Love this spot near Seattle Center for a snack or brunch when we have our dog with us. They do little pup cups and have outdoor seating. Got some drinks and a quiche. Didn't love the quiche honestly as it kinda looked and tasted more like a frittata but everything else was lovely. I like their bakery too. The servers were kind and efficient like usual. Definitely recommend!

Our second time here. I had the drip and my wife had the mocha, extra foam . The coffees were good. We had 2 breakfast pastries. They were little dry, definitely not the best. Nice background music. Interior quite spacious, with outdoor seating. The decor is simple, modern and sleek. One tired looking, hardworking barista. Nice quiet, place to have coffee next to Climate Pledge.

Sugar Bakery is located within walking distance of several Seattle landmarks! I opted to try their pandan iced latte with oat milk. The espresso was strong, and the pandan syrup was great! It didn't have an artificial taste, and had a mildly sweet flavor. It mixed well with the espresso. The caprese sandwich, which I got toasted, was delicious primarily because of the bread! The focaccia tasted fresh and was soft. It didn't take too long for me to get my order as it was relatively quiet for a Wednesday morning. The barista was friendly and actually recommended the pandan latte to me! The cafe is large and had lots of tables available. Overall, Sugar Bakery was a nice, chill cafe to sip coffee and enjoy delicious sandwiches and other pastries.

Went on a Sunday morning for coffee and pastries. There was a small line, but the ham and cheese croissants were sold out before it's my turn! I ordered a regular latte which was on point. There are other specialty drinks too (see picture). The Havarti croissant was great too for anyone who enjoys a savory breakfast. There are plenty of seating, and it was overall nice and quiet. I can see people going there to work.

Absolutely loved this coffee shop! The decor is so cute inside and they have a bunch of art and stuff on display. It was nice and toasty in there and lots of seating. I got the iced gingerbread white mocha which was so good and I really enjoyed it, and my friend got an almond latte. Really good flavors and nice sweetness. The service was really nice too, staff were friendly and they brought our drinks to our table. We also got the confetti cake slice to go and it might be the best cake I've ever had in my life (not an exaggeration)!! I loved the sweetness and how light and airy it was. It was so comfortable to eat and I just kept wanting more. It was also perfectly sweet but not in the way that some cake sugar sticks in your mouth. This felt like a high quality cake and the sugar would disappear with each bite. I can't wait to go again whenever I'm back in Seattle!

This is like one of the only coffees i've had in seattle where they actually had a good making of a latte. The espresso was good, not my type but that's just my bias. The service was alright, i wasn't ready and they looked at me like i was crazy. It's cute in there, a lot of art and pretty things. They have a lot of options, especially for pastry's. It was really clean and felt put together.

We came back two days in a row as it was super close to our hotel. Everything we tried was delicious! When we stopped by both days a lot of the pastry case had been cleared out, so we knew it was quite popular, but for good reason! We tried the mocha, pandan latte, iced tea, chocolate croissant, vegetarian breakfast croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and the red velvet cake over our two visits. All of them were amazing, so delicious! The cafe space is warm and inviting, and looks like a spot you could easily spend a few hours in. Service was fast and friendly. We hope to be back next time we visit!

Came here on Mother's Day and it wasn't busy at all. No line and an ample amount of seating both indoor and outdoor. I ordered a Powerpuff latte (cardamom and caramel) and a jam scone warmed up. The staff was very friendly taking my order and calling out my order when it was ready. The space is very large with high ceilings, the counter centering the space and seats surrounding it. The music wasn't loud enough in my opinion, it seemed pretty quiet for such a large space. Great spot for a coffee and pastry. It is a bit expensive unfortunately. The latte being over $7 (no alternatives). I'd come back to try some of the other bakery items for sure.

The bakers can be inconsistent sometimes but overall good pastries and good coffee. I don't like how the food/drink pick up is on the far side from most of the seating. Staff is personable and I have developed good relationships with most the baristas here over the years. Awesome ambience right outside the space needle.

Stopped by to kill time while waiting for our table at another restaurant. My friends and I shared a red velvet cake, which was dry and not overwhelmingly sweet. The barista who created the Mexican hot chocoatewas so nice! He gave my party a free sample of his Mexican hot chocolate and it was super good! We also got three teas and I love how they come in individual brewers. So cute :). Great quality tea and awesome service. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Seattle. read more

I have lived in lower Queen Anne for about two months and Sugar Bakery immediately became my go to spot. The people there are always exceptionally friendly and the service is fast (at least for coffee and pastries -I've never ordered food there). It is always relatively quiet even when it's crowded, but not in an uncomfortable way that makes you want to lower your voice. It definitely gets busy but I've never had to wait for a seat. They also have outdoor seating where lots of people like to bring their dogs! And the coffee and pastries are phenomenal! To sum up: delicious coffee, wonderful people, and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend to anyone in the neighborhood!! read more

I absolutely LOVE this place! They have a huge selection of pastries and a few sandwiches to choose from. They also have speciality coffee drinks. The lavender latte is my fave! The space is clean, bright, and airy, and they have some cool artwork. The customer service has always been friendly and prompt. I try to hit this place up at least once a week. read more

I didn't have a pastry- which may have knocked my review out of the park. They did look tasty- so give them a shot. I ordered a mocha with soy, it was a bit pricey but was good. Four of us went in at once (all with a specialty order) and they were fairly quick with the orders. Inside is cute. It was pretty quiet early on a Wednesday morning. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday morning for a quick breakfast and coffee. The interior is really spacious, has great natural lighting, and a really cool looking wall design! Looks like a great place to meet up with friends or sit down and do some work. Their turkey and swiss croissant was delicious and so flaky and crispy. My little family of four (myself, husband, baby, dog) made a stop every morning on our walk at Craftworks for our morning vice. We were usually the first customers and the baristas were so cheerful and sweet. The coffee is delicious. My favorite on a warm summer afternoon is the coffee and tonic. Got the Chelelektu, Ethiopia pour over. Dark, earthy, with a hint of nuts and sweetness from the dark chocolate. Smooth and not very acidic. Staff was super friendly and informative. I love this place. I originally stumbled upon it when a friend and I were on our way to the bus stop from Seattle Center and needed to use the restroom and grab a snack. I was completely intrigued by the chocolate chip bacon cookie...it may sound weird but it's delicious. I have since returned a few times. I have a dog sitting client that lives near by and found out that this shop is dog friendly, so this is my coffee and breakfast pastry stop on our weekend morning walks. Their croissants are yummy and I really love their biscuits. The flavors rotate, but the one with pepper jack cheese is amazing! read more

Walking into this place, it's very clean and has a minimalistic interior design. The barista was friendly. I got the London Fog and it's not the best I've tasted. I wish it had more of the earl grey tea flavor because the flavors that mostly came through were the sweetener and vanilla. Maybe they just use vanilla syrup. I also got the chocolate chip cookie because it was one of the half-priced day-old baked goods. If you like flat chewy cookies with a lot of chocolate chips, this cookie is for you. This place is fantastic. From the design, to the atmosphere, to the attention to detail in the way your espresso sits on the tray. I rarely get any of the baked goods (a little pricy for my blood, though I'm sure it's fair) but the coffee and the environment make this an almost daily stop on my way to work. In addition, the baristas, so far, have been great. Friendly and efficient. Thumbs up. read more

Fav coffee shop of my neighborhood. The coffee is always wonderful and they have a good variety of pastries and savories. Sleek, minimal ambience. I often end up eating breakfast or lunch here. Love the fact that they have boardgames too. The place has stiff competition with Cafe Morzocco right across the street. It still meets the expectations. read more

In from Colorado! Seattle has the notoriety of being "THE" coffee city ... so what's with not being able to find a coffee shop that is open late? Did the best I could with Yelp and Google and found this place open till 10. Got here at 8pm. Needed a place - fast - to get on the internet and get some work done tonight. Three of us here now- and the pastry and coffees are AMAZING. I'm still going to be in town tomorrow... so probably will be coming back early! Thanks so much! read more

I had been to Craftworks a few times for coffee or tea, and enjoyed it, but usually found myself drawn over to KEXP for espresso when in the area. But the addition of Sugar's delicious pastries has now turned the tables! That almond croissant last week was the best I've ever had, and the chocolate one this morning was no slouch either. This is going to be my new favorite coffee shop. Before I walked in, I was having a morning that was quickly amounting to a terrible day. After I had my favorite latte- vanilla and honey- my day completely transformed! The latte was expertly made! I have this latte in dozens of areas in Seattle and this was hands down the best. The milk had a wonderful caramelization and the texture was a perfect velvet. It had just enough sweetness to not overtake the flavor of the coffee- something many baristas usually butcher. And when I walked in, the barista had actually remembered me from the last time I visited nearly a month ago! He was fantastic and I wish I had gotten his name to give credit where credit is due. The atmosphere here is perfect. It's filled with people either studying or working on their computers-always a good sign when more people choose to sit than order to go! I will definitely come here more often as now I'm addicted to that quality! Come here and you won't be disappointed! read more

This place is great but I'm not really writing this review to say how good the coffee or pastries but the service. The baristas are great. I forgot to ask for a non dairy substitute in my latte and when I went back to get a new one they made a new one with soy and didn't charge! This place has transformed after adding bakery selection! Fantastic coffee paired with great bakes (both savory and sweet) in a relaxing yet chic ambience. We ordered the nitro brew, turkey croissant, bagel, and blueberry danish. Each item was perfect. Definitely coming here again on weekends. read more

It's more like a little dessert stand located on the restaurant's patio area, with only a few outdoor tables available. The soft serve was okay, but not as creamy as I was hoping for, and it melted pretty quickly. If you decide to add a syrup flavor, I'd recommend asking for only a small amount. Mine came absolutely drowning in syrup, and honestly, the flavor tasted pretty artificial and overpowering.

The matcha tiramisu was the best I've had, and the hojicha latte with oat milk was just right. The flavor was nice and strong without being overpowering. Everything I had here truly stood out! I liked the variety on the menu and all of the different options. - it's extensive and you could find anything for everyone. It's one of the more memorable matcha spots I've been to, and I'd definitely stop by again the next time I'm in Seattle. If you love matcha like I do, definitely add this place to your list. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Old Stove serves them with a savory watermelon sauce in addition to a traditional cocktail sauce--eaten together, it's a flavor explosion that I can't quite describe. We also enjoyed the garlic everything fries, which were delicious! We just had to try a flight to sample the brews. There are some really good beers available here, especially the Belgian blonde, citra pale ale, and the stout. I did not really care for the seasonal sour (grapefruit, I think)--to me, it just tasted like a sour and nothing more, but someone with more interest in sour beers would probably enjoy it just fine. Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. Overall, Old Stove Brewing is the perfect combo of good location, good food, and good beer. Definitely recommend a visit when in the Pike Place area!
