Came in on a Thursday evening on our way to Las Vegas. There was only 1 couple at the bar and 1 family in the booth. And we decided to sit in a booth. I ordered the tiger roll-- absolutely loved it!! (Just had a little too much of the spicy mayo sauce, but you can always just pick it off!) Bf ordered the dragon roll and he loved it as well. Completely satisfied bellies and we were on our way! Please turn around and go somewhere else. Waited for 30min on the table to get noticed and took our orders. They kept saying they are short staffed but they are not. They just dont know what to do. After reopening- they gone nothing but downhill. I rather go to omakase off the sierra and 210 so much better. Their quality of tuna. Salmon is a joke. This is regarding an order placed through DoorDash - I am writing a complaint! I received an email after my order was placed & I did not see this email until later on in the night when I was checking my email. Why was I not informed of this extra charge of $.30 through a notification on DoorDash rather than receiving an email that was sent??? Or the restaurant could have called me and notified me of this charge. I was charged extra for specific instructions I included in my three items combo which included steak teriyaki, shrimp and vegetable tempura, and spicy tuna sushi. My specific instructions were that I asked for extra wasabi and soy sauce on the side. The other items included in my order were albacore roll and tuna sushi. When I received my order, they did not even give me extra soy sauce or wasabi. I got three packets of soy sauce and two packets of wasabi of which was not even enough for my order. If there is going to be a charge DoorDash and the restaurant must be transparent when I place my final order so that I am aware of what I am paying for. These hidden fees are inappropriate and misleading. Due to the extra charge of the extra soy sauce and wasabi (that I didn't even get), I ended up having three charges on my account. Although the money was put back in my account, these charges are unnecessary! read more

I have had them before a few years ago and didn't like it. But I gave them another try and I have placed orders with them (did three orders before finally giving up) and the sushi is just horrible. Very messy, very thick, do not taste any flavor of the fish. It's just sorry. If you are a real sushi fan looking for excellent quality of fish, please do not come here. My son graduated from 5th grade and he wanted to have sushi to celebrate his promotion. We were there 30 minutes after the business opened for the day. We were greeted by the chefs behind the counter, a lady showed us to our seats, we ordered dragon rolls, my son loved it. My little one ordered taki maki and she too love her food just the right size for them to eat. Hubby and I had bento boxes and it was good the sashimi were fresh and tasty. I love sushi, but I had a hankering for steak teriyaki and tempura. My usual spot was going to be 1 1/2 hours so I decided to try Summa Sushi. The woman that answered the phone was so nice and took all my requests with kindness. I got there and got my food quickly...and it was so yummy! Hard to keep the tempura warm and crunchy, but it was awesome! I asked for my steak teriyaki medium rare and even though the pieces are not thick, it was cooked perfectly - and very tasty!! I was wary of this place because I'm kind of a sushi snob, but it's close to my boyfriend's place and I had been craving sushi, so we both figured it was high time we went. I am pleased to say I was actually not disappointed! During our first visit we got entirely too much food. I am notorious for having eyes bigger than my stomach, so this was my fault (oops). I can't remember the names of the rolls we ordered (will update), but we had one crunch roll and another roll with salmon and lemon slices, the insides of which were both similar. I also ordered the seared albacore sashimi with the crispy onion because I love sashimi and anything onion--fresh breath be damned--and he ordered the two item combo with chicken teriyaki and spicy tuna rolls. The first two rolls were both good, but since they were pretty similar we got sick of them after a while (portions were big!). It was a struggle to finish. I loved the sashimi. I basically ate it all. The ponzu (?) sauce went really well with it. My BF liked his combo and he can't handle spicy food that well, but he said the spicy tuna was just right in terms of spice level. I tasted the fried rice with his entree and it was really good. [I'm also a fried rice snob because it's one of my comfort foods. The flavor was delicious.] He had a lot leftover, so I can definitely say they don't skimp on the portions. On another visit, my BF got the same two item combo. He said this time around the spicy tuna was spicier than the last. I tried it and it did taste spicier, but I also thought it tasted more like the ones I've had at other places. As for me, I ordered a roll that was similar to the sashimi I had gotten the first time. That was also just as tasty. I would order it again. Service is super fast, it's almost like they already know what you're going to order, and they check on you multiple times throughout your meal, which I appreciate. I do recommend going here. I was told it's still a soft opening currently, and that they haven't officially had their grand opening yet because of training, etc, so I can excuse some of the wait. Not a big deal. Sad disgrace , nasty rotten garbage, served on broken dirty plates, crusty brown wasabi, rolls are prepared by amateurs with no dignity for the food they serve or respect for customers. The rolls are loose and sloppy wet and with rotten fish that taste dirty and moldy. Don't expect to get what you ordered cause they leave out ingredients listed and it will not look anything like what you ordered. I ordered a Sake a beer and a water. Never got my beer and water. This is the best sushi restaurant by far because they have great service and when I ordered the California roll it came out less than 5 minutes that quick and I also got a beef bowl but that took over 10-15 minutes but it was worth it and the decor is amazing.
