Turkey, Roast Beef and Swiss Sandwich

I like Subbies Subs & More for being no-frills, offering skillfully constructed, delicious, reasonably priced sandwiches, and always being warmly greeted with each visit. The breads they use are top-quality, resulting in a light, soft, and chewy texture and taste of freshness you find in bakeries and good delis like this one. The bread choices are white, wheat, and sourdough. They slightly toast their breads to give them some added texture and a crunch. I recommend all the sandwiches I have tried: 1) roast beef, turkey, and Swiss, 2) Albacore tuna with provolone, 3) tri-tip, and 4) Philly cheesesteak. They use quality meats and cheeses, breads, and the right amount of various condiments (of your choice or not), which makes a difference. I love how they strategically layer the meats, cheeses, and vegetables. They make the sandwiches look more visually appealing and satisfying to bite into. The onion rings are good. They also offer fries, beer-battered fries, and sweet potato fries. Burgers, hotdogs, and corndogs are on the menu as well. The prices of the sandwiches are reasonable, ranging from $9.50 to $10.60. There are plenty of parking spaces. A good local deli that serves a decent selection of tasty, well-constructed sandwiches at reasonable prices.

Honestly didn't know this place existed and found it on Yelp. Great sandwiches and incredible beer battered onion rings. The bread was soft and fresh. Took only a few minutes to make the sandwiches. I had the chipotle chicken on Dutch crunch while my son had the spicy chicken on wheat. Only issue was that mine had olives when I asked for no olives, but I just picked them off rather than fuss about it. Definitely going to come back

Sub was really good, definitely hit the spot it left me feeling full in a good away! Definitely a spot to return too and to check out. Quick and fast service as well. Nice quiet place to enjoy lunch.

This was our first time here. You build your own sandwich, there wasn't any "signature" sandwiches. We ordered at the counter, medium toasted roast beef with everything. Staff was friendly, there was hardly a wait. We got our drinks and sat down and our food was done. Sandwich was good & the fries were some of the best fries I've had. They were hot, crispy and seasoned. The ranch was also good & im not a typically a ranch fry dipper. Definitely plan on coming back to try some other things and the beer battered fries.

Great little family owned and operated sandwich shop that offers hot and cold sandwiches, burgers and beer battered sides. The sides are excellent and the service very friendly and personalized. Each meal is made to order

Love this sandwich spot. Super good food with quality ingredients and freshness. The bread is delicious and light, making all the flavors of the sandwich pop. The staff is super friendly, fast and efficient. They are also very attentive to making sure the tables and establishment is clean. Highly recommend trying this place. My go to is the tri tip with bbq sauce.

I found parking easily and was immediately greeted on entering. The restaurant is fairly spacious with additional tables to the side. Inside was bustling! There are giant menus on the wall above the register with mostly drinks, sandwiches and "burgers". I ordered the grilled pork sandwich. After I ordered I saw more menus on the counter with so many more offerings. Several things caught my eye like the garlic fries with bulgogi - what?! And banh xeo. I will be back! I took my sandwich to go and took a bite while stopped at a light. OMG!!! This was such a good sandwich! I could have eaten two - to be fair, it is on the smaller side haha! It was so difficult to not devour it on the ride home. The meat was wonderfully marinated and there were enough pickled veggies, jalapeno slices and cilantro for me (I'm ridiculous about wanting more fresh veg) It was made so perfectly. I have to mention that it was under $10 so I was not resentful of the smaller size. I reluctantly shared a few bites with my daughter who also loved it. I thought I took a pic of the banh mi but I guess I got distracted! We will definitely be back.

I only tried their BBQ pork banh mi, and while it looked promising, it wasn't quite what I expected. BBQ PORK - BAHN MI ($9.75) :: The pate was salty and overpowered the whole sandwhich. The pork itself tasted a bit gamey, lacked of flavor, and seemed slightly stale. The breading didn't give that nice flaky crunch. I personally think that it's a bit pricey for this size too. The sandwhich is long and small; it's not worth for what you paid for. RATE: 1/5 FRENCH FRIES ($5.50) :: Their fries is pretty good. I love the coating on the fries. It gives that nice crispy crunch. There's nothing special here. It just taste like regular fries. The amount that they give you is definetly bang for the bucks. RATE : 5/5 SERVICE :: Love their service but not the wait time. It was pretty empty in there but it took them a good 15 minute to finish my order. RATE : 2/5 Overall, the shop has a lot of charm, but the bahn mi just didn't hit the mark for me personally. Don't forget to grab their fries, it's great for the snacks. I would definitely come back to try their other dishes. The only reason that is holding me back a bit is their priceing is just a bit pricey from anywhere else though.

This was our first time at Dosan, and heard they were moving from a buffet restaurant (we hadn't…read moretried) and pivoting to a more upscale format. Overall, it was good, yet in our humble opinion, the sauces need some serious tweaking. Presentation of all the food was very good. We ordered two appetizers to start. One was a posted special of steak bites, and the other was a menu item Boule Stuffed Bread. For the bread, think of a buttery garlic paste maybe injected into the center of a large roll of bread. It's certainly a different way of preparing it, and it worked for us. We really liked it. The steak bites were a split decision between us. My wife didn't like them, I did, with a caveat. I was impressed when asked how we wanted them, medium rare, of course. There were 10-12 bites of steak, presented nicely with a dipping sauce in the middle. The bites were cooked as requested, and I thought tasted good. The sauce needs some help. I dipped about a third of my bites. The sauce had a very strong sense of Worcestershire sauce. I grew up with parents who used Worcestershire sauce on steaks and hamburgers, so it was a bit of a reminiscent journey for me. On the other hand, it's probably not a sauce appropriate for a kitchen pivoting to be upscale. My wife ordered the grilled salmon. Instead of the rice posted online menu, it was served on a large bed of garlic pasta. That change in itself is nothing to be concerned about. The salmon was delicious! It was a good size serving, and well prepared. The garlic pasta needs its sauce refreshed. We are garlic people. Love it. But the garlic on the pasta was so overpowering it took away from the pasta far more than it gave. My wife saved the pasta to take home, where she tamed it down a bit to serve with a home dinner later. I ordered the 14 oz ribeye steak. It was served with a sweetcorn & hash, chili risoto and charred chamoy glazed vegetables. The risotto was good, not phenomenal. It might be because I've never had risotto with those ingredients before. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, it just was a new experience for me. The glazed vegetables were another new experience. At a lot of restaurants, they serve roasted/grilled mixed vegetables--and served pretty much the same, butter and garlic. I applaud Dosan for going with a different route. Again, I wasn't overwhelmed, but I also enjoyed it. The steak is a personal preference thing. I love a great steak, and a 14 ounce ribeye is something I needed to try. Steaks of that weight can be thick with a smaller diameter, or thin and larger. My preference is thick. Dosan's style is thin and large. When it came out, I was worried about how it was cooked and the taste. It was prepared perfectly to my medium rare request, and seasoned perfectly for me. I really enjoyed it. I asked them to pair a glass of Cabernet with it, and received a wonderful Mondavi that was a great compliment to it. Thanks to the steak bites appetizer, I wasn't able to finish the ribeye, so I took about half of it home for a future steak sandwich. We skipped dessert because we were full. This was the first time in the building, regardless of prior owners/operations here. We have a group of a dozen friends who we go out to dinner once a month. We're always looking for a new place to try. It's our turn to pick next month, so this was a test run. The layout looks great for our needs as they have areas that could easily accommodate us. The service staff were great too. Yet, because of the sauces, we're hesitant to bring the group here just yet. We're hoping that as Dosan's continues its pivot to fine dining and the sauces get worked out. When it's our turn to pick a place next time, we'll test here again, but that will be in about a year. Hopefully they are still in business and have completed their pivot. I want to see them succeed. For now, I'd encourage you to try this place and decide on your own. We saw other dishes being served, including sandwiches, that looked really good.

After reviewing the menu selection, it felt like I was waiting for a while just for a staff member to acknowledge us. Instead, the workers were standing with their backs to us , and left us standing there for a while. In fact , I was so confused I was looking around for a kiosk to order my food. The next thing that I didn't like was the price of our lunch. 45.00 for one sandwich , two small cups of soup , two fountain drinks , and a dessert. Seems pricey for a sandwich spot. I get it - this is a step up from Subway. However, for what I spent - I expected more. Finally, the dining room tables were grimy. I had to clean off our own table before the food arrived. I felt like this was inexcusable considering the amount of staff standing around not doing much. Here is what I did like. The menu has a nice variety of hot or cold sandwiches, sides , and desserts. Everything sounded so good. Today, I opted for the Monterey chicken sandwich. While the flavor was good, it ate a little messy. I had chicken pieces falling out and cheese oozing out of the bottom. I don't think I would order this again- there appears to be better options to choose from. The baked potato soup was really good ( salty but delicious)! Hands down , the best thing we tried was Gary's chocolate cake. That cream cheese frosting was heavenly! Heads up- this cake is super sweet ,and a little goes a long way. Feel free to share this dessert. I am coming back to try more menu items- I may have just ordered the wrong sandwich today.

I ordered the 6-inch tuna with lettuce, tomato, pickles, jalapeno, and banana peppers, along with a drink. By the time I had filled my drink and walked back to the pickup counter, my sandwich was already done! Apparently, online orders have to be made close to the pick-up time so they sit for too long. So, if five or more people order a sandwich for pickup at 12:30pm, your ass is waiting and walk-ins get taken care of first! They gave me a large tuna portion for my sandwich. It was very fresh and not too heavy on the mayo either, which can create a drippy sando. Loved all the toppings except that they put pickle spears on their sandwiches and not pickle chips... why? The sandwich came on dutch crunch bread, which I normally love, but it was hard a little hard to bite through. The crust was more chewy than crunchy, but still soft on the inside. Decent prices, a huge menu, and they offer most of their sandwiches in wrap form as well.
