I took my Golden Retriever and German Shepherd in for grooming today and they came out looking amazing. Their coats are so soft, they smell fresh, and the doggy cologne plus paw/nose balm was such a nice touch. The staff said my boys were a little noisy (they love to talk to each other), but they still handled them with patience and care. You can tell they really know how to work with big, vocal dogs. The quality of the bath was honestly better than what I could manage at home right now especially with my allergies acting up and the price was super affordable for the level of service. My new favorite grooming parlor! This place was recommended by a friend but i was hesitant on their pricing. One thing i regret it not finding this place sooner. They make booking very easy with their website. You get to pick what service you want and what's included (ex: facial, nail trimming, etc.) their times are also very flexible and they are very accommodating. The one thing that blows my mind is how quick the service is. Other grooming services typically take 2hours but Suds N' Bones only take 45mins. I've gone 3 times and all times it's only taken 45 mins but the quality never falters. They do such a great job with my doggies and they come out content and happy, never anxious or scared that makes you worry about how they treat your dogs. Lilly who was at the front counter was not friendly and the groomer who came out Laura she was only interested if my dog was matted. My dog is 11 lbs and is groomed regularly I was visiting my cousin sho lives down the street and I thought I would try this establishment. My charge was $95.00 plus I had to put a $30 retainer the day before that would be non refundable. When the groomer took my dog back to start I finished filling out this form handed it to Laura and tried to tell her that I felt they were not friendly as I was a first time customer and her answer was to open the back door tell the groomer to bring my dog up it's not going to be a good fit here. I brought my dog in for a brush & bath grooming appointment. While the front desk staff were friendly, I was disappointed in the quality of the grooming and the response from management. When I brought my dog home, I noticed he had tangles on his back end and tail - areas that should have been thoroughly brushed out during the service. I had brushed him thoroughly before the appointment, and he did not have mats or tangles when I dropped him off. I tried to brush them out myself (defeating the purpose of a paid service), but some were so severe that I had to cut them out. (Please see photos) I reached out to the business and was offered a redo of the service or a partial refund. I declined the redo as the appointment had already been stressful for my dog and I no longer trusted the quality of their grooming. The refund offered was only a small percentage of what I paid, which I didn't feel reflected the extent of the issue/the incomplete service (not brushing/fully drying). The response from the business was very disappointing and they were unwilling to provide a fair solution. I also tipped in cash, in good faith, prior to realizing the issue, and management was unwilling to verify the tip and refused to refund it. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I hope this helps other pet owners make an informed decision. I expected a more thorough and professional grooming experience and a better response from management. Edit to address your comment: While your response includes several false claims that misrepresent what happened, I want to address a few of the most serious ones. First, it is entirely false to suggest that I was "harassing" your business. I was polite and respectful throughout all our interactions, both in person and in writing, as I tried to explain my concerns and work toward a fair resolution. As for mediation, I was open and clear in my efforts to resolve the matter fairly. You offered only two rigid options and refused to consider any alternatives and showed no willingness to have a genuine conversation. Your exact words were, "this is not up for negotiation." Also, at no point did you clarify that your "partial refund" amounted to only about 37% of the total, or closer to 30% if you include the tip. Additionally, my complaint is not about subjective satisfaction - it is about services that were not completed as agreed upon and paid for. I paid for full-service grooming, including brushing and drying. Those services were not completed as my dog was not brushed (which is clear from the mats that I had to cut out and the tangled rear end) and my dog was not fully dried (which is also clearly visible in the photos where his coat appears crinkled from still being damp). At no point during the service or at pick-up was I informed of any concerns or obstacles that would prevent the groomer from fully completing the service paid for. Regarding the tip, I encourage you to check your video footage. I handed two $20 bills to the front desk and did not receive change. The claim that I did not leave a tip is simply untrue. I'm disappointed that instead of addressing the facts, your response includes personal attacks and false accusations. My review is honest and I took care to remain objective and factual. My dog's groomer has closed business and i wanted to try Suds N' Bones Grooming Parlor based on the amazing reviews. Well let me tell you, they did not disappoint! The appointment process was SO EASY! They have various people and so the availability is amazing! I reserved literally a day prior and it worked out so well. They followed up with confirmation by text and I'm pretty sure it wasn't automated because it seemed like it was someone on the other side of the texts, which I appreciate in case I had questions or concerns! So I dropped off my dog, she is old and is always sooo nervous. The drop off process was easy, less than a minute. I left and literally in 45 minutes, my dog was ready to be picked up! She seemed so happy when I arrived and the ladies were so kind to her. Megan was the one that cut my dog's hair and she did amazing!! It seems like she went around my dog's skin tags which I appreciate because other groomers have made my dog bleed before. Overall, customer service was great! One thing I want to mention as well is that as an owner of a very anxious dog, I appreciate that they do one dog at a time instead of keeping my dog for hours and hours in a cage waiting for her turn. The price for one. They said she will cost $150 to be groomed on a regular basis. My dog is a cattle dog poodle mix and has been groomed since 4 months old. She is an easy dog to groom with no issues. I brush her daily so she is not a matted Poole mix. I understand if I did not brunch her on a regular basis then the $150 price would be understandable but this is not the case. I also had a picture I showed the groomer of the hair style I was requesting, which in tails rounding of the ears and face. They did not do that. They cut her hair straight across and one of the ears is cut shorter than the other. I am disappointed and will now have to wait to get her cut the way I had requested.
