We had a reservation pre-booked a week in advance for 7pm. We checked in at 6:50pm and were told to wait in the lounge where is was overly packed and crammed with people. We waited inside the packed until 7:40 until we were asked to move and wait in the next room where all of the Tappenyaki tables are. We stood and waited an additional 10 minutes for the waiter to seat us with the other parties. If a reservation is booked in advance then the customers EXPECT to be seated at the table at-least 5-10 mins after reservation time. I understand things get busy but having customers who BOOKED reservations a week in advance wait 50 minutes AFTER their reserved time is ridiculous and bad for business. As pricey as food and drinks were, the experience was frustrating. The food was nothing special, drinks were nothing special. We will not be coming here again. read more

We show up 20 minutes later and are told the next availability isn't for 1-2 hours. I really had high expectations for a wonderful celebration dinner for a big traditional NY Steak Strip and Lobster Tail in a shell ,however, ordering it from a Teppanyaki place was a big mistake. I had made a reservation for a separate table along the window FOR A VIEW (and with the high rates of flu going around I didn't want to sit with other people.) So I thought ordering from the non-teppanyaki menu would be OK but since it wasn't listed I had to ask the Manager if it was possible to get just the steak and lobster and adjust the price. Well they agreed to the first request but didn't lower the price of $74.00 for a $30.00 meal .When my dinner arrived the portion of the steak and lobster were ridiculously small portions. I counted 10 small cubes of steak and pieces of a cut-up lobster no bigger than a LARGE shrimp. In retrospect I should have returned it and ordered the Bento Box that my wife ordered but her meal was also disappointing. She ordered the Salmon which included three small dry pieces of Salmon, the dressing on the salad was horrible and the Gyoza was too spicy. The only good part of this expensive dinner was the fried rice, thus the 1 star rating. I felt ripped off compared to eating at all the other six Teppanyaki places in Fresno & Clovis near here, especially for the high prices .C'est la vie ! I came here for my bachelor party and then had to bring my wife and kids here. That's how good it was. First off, definitely good for a first date, for the family, and of course bachelor/bachelorette party. The bar with is small but the waiting area makes up for it and then the view is the cherry on top. The attentive servers will call your party's name and will take you to your cook station where you will be greeted by the teppan chef. You'll get your menu and you'll see all of the sushi options and Teppanyaki choices. The two times that I've been here I picked the seafood option which gives you shrimp, scallop, and Chilean sea bass. I can tell you that this is the best option because I've gotten it both times that I've been here. I can tell you that the other options are not disappointing either because everyone that I have been here with enjoyed their choices immensely. Do yourself a favor come enjoy the ambiance. We had a reservation for 7 on a Tuesday at 6:45pm but arrived late at 7pm. There's the parking garage and a decent sized parking lot outside that is walkable to the casino. We had to check in on the bottom floor and then they sent us to the 12th floor. We just waited for a few minutes before someone came up to the front to ensure all the party was present before bringing us back to a teppanyaki room/table. It was a slower night for them. Our chef Xim was amazing, personable, and cracked everyone up. Everyone had a great time. I personally liked how the fried rice wasn't too buttery/garlicky compared to other teppanyaki places. Chill place and ambiance but the service absolutely sucks, the food is disgusting, not worth that price tag at all. Go get real wagyu elsewhere at way better Teppanyaki spots. We visited this past weekend, we didn't decide on it until two days prior and we're unable to make reservations...however upon stopping by their check in I found out that reservations were only for teppanyaki and table dining/sushi bar was readily available as walk-in. This was perfect as you could still order teppanyaki and to be honest I prefer this as table-side cooking always feels a bit rushed, we've done it plenty of times and the show doesn't change much! We opted for the sushi bar which was directly behind a teppanyaki table so we still could check out the show if we wanted to but our sushi chefs were so enthusiastic that we were glad we skipped teppanyaki. The views are fabulous and there's a great lounge area in the back of the restaurant where you can enjoy pre or post dinner drinks and a view. This was a great little area that we enjoyed especially the balcony. Drinks: the bar is more of a mobile bar not a full service but they had tons of liquor options and some wine. I had their lychee martini which was good but a tad sweet for me. My husband had an old fashioned that he really enjoyed. Food we ordered: the calamari - 6.5/10 smaller pieces but good just not memorable but a good portion. The sushi- 9/10 - I love when we can describe what we like and our chef runs with it. That is exactly what happened, they don't have an extensive menu but he gave us something we loved. Teppanyaki- 5/10 we shared the lobster and steak dinner. It was $53 and came with a fried rice, salad, soup, and ice cream. The portions we great and the staff was wondering to give us an extra soup and salad! The dinner was okay but it was not as good as most other tepan dinners in town. Lacking in flavor but salty. Overall the service and sushi was great. We were so worried we'd be late for our reservation because we hit heavy traffic. We arrived and were escorted to the bar-ish area. We waited quite a long time to be seated and they were not very busy. Good cocktails. Views are amazing. We unfortunately got the worst seats. Backs against the beautiful view. Smoke from the cooking directly blowing in my face the entire time. Very uncomfortable. Soup served and not very good. Would have preferred miso soup. This was a very salty beef broth with a mushroom floating on top. Salad was fine but I didn't like the overly salty dressing. Next I had salmon sashimi that was great. Had a baked mussel from the appetizer my mom ordered. It was good but really hard to remove from the shell. Servers were not attentive. Had to flag them down and ask if they could remove used dishes or to refill a drink. Teppanyaki chef was a nice guy. Young. A little quiet but he cooked our food perfectly. My crab and steak was delicious. At one point he caught his shoulder on fire! He kept performing. I hope he wasn't injured. Dessert was mochi. Sushi Chef Jarret, I believe that was his name, provided to my party and me one of the best customer service I've had in a long time! He's super nice and knows his fish! I had the XXX roll and Pacifica Roll. The sushi was on point! Super fresh and well refrigerated. Hands down one of the better sushi in town! Reservations were made for 6:30pm, for which we arrived about 10 minutes before, and still had to wait 27 minutes to be seated. One of the reasons we reserved was due to the fact that the 12th restaurant had great views, however we got seated to views of the casino rooftop although there was at least 4-6 empty tables at the opposite view window. We ordered the dinner for 2, the steak was over cooked (which they correct after the fact), chicken was a bit on the dryer side and the fried riced lacked flavor.
