    Strawberry shack Sunday
    Natalie K.

The flavor was really good and the strawberries were really good with it. But they didn't have a menu with the prices. And the quantity was really small. For a strawberry Sunday was $7 bucks. The customer service was nonexistent, kind of funny. They set our stuff on the pick up counter and didn't even say anything. because they didn't have a photo of the Sunday on the menu. We didn't know if it was ours. We're giving three because maybe they're having a hard day And we're trying to be nice

    Bad customer service!

We were disappointed by our experience, mainly because of the customer service. We ordered desserts for a group of 7 and received two strawberry shortcakes instead of the two strawberry Dole Whips. We politely asked for the mistake to be corrected, but the employee responded, "That's what you ordered," in a dismissive tone and seemed irritated. She then walked away, helped other customers, and left us waiting. When we asked again, she returned, slammed the Dole Whips down forcefully, and walked away without saying anything. Mistakes happen, but the way this was handled felt unnecessarily rude.

Good spot to test out some local strawberry themed products. The Strawberry Shack Shake as a refreshing drink on a warm day. The shake was not overly sweet and tasted fresh. Next time I'd like to try the chocolate covered strawberries. The employees were friendly and the service was quick.

I need to leave one star because I wasn't able to try it. Want to know why? They literally had only us in line and we got no acknowledgment and had the come back in 30 minute sign shoved in our face. We were the only ones left? And how rude to not at least acknowledge us and tell us you need to restock. She literally served the other ppl 2 minutes before us? Check my picture. You can literally see the people who got served right before it was our turn to get to the window. And they were like wow when they saw that they did that to us. So for now... strawberry shack... do better.

Strawberry shack shake tastes good, if a little ordinary

Came here and got the signature strawberry shack shake. It tasted good but not really special - pretty much what you would expect of a combination of strawberry and yogurt. There looked to be some other syrups or chocolate swirled on the sides of the cup but I couldn't really taste it. If I came back I would probably try the strawberry lavender sundae instead because it seems more unique. Service was good - the lids they had were kind of weird shaped and didn't fit on the cups, but the woman at the counter told us that beforehand and apologized for the inconvenience. The shack itself has a kind of cute nostalgic look, with little strawberry themed toys and a Beatles poster. No seating though!

This place doesn't just hit -- it slaps every single time. A friend put me onto Strawberry Shack years ago, and from that first bite it earned a permanent spot on my SoCal radar. Every visit feels familiar in the best way, like returning to something that never lost its rhythm. The fruit tastes like it was picked with intention. Fresh, bright, unapologetically good. The hospitality is effortless and genuine, the kind that doesn't need explaining. Simple, honest flavors done right, every single time. Now let's be real -- parking kinda sucks. With the Starbucks next door closed, finding a spot turns into a small endurance test. You'll circle, you'll sweat it out, and you might question if it's worth it. It is. Once you finally step up to the window, grab the strawberry pineapple Dole Whip. Cold, smooth, and wildly refreshing. The kind of reward that makes the parking headache disappear after the first bite. Some places fade over time -- this one stays rooted, sweet, and worth the effort

The cutest little dessert spot that has everything strawberry based deserts. I ordered their chocolate strawberries which were super delicious, and I also tried their strawberry shake which was to die for!

What an adorable roadside strawberry shack. This place definitely has curb appeal. So cute and what a fun walk up shop.I could easily see the line at this place getting long. We got there just before closing. So we weren't able to try everything, but it is so good that we cannot wait to go back tomorrow. Things we didn't get to try tonight. Were ice cream and the whipped cream?Because they had just run out when we got there. And it takes fifteen minutes to make as they make this right there in house. Even without the whipped cream, our stuff was amazing. We tried the strawberry key lime pie, dole whip pineapple, dole whip pineapple strawberry swirl, and strawberry shortcake, I definitely missed having whipped cream on this, but it was still so good!! With their own house made angel food cake. Wow!!!! Its was so light, sweet and gooood! The strawberry was very sweet and sneak a little dole whip in their it is AMAZING! ILL BE BACK!

Found my way to strawberry shack. Literally a shack in Carlsbad village. I loved their strawberries. Good quality for sure. 7 bucks for a strawberry shortcake really easy to eat. Not too sweet. I really enjoyed this Strawberry shake had a little too much strawberries but still really good. Thought it be too sweet but it wasn't Cool little spot. Fun items on here. Definitely will be back

Excellent spot to stop in for a quick strawberry snack while you cruise around downtown Carlsbad! They have chocolate covered strawberries, sundaes, shakes and more! They also have Dubai chocolate! It's always busy but they move fast and the wait isn't bad at all! The name Strawberry Shack is super fitting as it is literally a tiny little shack! Lol It's super cute, excellent location and overall brilliant idea!

Loved it ! Had the strawberry role and chocolate covered strawberry and was delicious!!!

Strawberry Shack is located near the large Carlsbad sign over a street that is seen in many photos of Carlsbad. As implied by the name, it a shack where you order all types of desserts or drinks that are strawberry flavored. You order from one window and receive the order from the other. There are two standing tables to enjoy the strawberry treat. I got the bowl of strawberry and strawberry shake. Both were reasonably priced with a great portion size. The homemade whipped cream was a great addition to both. I preferred the shake over the bowl of strawberries, which tasted sour on its own. Service was friendly but a bit awkward. When I asked the staff for recommendations, they couldn't really explain the options in any sort of detail. It looked like they were perplexed that I even asked these types of questions. Nonetheless, they were quick in the delivery. Overall, Strawberry Shack employs a very unique concept and is good to visit at least once.

Ordered the Dubai chocolate strawberries. Average and very expensive for the cup not to be filled to the top. Strawberries were very soggy as if they were old and left out.

On Mother's Day, they gave away a mini bouquet of flowers and a pint of ice cream. Unfortunately, I wasn't one of the first ten that also got a nice glass jar to store goodies in. I did see some people walk about with just the freebies and that was kind of annoying to see. I think they should have at least purchased something. They should have restricted the freebies to customers only. I ended up gifting the free non-vegan option to my mother (she loved it) and my hubby bought me a vegan pint for myself. Inside there is no seating but they have 2 benches outside. While there is a small parking lot in the back, the parking lot gets full quickly and street parking can be tricky. Their ice cream is really tasty and they even decorate your ice cream with extra toppings like sprinkles and vegan marshmallows. This is one of our new favorite ice cream shops!

Some of the flavors sounded a little unexpected at first, but every one we tried was delicious and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell they put a lot of care into creating flavors that are both fun and memorable. My personal favorite was the Banana Pancake flavor. It perfectly captured the comforting taste of a warm stack of pancakes and bananas, with just the right balance of sweetness. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly flavored like chocolate chip banana pancakes. My boyfriend had the Three Strikes flavor, which is a creamy peanut butter with peanut brittle, it was also delicious. We tried both flavors together and they both went really well together. The shop itself has a welcoming atmosphere, and the rotating selection of flavors makes it a place you'll want to visit more than once. If you're in Oceanside and looking for something beyond the typical ice cream shop, Little Fox is definitely worth stopping by. Whether you're feeling adventurous or just want a great scoop of ice cream, you're likely to find a flavor you'll love.

I was very skeptical to believe this was actually so good, but it was! The textures are really great; the florets are crunchy and the stem is a soft almost buttery texture. The flavors with the nuts and sauce are fantastic. It's a lot for 2 people, and would be ideal for 4 people to share. - market fish 12/10. The best thing we ate, wow it was so good. Every staff member I asked said this was their favorite dish, so of course, I ordered it. The fish was a steelhead trout. It was cooked perfectly, and the sauce, mushrooms, salmon roe, and kale perfectly complemented the dish. The portion is great! It's 6.5 oz, so easy to share. I only had a bite since I'm mostly pescatarian, but my husband gladly ate the whole thing. The dining experience is also great! The ambience is beautiful, but the inside is quite loud.
