One of our most memorable bites was the A5 wagyu. It's grilled on a Japanese charcoal which added a nice smokey flavor to the juicy pieces of wagyu. The kisu tempura was also very delicious and as always, the nigiri's were *chefs kiss*. Each piece of nigiri was perfectly seasoned and incredibly well balanced. If you haven't tried Hiroshi yet, you're definitely missing out. Highly recommend trying Hiroshi at least once if you like omakase. My husband and I are already looking forward to our next visit.

Note that their menu changes based on availability, so it won't be the same each time you go. Service was welcoming and pleasant, and each items were fresh and well-prepared. My party of 5 ordered an assortment of items ranging from the…read more3 item bento (chicken teriyaki, sashimi, mixed tempura), teppan sizzling plate with prawns, chicken karaage, agedashi tofu, and Kakaroto sushi sashimi combo. I feel like the value here is pretty good, especially considering the 3 item bento is only $20.95 which is the cost of a 2 item bento at many other Japanese restaurants. The quality, on the other hand, was just ok. Chicken teriyaki was on the stringy side, sashimi didn't feel super fresh, batter on chicken karaage was soggy (though chicken itself was juicy), and the rolls in the Kakaroto sushi sashimi combo were hot which half-cooked the sashimi which was not great. They also used the same teriyaki sauce on many dishes, including the rolls, the teppan sizzling plate, and even the dipping sauce for the chicken karaage. Didn't feel like the teriyaki sauce for chicken karaage was fitting since it usually comes with a kewpie mayo instead. The prawns in the teppan sizzling plate were also clearly from frozen shrimp and weren't fresh at all. Overall I think the quality was a bit of a miss. Service was friendly though and food came quickly. Miso soups did arrive at different times and we had to request missing ones as they were forgotten.

I was greeted when I walked in and was attended to immediately. The interior is welcoming and you walk into restaurant with the chefs preparing the sushi to the left and seating in front of them and several tables. There is no outside seating. Not only was the portion small but the shrimp part was tiny, it was mostly rice and not very tasty. The Miso Soup was hot and satisfying. It cost $2.99 You have to ask for utensils, they do not provide automatically and I appreciate that. I might give this another try if I am in the area but I would prefer to check out other sushi places and see how the quantity and prices compare.

We also ordered the Udon Meshi, which was good, but the other items shined. Service was great. Granted, we were the first in the door, but we were greeted by multiple wait staff and water level was always kept above half. The restaurant itself has great ambiance. Tables that seat many people comfortable and some tables that allow for a more romantic setting. Parking may get tricky, but a worthy spot to visit.
