Meeehhh... I'll come here every once a month or so to grab a quick sandwich to eat at my desk. I usually go for a footlong meatball marinara with extra cheese, toasted, with olives and Chipotle sauce. It ain't great, but it's pretty good and unless someone had a stroke during the morning shift, the meatballs are typically palatable. I can't really ask for much more than that for less than 7 bucks, so Subway is 3 stars in my book. read more

I can't really complain or rave about this place... it's a Subway. It does the job. Heavily Filipino-employed and the service is okay. I feel like they could smile a bit more, but customer service jobs can be stressful, so it's understanding. Just like any other Subway, it has it's $5 foot-longs, and higher priced sandwiches according to popularity and premiums. Usually around lunch time there can be a slight line, but it usually goes by fast and I don't think I've had to wait longer than 5 minutes. It was too early in the morning and Nellie already had a pleasant vibe going. It's very rare that you come across good customer service at such an early time. This is absolutely the WORST subway I've ever been too. The service is better in prison cafeterias. The guy working the register made me feel stupid and unwelcome. If I were a manager anywhere my employee gave attitude like that to a customer I would fire them on the spot. read more

The shop is bug and has decent seating and the employees are very kind- I know I'm a grouch in the morning! BUT the management needs to be a little smarter. They claim to open at 5 but really the just have ONE employee there (to set up) he's trying to do things like bake bread and start coffee with me knocking on his door at 5:30 every Monday. The location either needs to change the hours of operation sign or schedule another person so that if someone does come in before six- there is an employee to serve them, and someone can still be setting up their 1000 signs! read more

These people have perfected the art of making the skinniest foot long Subway sandwich. The steak & cheese sandwich that cost $8.14, looked so skinny that for a second I thought about buying this sandwich another foot long sandwich to eat, so that it does not look like a starved to bones FOB sandwich from some war-torn country. I am a Subway fan, and Subways on Bush & the one on Keary&Clay are pretty good, in fact, 4 stars for quality & quantity. This one how ever ,.... well less said the better. Owned by a filipino.....workers are filipino....fresh veggies, open 24hrs 7 days a week....definitely will support this franchise once a week since everyone behind the counter is super friendly, lots of aloha spirit, and isn't phased by the rudeness some of those FiDi people bring into the store.... read more

It's Subway, so nothing you don't expect. What I will say is that this is a great place to sit and have lunch. There are a lot of tables, even bar tables, which I like. Come before the rush hour, so maybe around 12:00-12:15pm. read more

I constantly find myself eating here for no better reason than it being the closest food establishment to my work. Today, like Monday and Wednesday, I decided to work out at lunch. Walking back after killing it I finally realized I should eat something or my blood sugar will dip to unhealthy levels. Walking indecisively with legs humming from a workout and just really concerned if I can make it across a cross-walk in the given time remaining on the sign. I'm totally in a zone, my own, wishing I were sitting down and not on my legs anymore. The little voice inside, not the one that makes me drink but the good one that takes care of my basic needs, screams "Subway or hunger!" I got my 6" turkey on wheat with extra mayo. I was just in there at 11:56 on my phone and the employee insisted he couldn't make any more sandwiches + asked me to leave. The door was open and you close at 12, not 11:56. Sorry to be That Guy and show up right before closing, but it still reeks of general laziness on the employee's and management's part Instead, I'm going to bed exhausted AND hungry now. This Subway was so hot, no ac, no ventilation, and just a ceiling fan. The people were so sweet and nice ad took notice of how hot it was and Made every attempt to make are visit more enjoyable! It was unusually hot day here in the city, but the staff here made my visit a good one, despite the elements! read more

This is for breakfast only: The lady that's in there between 6:30am & 7:30am is kind of awful. There is no respect for peoples schedules or getting them through the line in a timely manner. 99% of the people in line either have to catch the muni right on Market or need to rush into the office. She is slower than slow and just looks miserable. Something that should take less than 5 minutes can take upwards of 15 minutes. As of late, it's a crap shoot on whether or not they except credit cards or gift cards. At least 2 to 3 times a week they have a paper sign up saying "CASH Only". Super inconvenient!! read more

I have been to a TON of Subways (I believe I have a review on here even raving about one), but this one is by far, by a mile, the worst I have ever been to. The service is absolutely awful, the food is not fresh, and they are ALWAYS trying to push extra items on you at the register - something I've never experienced at any other Subway. I have kept going here because it's near my office, but it's the only saving grace. AVOID AVOID AVOID if possible. read more

Staff is friendly with the exception of one, actually horrible lady, Editha. You'll have to repeat yourself several times with her, not because she can't hear you, but because she doesn't listen to the answer. She charges more when she's at the counter too. She won't let you use a coupon because the sandwich you ordered "is on special" which makes no sense at all. I guess being on special means it costs more. read more

I am a Topless Activist fighting for equity rights for both men and women to the the same right to be topless. In most place's that I've found they won't let you come in topless if your topless but while I was walking by this subway I thought I take a chance and go in. The one women taking orders was a little shock but she took my order. Even the the guy cleaning up did not seem to have any problems with me. After I got my food I sat down and had my food. Worst service. They are so busy speaking personal stuff while working that they forget what customers Ask to add on their sub .

I am a real subway lover, but I don't like the way they over-toast the bread and they fill stuffs in like its for animals, not for humans.

This is more than your typical Subway. Their $5 sandwich is $5. Looks like they are making themselves standout from all the other Subways. Plus they will toast your sandwich if you just ask. There is another Subway nearby which I normally eat at. I don't what it is, but regardless of the price, the sandwich seems to taste better at this one. Maybe the staff is taking greater interest in making the sandwich? I really can not tell you why but it is worth it for me to walk a block to eat at this one than the one near my building. At this location the staff don't seem to care about giving good customer service. The gentlemen who made my sandwich today, cut my sandwich too short. I ordered a 6 inch Turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese, toasted and I notice the sandwich was cut too short. The sub was actually 5 1/2 inches. When I mentioned it to the women who rang up my order, that the sandwich was not 6-inches, she just laughed. Since they shorted me and I paid full price for a 6-inch sub, I should at least have been compensated with a cookie or either re-make the sandwich or discounted it. Instead the women who rang up my sandwich laughed and gave me a free bag. she replied that the bag was for shorting me on the size of my Sandwich , what a joke. I have gone to this location several times before today, and always find my sandwich is not made the way that I asked them to make it. What I asking for is very easy. Everything on it except, Pickles, Sweet Pickles, and no hot peppers. This Subway is extremely hot all the time! Very uncomfortable to stay and eat their. You almost feel like your are in the south or south east Asia. The celling fan is moving very slowly, so much so that it has no effect on providing a cooler climate, I think it's there just for show. I have given this location 4 try's in a 2 month period, and it never seems to fail that they get something wrong with my order. I will never go back there and will tell everyone I know not to patron this location. They don's they listen. What a shame. P.S. In the extreme heat like it was today in the 80's, they had their Tuna out, which started to turn brown on the edges of the cylinder that is was in. Someone is going to get sick, and sew them!! I hope sooner than later. Tuna or fish needs to be chilled and not left out like I saw it today with little black flies circling the room. What a nasty joint!!! What a shame. read more
