There's a reason why this Subway has as many 1 star reviews as 5 star reviews...I'm honestly surprised at how many 5 star reviews they have. This isn't my first run in with mistakes from this location, and I think I'm just completely fed up. Trust, I've learned my lesson and I'll just go to a different Subway, or Jersey Mikes. Ordered 2 sandwiches online, and of course went through the process to CHOOSE WHAT VEGETABLES I WANTED. Went to pick up the sandwiches and my sandwich literally has 3 vegetables I didn't want. I checked my receipt to see if it was me making the error but it wasn't. They added tomatoes and olives, the two vegetables that are juicy - so juicy that it leaves a taste in your sandwich and you can't just pick it out. I made my sandwich a meal, and I added smashed avocado. So I paid $20 for a sandwich that I'm won't even enjoy. So I tried to do the survey to explain what happened and when you try to look up the store number, it doesn't pop up on the survey. I called the store and asked them what I should do to turn in my survey, and their response was, "Oh! I didn't even know there was a survey." Ugh Save your money, go somewhere else. read more

The worst subways I ever ate. Make sure you don't order from an app so you can see what your sub looks like before you purchase it. When I picked up my 2 sandwiches I should've know by the size of my subs that there was hardly anything in it. Hardly any lettuce and very minimal veggies. They are trying to save money so they short change the customers. The Windward mall and Waimalu sub is literally twice the size. I'm so unhappy. Customer service was okay. Plenty parking.. My sandwich was not good. I went in at about 7:30pm placed my order for only 1 sandwich. The bread was so hard and it wasn't even toasted. I'm eating at the airport and there is so much crumbs on the ground . I never had a bread this hard ever. Not going to go back to this location. read more

This subway for the most part has good customer service and they make your sandwich pretty good to where it's not always falling apart or your bread isn't soggy. The prices is moderately fair for the amount of veggies or sauces you can put on your sandwich and if you sit inside it's refillable drinks. It's usually quiet to moderately loud depending on the time you come and preferably for me I like to clean up after myself so the trash cans are close by. read more

I live close by, but this is my 2nd time here, I don't recall the service being this bad before. There was just one other person in front of me, and 2 workers, both were concentrating on the on-line orders, and were working PAINFULLY SLOW! Meanwhile, it was over 20-25 minutes before attending to the customer in-front of us!!! He ordered 4 sandwiches, and I recall him mentioning no onions in one of the sandwiches, but I saw them add onions. When it came to my order, I had to repeat my order 3x. I ordered a BLT, and yet she put salami?, I had to correct her and she put only 2 slices of bacon on my 6" sub. My sandwich tasted like a lettuce sandwich. We spent 45 minutes here, and saw several people leave because of the wait time. The slow workers that had basically zero attentive skills were actually sweet and kept composed dealing with frustrating customers. Sorry, no photo of my lettuce sandwich. read more

WORST experience ever at this location. I placed a mobile order for 2 sandwiches in the app on January 8th. 5 minutes after placing the order, I got a call from one of the staff members. She advised me that they didn't have any white bread or Italian bread (which I ordered.) I advised the staff member to cancel my order and refund me. She said that only a manager could process the refund. I called back later in the evening and requested the manager. Mila, the manager, called me back that evening at 10pm and stated that she processed the refund. I asked for confirmation and she said that she didn't have any but it would be refunded in 2-3 days. I paid with a gift card and Mila said that it would go back. A couple of days later, I didn't get a refund and went to the store. Mila happened to be there and I believe one of the owners Mylene was there as well. They both insisted that the refund would be processed and showed me paperwork that they "voided" the transaction. In the paperwork that they showed me, it said it was refunded to a Visa card. I clearly showed the 2 of them that I paid with a gift card in my app. They said that they would talk to the "office" the next day and call me back the next day. They could have handled the situation in store (since I was standing there) but they chose not to. I never received a call back. A couple of days after not hearing back, I emailed a complaint stating what happened to the Subway Feedback link on their website. After submitting the complaint, I received an email on January 13th from Mylene and it stated the following: I want to take a moment to thank you for contacting me and sharing your feedback regarding your recent Subway® experience. I appreciate your feedback and the time you took to share your point of view. I apologize your last visit did not meet your expectation. I have shared your feedback with my team to improve our customer service. Our district manager, Jimmy, will contact you to resolve this issue. Thank you for being a loyal Subway® customer and we look forward to serving you again in the future. Mylene B. Feliho Co-Owner I responded to the email that I look forward to hearing from "Jimmy". I have not heard a word from them since. I have waited over 3 weeks and have spent way too much time trying to deal with getting $11 from this location for sandwiches that I never received. Apparently, they do not care about customer service at all. If my $11 means more to them than assisting customers, they can keep the money. I will gladly patronize other local business that care about their customers and will not be supporting this Subway location again. I am especially surprised seeing as Mylene is "co-owner" that she doesn't care more about her customers. I don't know who "Jimmy" the district manager is as I never heard a word from him. I'm not sure he actually exists. Lesson is that I should always use a credit card when purchasing products as I could dispute the transaction as I have no recourse with my gift card. read more

I love the Italian sandwich toasted. My favorite was pastrami but they don't have it anymore. bummers... The only thing I don't like is that they don't toast the bread enough so its usually soggy or cold. I ask them to toast it more but they never do as I ask so I just take it home and toast it myself. Also their online ordering system has it's share of issues. I hope they fix it. It's such an awesome deal when they have buy 1 foot long get 1 foot long free deal. What is going on with trying to get good customer service? I placed a mobile order print out my specific order. But alas my order was wrong. Instead of a 12 inch flatbread they made my sandwich with a wrap. There is a distinct difference with a wrap and a flatbread. Called them, they said they would make my sandwich but bring the wrap. Got to the store and the guy says "Sorry but we use the same things and I was in a rush." What an excuse. They took the sandwich back and nothing done for my trouble. Tried Subway again after hearing that they were under new management; and I did see a difference; especially in the service. Yesterday's crew was Max & Selena; who happens to be studying to be a lawyer. They both seemed to work well together & took the time to make my sandwiches the way I like them. The subs were pretty good; I got their Italian BMT & Tuna sandwiches. (Forgot to take pics). In addition, surprisingly the chocolate chip cookies were really good too...nice & sweet. This location is next to Rise & Shine Cafe and L & L. Plenty of parking as well. They've got my biz back again. read more

Today, 10/11/22, I did an online order at this SUBWAY in MILILANI MAUKA. When my son arrived to pick up the order, it wasn't ready. So My son waited for them to finish. He noticed that one of the workers had undone his wrap and proceeded to re-do it. When we got home, my son bit into his Buffalo Chicken wrap and the chicken was still FROZEN! I decided to call the store to bring it to their attention. I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. I told him about the wrap and how disappointed I was with the quality of the food. I explained to him that we had been customers of this Particular store for years and that it was the first time we had ever gotten bad product. He asked if we wanted him to remake it, but at this point, we declined. I asked if the store had new franchise owners or management, and he said it was management. The conversation got very heated as I asked more and more questions about his role as management and how he would serve to his customer cold, frozen chicken?!?! I asked if he was helping out at the store because like everywhere else, they were short staffed, being the highest "manager" there I'm thinking he's "corporate" Level. So I asked him if he was management from the islands or the mainland..... he told me he was OFFENDED by the question!!! I just wanted to know in what capacity of Management he was at, he declined to answer! Being the way that he handled the situation, he was in NO WAY any kind of manager with the lack of managerial skills..... because you DO NOT hang up the phone on a customer when the pressure is on.... YES! He hung up on me! And prior to that, he told me he was going to report my inappropriate question about his being from here or the mainland?!?! Sir.... If you are reading this, it doesn't matter where you are from, but don't pretend you are something when you are not! I just needed to know if you were a Corporate manager from the mainland, doing QA checks because that particular store has been getting complaints about poor service recently! Rest assured Mr. Store Manager, I have asked you for a refund, whether I get it from you locally or not, I will be contacting your Corporate offices on the mainland to file a complaint about this store, I'm sure you are in Franchise violation of some sort or another! Mauka residents.... Do not support this store until it's been cleaned up! It's worth the drive down to the other 2 Subways located in our community! If I'm in the Mililani area this is the subway I'd go to. Facility is clean and tidy. Staff Julie, Ciera and Jo friendly and fast. Got my meal in a timely manner.
