I've had takeout and eaten in at this restaurant and I keep coming back. There's a small parking lot behind/next to the restaurant-lots of turnover in the lot so there will be parking. Food here is great! The most recent time I came here I got the nem nuong rolls and com tam. I personally think the nem nuong rolls here are better than the ones in brodard chateau. Com tam is really flavorful too and the portions are generous-definitely had some leftover. Wait staff here is attentive and patient. They speak both Vietnamese and English.

Banh beo!!! soooo good! I thought the grill pork spring rolls were decent but I feel like it's missing the oomph factor. Service was great, they checked in on us and made sure we were good.

Delicious Vietnamese food and portions are great. Service is excellent and ambiance is relaxed.

Great Vietnamese food and surprisingly good customers service from a Vietnamese restaurant. They are generous with the beef for the bun Bo hue. Their banh xeo is almost too stuffed with bean sprouts and pork. Their banh beo is also one of the best in SGV.

Service was very friendly here. The ambiance was nice as well, I liked the tables they had set up - there were set ups for large parties and also some bench style seating. It was a clean, quiet atmosphere. I enjoyed the food very much. The banh beo is a must order!

OC has Brodard but the 626 has Summer Rolls! I highly recommend the pork summer rolls with shrimp egg rolls and the charbroiled sliced pork summer rolls. The shrimp egg roll tucked inside each spring roll gives it the perfect crunch! They are my go-to spot for party platters and catering events.

I have visited this Vietnamese restaurant for lunch a few times, the food is very good, they specialize in different spring rolls, but they also offer the usual pho and dry noodles rice dishes. This restaurant is easier to get a table than the one in Temple City just due to the numbers of people going put to dinner on that mall. The Summer Rolls restaurants offer northern Vietnamese specialties like nem (fermented pork), banh xeo, and banh beo, alongside staples like vermicelli bowls, banh mi, and Vietnamese iced coffee, with vegetarian options. You can come here with your friends or come here to eat by yourself, as I have observed others coming here for a quick meal during a lunch break. The wait staff are nice, and the way you pay is to go to the cash register. If you want to have dessert, they do have a few bean/jelly/coconut milk desserts, plus there is also a Paris Baguette next door if you want a pastry, and an Old Ferry Donut shop a few doors away. There is parking at this outdoor mall and also around the corner, but parking can get packed during meal times. You can also go and get a nice milk tea at the Half and Half Good Old Time Restaurant (Taiwanese) at the same mall, plus there is also a Korean Bon Chon Restaurant, Bay Poke, a Japanese sando shop, Korean Yuk Dae Jang, the Hong Kong "Phoenix" Restaurant, so there are a lot of choices to rest for a party having a picky eater. For lunch, I had a special order of cha gio (deep fried Vietnamese egg rolls) and a banh xeo, which was a crispy crepe with veggies and some seafood. The dishes were tasty and delicious, this place was my choice for a quick lunch when I was going out by myself. You won't be disappointed at the food if you try this restaurant out.

Summer Rolls has been a staple around Rosemead/Temple City. Been here many times and though I've only really been here once to sit-in, I've always ordered to-go here. The good thing about eating here is that they actually serve alcohol so it's nice to enjoy your spring roll or com tam with a beer. Place is very modern with seating areas outside as well to enjoy the breeze. Service. is great here as they're always nice and welcoming as you walk in. Their spring rolls are probably their go-to here. Plenty of options for spring rolls and I'd say their best one is their charbroiled pork that's portioned nicely. Make sure to add some spice into the orange sauce and together with the spring roll makes a great taste.

We love nem cuốn since we discovered it when I lived in Sacramento. I have been trying to find something similar. We came for dinner Monday evening around 530 to find that it was a bit busy. The parking lot is small and we had to find street parking. We waited 10 minutes and were seated. Decor is nice and welcoming. Two unisex restrooms in the back. fried shrimp rolls for the kiddo - we thought it would be more filling but just a small amount of shrimp. A bit oily. An order of both the pork and the shrimp summer rolls. OMG the orange sauce is what I have been looking for! It was so savory and delicious I felt like I can just drink it. Unfortunately, we suspect they use a good amount of MSG so we were really thirsty later. We also got a bun with a variety of items. The bun was well made and filled with toppings. Service was standard. They did give us plates so we can share all the food.

I really like the Cuốn Nem Nướng với Cha Ram Tôm here!! Tried it once and had to come back. I recommend eating it relatively soon after getting it so that the Cha Ram Tom stays crispy. My friend ordered the Bun Bo Hue and said she liked it. She just wished that it was a little spicier (she has very low spice tolerance). I didn't try it so I can't speak to it. We came here on a Sunday at 11am and were seated immediately. It looked like the restaurant had plenty of seating. They have their own parking lot, which is convenient. Try not to get confused by the In-n-Out parking lot, which is right next door.

Oh my! I've had this place on the radar and traveled a bit to finally check it off my list to try! I can say that I am super happy that I finally came to check it out! We came around 1pm on a Saturday and was surprised that we got a table right away. Dining room was busy the entire time we were there and people shuffled in and out. Everything we ate was delicious!! The nem nuong rolls were so good -- each roll had a generous piece of nem nuong with that perfect smoky-sweet flavor. You can tell they don't skimp on the good stuff here. Every bite had a great balance of herbs, noodles, and that delicious grilled pork. The bun bo hue was a huge bowl of comfort. The broth was deeply flavorful with just the right amount of spice, and it came loaded with big, meaty pork feet and pork blood that made it feel extra hearty and authentic. Definitely one of those dishes that warms your soul. We also tried the banh beo. The flour mixture was a little on the thicker side, but it was still really tasty--especially with those crispy little pieces of pork fat on top that add such a great savory crunch. On top of the food, the service was friendly and attentive, which always makes the experience even better. All in all, a great meal and I can't wait to come back and start working my way through the rest of the menu.

Was visiting a friend in the area and craving Vietnamese food. There is a lot variety on the menu. Every dish was full of flavor and reasonably priced. My favorites were the spring rolls and the bánh bèo. They were fresh and delicious. It's a very casual spot, perfect for grabbing lunch with friends. It felt like a mom and pop shop. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Definitely a great find if you're in the area!

Lovely restaurant with very tasty food. Comfortable atmosphere inside and friendly safe. Good AC thank goodness for the summer heat. Good parking spaces as well. Across from a high school so might want to avoid during end of school day hours. I'm just working in the area so I'll be back and would recommend. It's always encouraging to eat at an Asian restaurant that has a bunch of Asians eating in there too.

Three Years Later... The OG Flavor Is STILL OG!…read more Haven't been back to this spot in over THREE years! After hearing they went through a whole trial of new ownership and are now back with the original ownership, I figured it was finally time to come back and see if the OG still had it... and spoiler alert: THEY DO. #27 Hủ Tiếu Mì Nam Vang (Khô Hay Nước) -- 9.5/10 | $16.99 #30 Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả Cua Trứng Muối, Tàu Hủ Ky -- 8/10 | $14.99 Let's start with the reason I came back... #27 Hủ Tiếu Mì Nam Vang -- 9.5/10 | $16.99 This is hands down one of my favorite dishes from here YEARS ago, and I was honestly nervous it wouldn't taste the same after being gone for so long. But WOW... it still hits! I ordered the special egg noodle + clear noodle combination, and you get the option of dry or soup-based. I went with the dry version because that's where the magic happens! The noodles sit over their special sauce at the bottom, so once you mix everything together, every single strand gets coated in that sweet, savory goodness. It comes loaded with a delicious mix of meats, plus a side of fresh veggies and a pork bone soup for dipping or sipping alongside. The broth was hot, flavorful, and comforting, while the noodles had that perfect texture. And somehow... after THREE YEARS, it tastes the same--if not BETTER. This is clearly one of the dishes they're known for, and I completely understand why. 10/10, no notes. This bowl alone was worth the drive back! #30 Cơm Tấm Sườn Bì Chả Cua Trứng Muối, Tàu Hủ Ky -- 8/10 | $14.99 Hubby went with the broken rice dish, which came with a pork chop, shredded pork skin, steamed egg with salted egg yolk, and tàu hủ ky, plus a side of soup. I actually really enjoyed how simple and comforting this dish was. The pork chop was nicely done, and the shredded pork skin added a good texture. The only thing that threw me off was the salted egg yolk--it was VERY subtle and honestly didn't have much flavor at all. I was expecting that salty, rich egg-yolk punch, but she was definitely playing shy. Still a solid dish overall and came with a nice little bowl of soup on the side. And can we talk about the renovation?! After three years, I walked in and was like... EXCUSE ME, WHO IS SHE?! The restaurant has been completely renovated and has such a much nicer, modern ambience compared to what I remember from years ago. It feels fresh, clean, and welcoming while somehow still keeping that familiar feeling of the OG spot. Service: Super quick! We were seated immediately around 5:30 PM, and our food came out in less than 8 minutes. Everything arrived hot, fresh, and ready to eat. Honestly, I'm SO glad I gave this place another try. Sometimes you leave a restaurant for years and come back wondering if the food will still live up to the memories... and this one absolutely did. If anything, the OG ownership coming back may have been exactly what this place needed. I already know what I'm ordering next time because that #27 is officially BACK on my rotation! Happy Eats!

The broth is perfectly seasoned and really ties the whole bowl together. I always ask to skip the blood cubes and opt for extra pig's feet instead, which they handle perfectly. The ratio of tender meat to fresh vegetables balances the noodles beautifully, and the satay is an absolute must-add to hit that savory umami flavor profile. All in all, I have no complaints. It's an incredibly satisfying meal, especially after a long night out with friends.

Pretty Trang tasty. Get it?!…read more Today, I stopped by for a Bon Rieu, Nem Cuom, and a House Special iced tea. Service: Service was short and the entire wait took 5 minutes. That's right, 5 minutes. Although I did go around 9:50AM so there wasn't a line nor another party in the dining area. Food: I woke up craving Vietnamese and this place didn't disappoint. The Bon Rieu had the depth of flavor that I crave. Honestly, I judge most Vietnamese pho restaurants by their Bon Rieu because some places simply use seafood powder in their stock to fake it. What results is a very thinly flavored broth that has very little umami. Bon Rieu should have THE MOST umami of any soup dish because of its tomato and crab base. That's how you can tell if a place is cutting corners. The Nem Cuom is huge and the dipping sauce is generous. The House Special Tea is reminiscent of a passion fruit green tea from a boba place. Sweetened just enough to not be saccharine. Ambiance: Quite small. I believe one of their main issues may be parking during peak hours as it shares a tiny parking lot with many other businesses. HOWEVER, neighborhood parking is plentiful and just around the corner past the Sheridan Hotel and Starbucks. Round the corner and you'll find plenty of parking throughout the day.

Typical service I expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. As for the food, I ordered too much. I ended up taking a bunch home, mostly the rolls. I don't like soup to go. Noodles would have gotten too soggy ... But I enjoyed it to the point I know I'll go back. The broth hit me on the first sip. It felt like a punch of flavor that woke up my taste buds in a really good way. I took several sips before putting my Pho together to start eating. We have 10 people ahead of us when we got there. If possible, sign up for the Yelp waitlist long before you come during prime hours (if you are able to). We got the bun rieu, the hu tieu, and the pho ga. For the appetizers, we got the spring rolls and the banh beo. We also got one order of com tam to go. Total without tip came out to be $99. We had three people and realistically, that's way too much food. We ended up taking one of the noodle dishes to go and half orders of the spring rolls and banh beo to go as well. However, all very tasty, not too oily which is great! And overall pretty decent lunch. Only downside is the line and to be honest, I would not stand in line for this restaurant but my aunt really wanted to come here for the bun mam. Which also ironically she didn't even get to eat it this time around because they only offer it on Saturdays and Sundays. FYI - Go to the other location on Garvey if you want bun mam. If you're craving cơm tấm (broken rice) and want to customize it exactly the way you like i.e BBQ…read morepork, pork chop, BBQ chicken, beef, or any combination, this is the place for you. I love that you can build your ideal broken rice plate instead of being limited to a preset option. The prices are extremely affordable for the portion sizes. One plate is easily enough for two sittings for me. The staff is also quick and efficient, so even when it's busy, orders come out fast. If you dine in, soup is included with your meal. Great value, generous portions, and satisfying comfort food every time.

We placed a phone order and our food was ready by the time we arrived. 16 Cơm Tấm King Special Combo (10 Items), Chicken $20.99 194. Chè Ba Màu $4.99 Three Color Bean with Shaved Ice Since it was our first time, we decided on the 10 item Cơm Tấm King Special Combo and we most definitely made the right choice. We love the variety and the food! Everything was packed well, great portions, and the flavors were on point. (What more can one ask for?) When they asked if we wanted BBQ beef, pork, or BBQ chicken, we asked them what they suggested, and they mentioned BBQ chicken. We had also grabbed food from other establishments along Valley Blvd, so we only ordered the 1 item along with the Chè Ba Màu. The prices are most definitely welcomed in this day and age and the ingredients are quality. I am thinking about the delicious food as I type this review. There are plenty of seating on the inside, and the service was great. I was greeted as I stepped into the restaurant. Parking is a bit difficult to find, but we were lucky since it was a week day and we were able to find street parking. There is a note on the storefront that customers could park in the Hawaii Supermarket parking lot but that could get packed real fast. Found a new favorite! I am already planning to stop by on my next trip out to SGV.
