I came back again! Strouderosa Barbecue is hands down my favorite barbecue spot in the city. Everything I ordered was outstanding from start to finish. I started with the baked potato topped with brisket and cheese, and it was incredible. The potato was cooked perfectly, the brisket was tender and flavorful, and the melted cheese brought everything together perfectly. I also had the two-meat plate with brisket, ribs, and a side of mac & cheese. The brisket was unbelievably juicy and tender with an amazing flavor from the rub. The ribs were just as impressive--meaty, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The mac & cheese was excellent as well, with rich cheesy flavor and noodles that had the perfect texture. My favorite items, though, were the jalapeño cheddar sausage and the hot link. Both were packed with flavor and some of the best sausages I've had anywhere in the city, pause. Every item I tried was delicious, and the quality was top-notch across the board. In my opinion, Strouderosa Barbecue serves the best barbecue in the city. We just had an incredible meal at Strouderosa BBQ in Dallas and can't wait to come back. We ordered a pound of their smoked brisket, and it was spot-on--juicy, tender, and packed with smoky goodness. The sides were equally impressive: the Mac n' Threeso (their queso mac) was creamy and addictive, the candied carrots had the perfect sweet bite, and the deviled egg potato salad was a fun, flavorful twist we didn't know we needed. Our son ordered the pulled pork sandwich lunch special with tumble fries (tornado-style fries), and it was a total hit--crispy, seasoned fries and incredibly tender pork. On top of the fantastic food, the staff made the experience even better. Everyone we interacted with was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. Strouderosa BBQ knocked it out of the park. I came to Strouderosa last week for dinner with friends to celebrate a birthday. Today, I came back with my adult son, who went to LHHS with the owner, for lunch!! Being native Texans, we know what good bbq is & Strouderosa checks all the boxes!! After lunch, I ordered takeout for my other son & his wife for lunch!! I had brisket stuffed spud again,as did my son. Besides being delicious, the portions are large!! For sides, we had the Mac'n cheese & deviled egg potato salad!! The dessert of churros peach cobbler & vanilla ice cream is "off the charts!!" Gobble Gobble!! - Strouderosa BBQ is outstanding. They smoked a number of Whole Turkeys for a special event we had and they were Fantastic! Best smoked turkey I have ever had, I and I know good BBQ. Great balance of turkey flavor, tenderness and smoked taste. The turkeys were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of moistness throughout - great for easy carving, nice presentation and most all, delicious feasting. The Spuderosa Jr was bursting with great flavors and cooked to perfection, while the Jalapeño Cheddar Sausage Sandwich was simply delicious. And let's talk about their MacNCheese - it was sooo good! Ordered online and went to pick it up. We live 5 minutes away and the food was hot and delicious when we got there. Within 5 seconds we were asked to be served by a kind server.
