Breakfast plate: no bread, pulled pork, potatoes , and eggs.
    Chris M.

I have eaten here a couple times a week for the last couple of months due to it being conveniently located in the office building where I work. The staff is always friendly and I have never been concerned about portion size and I am a fat kid who is big on quantity over quality. I haven't been disappointed in either quantity or quality and as far as the negative review about quantity of condiments, guess what? Ask for more, they always oblige! Overall 4 stars, food is 3 1/2 simply because it is deli food and nothing to write home about but the portions are always good. 5 stars for service and attitude, always kind and helpful!

I remember the gourmet Eatzi's phenomenon when the chain had a Houston location, which has been closed for almost 20 years. Although I've read Eatzi's may in fact return to Houston, I'll believe it when I see it. What I've always liked about Eatzi's is the high quality and variety of cuisine on offer. For some reason, this time I settled on hummus, but also saw lots of other cool choices, including sushi. Bread is baked in-house and lots of people seem to like the made to order sandwiches and prepared foods. Service here was really good, although I was a bit put off by the long line wrapped around the inside of the store. However, I was able to walk right past it to an easy checkout. Parking here, in my opinion, was easy. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit to this Eatzi's location in Dallas, and also hope Eatzi's returns to Houston one of these days.

They have a variety of foods and if you can't find something that you like, then you are probably just dead inside. I stopped in to grab some food for my flight out of Dallas. I had a veggie sandwich made to order, a piece of focaccia bread with tomatoes and cheese, and a piece of lemon blueberry pound cake. The sandwich turned out really nice with the type of bread I chose and a pesto sauce. The focaccia bread was good but would have been great toasted. The pound cake was alright but I would not get it again. There are many kinds of deserts all around inside to try. I just love going into Eatzi's to see what they have to offer!

My husband and I visited for Father's Day, also celebrating our second daughter who is about to be born. We've been wanting to try Mamani for a while, and i'm so glad we finally did. It exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the service was impeccable. We were greeted warmly and made to feel genuinely cared for throughout the evening, with attentive, personalized service that never felt overbearing. The space itself is elegant, sophisticated, and upscale. It was a bit louder than expected, but our tucked-away corner made it feel more intimate and comfortable. The food was outstanding. Each course was paced perfectly, allowing the entire experience to unfold without feeling rushed--we genuinely lost track of time, and three hours felt like minutes. The prawns were delightful, and the duck was the standout of the evening--truly the best my husband and I have ever had. The leeks were the only dish that felt just okay in comparison to everything else. Overall, it was an exceptional dining experience from start to finish. Compliments to the chefs and staff. We will absolutely be back.

Yikes! Definitely not a one star Michelin restaurant. For that to be the case, food and service…read morehave to be "very good." June 29th we dined here for a birthday celebration. We were seated by the hostess. She left the table. We were left waiting for a menu. So either the hostess or the waitress was supposed to hand us the menu. The hostess came back after some time and apologized that she forgot to hand us our menus. Our waitress didn't seem to have much personality. Not friendly, not terribly informative and generally no nonsense. BORING. Bread Service was just "ok." The fancy butter was much better than the bread that was made across the street at bread club. I can't remember a single dish being outstanding. We ordered the crudo, beet salad, croquette, crystal shrimp, pork dish, orchiette pasta dish - all "meh." The one thing that I do remember is ordering the branzino and finding several fish bones present. Any single one of these miscues should be enough to tell you that this is not a Michelin one-star worthy restaurant. The only positive things I recall about the experience was that the cocktail was very good and that the manager was amusing with his anecdotes about being a personal chef for Novak Djokovic. But the thing that makes me most upset is paying good money with the expectation that this is going to be a fantastic meal, only to leave extremely disappointed and angry. I don't think anyone in my dinner party felt that this was a memorable experience from a Michelin star restaurant, and all three of us have dined previously at several Michelin star restaurants. There is a lot of room for improvement. We shall wait to see whether the Michelin guide will uphold this reading after a year goes by.
