    Turnip cake is really good
    Debbie W.

Love this noodle spot. I have been coming here every so often with my family and we have always walked away very satisfied. The servers are all very friendly and also quick to take your order and bring you your food. This is a family run business and you can see how hard everyone in the family works. My usual order is the half egg noodle and half wide rice noodle with seafood and soup on the side. I love their crispy fried shrimp so I also get an extra one of those in my bowl. Ever since I've been coming here as a kid, this has never changed. I can always count on a satisfying bowl of noodles here. Other things we ordered: Turnip cake - 10/10 first time trying this here and it was so good. Would definitely be ordering this again next time I'm back Satay Beef Noodle - my boyfriend ordered this and he thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I wasn't a big fan. The sauce was thick and creamy and was heavy in peanut and satay flavor. Very delicious if you like that flavor though! They have their own parking lot and it has never been difficult to find parking. Would recommend coming during odd hours to avoid the rush as this place does get really busy.

Bars on the windows means the food is going to be EXCELLENT

CASH ONLY! You know a spot is about to be absolute fire when it's cash only and has bars on the windows. We arrived on a rainy day and craved some noodle soup. There were only older Asian folks eating here so yet another good omen. I'm usually not a fan of hu tieu, but my husband loves that style of soup so we humored him and tried Mien Nghia Noodles. Service is quick - don't expect your hand held at any legit Asian restaurant. Know what you want from the menu before calling over an auntie to take your order. I got the shrimp hu tieu with regular rice noodles and my husband got the combo with egg noodles. DO NOT SKIP THE CHINESE DONUT. The broth was beautiful - clear and insanely flavorful with magical oily soup bubbles so you know it was done right. Whoever is saying this soup is bland can F off. This is not a BBH restaurant. The soup was perfection. The donut... my god. Crisp on the outside, NOT OILY, chewy and soft on the inside - what more could you ask for? I was eating the donuts plain because it was that good, but the obvious move is to dip it in your broth and enjoy. Total was $33 for two bowls + donuts. Worth every dollar. I almost want to come back for dinner. 10/10.

I was hoping to have some yummy Hu-Tieu, and this place has great reviews. I ordered #1 and sadly was disappointed. It was really flavorless. I thought maybe I was getting sick and couldn't taste anything, until I saw another lady asking for more sauce, and she told the head waitress that her food was bland. The soup that came with the noodles had more flavor and umami than the noodles. Service was really lacking, which is not surprising in this area. I had to flag down the bus boy for water, since no one was checking in on me. The bus boy demonstrated better customer service than the waitress. Obviously people love this place, and but it was a meh for me.

Kidney was NOT GOOD. It smelled and was overly cooked, tough. All trashed

**tea (hot or cold) is 0.75 cents!** they'll asked if you want iced tea, hot tea or water. Sorry to say, this place is not good at all. They absolutely use the lowest quality protein for their Hu Tieu. From beginning to end, the experience was of full regret. The only thing decent was the egg noodle which was seasoned with a garlicky oily mix but no garlic pieces. The fish cake was hard and probably had no fish in it and same goes with the fish ball. It was a like biting on a flour mix and boiled. The kidney was atrocious, smelly (red flag) and overcooked. It was nothing like the other place (you know which one, KK). On top of it all the lady said Chinese donut? The long fried bread, and we said why not. It was reheated in the toaster to almost burnt and was not fresh. You can see them laying on a tray. The condiments also had no taste, the spicy satay and the sliced chili also flavorless. AC No go. Parking comfortable and spacious inside. 1/3 full on Saturday lunch time. They also charge your tip in one swipe of cc, so there's no adding it later. I doubt the tip goes to the workers and not management by charging it this way. HUGE PASS!

My childhood restaurant. Their food is consistently good! Very good and fast service. The owners are always nice and attentive. The restaurant is not fancy, but it is nice and clean. They do accept credit cards, not cash only. My friends said their 河粉 is better than the one in Hong Kong. That's why they always come here when they are in town. Highly recommended!!!

Very fresh and delicious, fast service, fried Chinese donut was hot and toasty. Good parking options outside and nice size dining room, nothing fancy but the food is what we came for. Broth was very flavorful, wish I could have had a bit more as they gave a lot of noodles. I liked that they also gave extra boiled chives and bean sprouts for noodle toppings. Each bowl average around $15.

Longstanding noodle house with many options and quick service. Plenty of seating but gets busy on weekends. They have their own parking lot, but again that gets full on weekends.

One of my favorite noodles restaurants place to go and satisfy my tummy. Been here for many suns and moons ago...and when Covid hit our world days, outdoor seatings available and social distancing and sanitizers available on each table. They reassure customers with safety measures, along with cleaning up after every customers. That's what family values and importance of customers are to this restaurant. Prioritizing Community awareness in customer relationships and safety.

Saday sauce and beef with rice noodle

Authentic Vietnamese-Chinese noodle spot that truly delivers! The service is friendly and attentive, and the food is bursting with flavor. For appetizers, we ordered the Chinese donut and fried dumplings--both crisp, savory, and a great way to start the meal. For mains, we tried the beef with rice noodles in saday sauce and the Hainan chicken rice. Both were excellent, but the standout for me was definitely the chicken. The meat was tender, juicy, and perfectly paired with the ginger-onion dipping sauce. I've had Hainanese chicken from Chatterbox at the Mandarin Oriental in Singapore, and honestly, this one is just as good--if not better. That says a lot! Highly recommend if you're craving authentic flavors and a satisfying dining experience.

Wanted to do an update, still love the food here. They mentioned that they just started to accept credit cards! Quite nice addition, you would just need to let them know how much tip (if you dining in). The food and most importantly peppers and chili oil, was just as good as before. I usually get the "Mi Wong" which is a combo of the rice and egg noodle, that has bbq pork, shrimp inside. I asked for the dry version but ended up getting the soup version. I still liked it but would have preferred the dry noodle due to the heat. Also enjoyed the ice tea they give, and the Hainan Chicken. Just wished a place like this existed more towards the inland empire. Will be back soon! Until then!

What We Ordered: -#1 Assorted Meat & Shrimp w/Rice Noodles $14 The wife and I were going for a stroll around where we live and we've passed by Mien Nghia Noodle Express on a numerous occasions. We decided to stop in and give it a try. We asked for some recommendations and settled on sharing a bowl of the #1 as we already ate breakfast earlier and weren't so hungry. They were very nice and brought us an additional bowl so we could share the bowl of noodles. My wife really liked this dish! She especially enjoyed the noodles and seafood. The only downside is that broth was a bit salty after we finished everything and we would have drank the broth afterwards, but it was too salty. We decided against it. We would come here again in future!

A hidden gem specializing Chiu chow- style noodles, I was surprised by the variety of items on the menu, and fast service. I ordered the satay beef egg noodle, it was savory, beef was tender, and egg noodles were soft not tough. I paired it with Chinese Donuts, and wow it was light, airy and wonderfully crip. I dipped into the satay broth without getting too soggy. Service was quick, portions were generous. Cant wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

BBQ Pork Noodles. Wide egg noodle. Soup on side. Chinese donuts.

We later just asked for it to just be taken off the bill since we were already done eating and the chow fun still hadn't come. That's when the owner/manager came in and started sweet talking us. We had to take it to go since she no longer had appetite to eat. I am insanely upset and disappointed that they'd dare to yell at us and especially in front of a child for simply asking for an update. We also overheard that the two tables next to us had to also wait a long time for their chow fun/chow mein. The servers were not particularly nice to them either. If there is a wait for a certain dish, please let your customers know . It is absolutely not on them that your kitchen is backed up. I love my community, but this was the most childish staff I've ever encountered. TLDR; workers yelled at us for simply asking where our food is. Horrible service. Tried kissing up to us after they realized their mistake.

The sauce was tangy sweet kind of like teriyaki sauce. It was crispy but still so juicy and soft. HANDS DOWN GET THIS! Portion size lets just say they are generous and we all can EAT ^^, Kakigori (MATCHA) $8/$14. 5/5 Stars - Definite MUST! I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.
