I've been going to Sudsy time since they opened. I have never had any issues as the ones mentioned in these 1-star reviews, I truly do not believe the dogs are mistreated, the customer service is always spectacular, prices are very reasonable and transparent, wait times are reasonable, my dog Kai always comes home looking and smelling great. He knows when we are arriving and knows exactly where to go. He is always greeted with enthusiasm and handled with love and care. We've moved away from the area, but I still drive from Chicago to Bolingbrook for Kai's grooming. Highly recommend! read more

Was told nail trims are $5, but $10 if the dog is difficult over the phone. Once in store, I asked if they grinded the nails for the trim and was told yes. After, I was charged $15, and was told only after that grinding was an extra $10. They did a good job but not upfront with their pricing and seem to upcharge. read more

I took my dog here once to just get his nails cut & a quick haircut. But they said they couldn't cut his fur cause he was already a short hair dog, but that they could brush out all of his dead hairs so was like okay whatever. My dog is a very energetic dog, the very next day, we notice he's feeling a little down & notice bumps on his head. My poor baby got FLEAS from this place. From the years that I've had my dog not once has he gotten fleas & the one time I take him there he suddenly gets them? Would not recommend. read more

I took my mini bulldog here for a bath and nail trim. I come in to pick her up well past the time they told me and she was not even started yet. I walk in and check on her and went back to my car. They thought I left I come back in and the lady was yelling at my dog to sit. Pretty much screaming at her. She was probably scared. They seen me and stop yelling and come tell me they can't cut her nails because she won't sit. She doesn't bite growl act aggressive in any way. All they had to do was hold her and have someone cut her nails. They just didn't want to be bothered. I would never take my dog here. read more

Once I found them, I knew this was the place to trust with my pups. They are always very kind & patient with my dogs , who are sometimes very anxious when they arrive to be groomed. Took my crazy Lucy at the spare of the moment for a quick nail trimming. She is a freak and needs to be muzzled and panics at the least little thing! This groomer was very sweet and very nice to my crazy Lucy. Plus to add to the whole thing it was only $5 for a nail trim!! How can you beat that!! Make sure you tip your groomer! This place is in a dumpy strip mall so just try to look past that! I'll definitely be back! read more

I really like this groomer! The owner is so sweet and you can tell she really loves animals and is very patient. My dog has always been really nervous to go to a groomer but I feel so comfortable bringing him to her because I see how patient and kind she is. I always love the cuts she gives him. She charges the same rates as all the other groomers, but I really feel her grooms are worth the money. I've been to pretty much every other groomer in Bolingbrook and was never 100% pleased. Showed up for appointment an because my dog was barking they lady running the place told me her neighbors complain about barking dogs an I said well hunny your a groomer!? An told me she would be 40 mins because my dog barks .it takes me 40 mins to wash her like we're you really gonna send her out wet? Needless to say my dog came home with me an I will never be back. When I went to pick up my dog on 10/20/18 I was handing the girl my credit card to pay & she rudely started tapping the glass counter telling me cash only. As a first time customer (and last) I should have been told this, oh maybe at the time I booked the appointment, when I dropped off my dog or maybe a big sign on the wall. The place smelled like pee from the minute you open the door. Also the animals & groomers are behind a big wall, people want to see their pets to make sure they are being taken care of. I do have to say they fit me in last minute for a full service groom for my 26lb dirty cocker spaniel and he smelled quite lovely after, but that's where the compliments stop. When I called and asked for the price they said $50 (our usual groomer chargers $42, but it was last minute) however, when I picked him up she told me $55, saying the change by the pound. Well, there's your tip lady. When I got home I noticed they was blood on my leather car seats. They cut my dog's nail too low and he was bleeding. My poor puppy! I know mistakes happen, but how did they not notice that? I my opinion they did and just didn't tell me. Luckily, the seats were leather and not cloth and it just wiped off. My dog is fine, but I will never take him there again. read more

I recently switched to this groomer from another local business. The interior is clean and does not have that "wet dog smell" that I detect at nearly every other groomer. There were no other barking dogs which tend to stress out my dog. The service was fast (less than 2 hours for my small terrier) and the results were very nice. I will be going back. read more
