I hate that I'm having to write this review, but Subway really needs to do better by protecting and supporting their employees. I came in today and witnessed an employee being completely belittled by a customer over the store being out of chocolate chip cookies. From what I overheard, this wasn't the first issue they've had with this regular customer, and employees have apparently even had to call the police before because of his erratic behavior. The customer became aggressive, grabbed his sandwiches, and stormed out. What stood out most to me was how professionally and calmly Summer handled the entire situation. She remained respectful throughout the interaction despite clearly being uncomfortable. Seeing the sigh of relief on her face after he finally left was honestly sad. No employee deserves to feel unsafe or verbally attacked while simply doing their job. Summer handled herself with grace, and I truly hope management recognizes that and takes situations like this more seriously moving forward. read more

And every time, I encounter Anthony, maybe I got lucky but I got there when he got fresh cookies out the oven, he was really nice, I let him take his time because this man is making me a sandwich. OPEN 24 HOURS!!!! Whaaaat?! So glad there's a subway open 24 hours in the area. Dropped in around 1am on a weekday. Empty of course but as I walked in I was immediately greeted by Anthony. Service was quick, efficient and very friendly. This location provided fresh ingredients, Anthony told me he would cut fresh cucumbers but I was good with what they had. My sandwich was delicious. My wife warned me. "But we have gift certificates", I said. It wasn't worth it. The three of us ordered sandwiches, and all was well until it was time to pay. The service was sort of "meh". No smiles or friendly behavior. No positive energy....but they did ask if we wanted the sandwiches toasted. That's something, I guess "Our gift certificate scanner hasn't worked in months", she says. She has me type my number on her keypad, but that doesn't work either. "Can you go into your app and combine the amounts", she says. Ok. But that still didn't work. 25 minutes at the register, and I still can't get to talk to a manager, even on the phone. She spoke with him, but he wouldn't speak with me. I asked for his and the owner's contact info, but they wouldn't give it. So here we are on Yelp. Bad service, bad communication, inoperable equipment that they have known about, and poorly-trained staff. Don't ever go to the Subway on Archibald in Eastvale in the Albertsons shopping center. Terrible service. I always order ahead and show up later than the expected time because my sandwich is never ready on time. I put in an order at 12:24pm and the app said it would be ready by 12:45pm. I walk in a few minutes after 12:45pm and they haven't even touched my order. I understand it is busy but if you have three workers on the floor, why can't one be designated for online orders while the others focus on walk-in customers. I ordered 2 meatball subs so me and my brother can each have one and added bacon cause the meatballs are not enough meat. These lazy workers chose to make it one sandwich instead of two like we requested on DoorDash. And for the "added bacon" it was one strip of undercooked bacon so we couldn't even eat it cause we could get sick! My wife ordered SLICED AVOCADO as an extra & the Roasted Garlic Aioli. NONE of those were in her sub when she bit into it. It was bland without any sauce or sliced avocado. I wanted something different, so I ordered the BLT foot long, with EXTRA bacon/protein. Didn't come with extra protein, not enough lettuce, & a few pieces of bacon. We were not satisfied at all. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT ORDER ONLINE/FOR PICK-UP!! If you really want Subway from this place, please go inside and see them make it yourself to save you the trouble! The staff at this Subway always has attitude. Every other time we come in we have to deal with some worker who's got major stink face, as if coming in and giving their establishment business is an annoying imposition. This certainly doesn't apply to all staff, in fact, we've gotten fantastic service on occasion. However, more often than not it's dirty looks and snide comments. I get this is a Subway and I'm not looking for a 5-star experience but basic courtesy isn't too much to ask for. Food is fine - you can't really mess this stuff up. I ordered from this location today and I was confused as to why it was taking so long and why my dasher kept getting reassigned.
