I got the melon matcha and it was recommended 100% sweet but it was too heavy in the melon syrup. It had almost zero matcha flavor. Drink was not blended well and was on the icy side. Drive-thru boba? It doesn't get better than that. I've been to this location a few times already and I haven't been disappointed yet. This location does get pretty busy at night and seems to be a popular hang-out spot for a lot of people. I often see people coming here to study with their friends or by themselves. They do have an app where you can place your order ahead of time and can either pick up in-store or through their drive-thru. In-store, they have 2 separate kiosks where you can place your order and if it does get busy, they do have a cashier that can help take your order. I got the popcorn chicken combo with a Tropical Beach w/ Lychee Jelly. That was the first time I've tried a fruit drink at Summerfield and I definitely need to make sugar adjustments in the future. I got regular sweet for this drink and it felt like I was going to get a cavity. I really enjoy the popcorn chicken from here because it's always hot, crunchy, and consistent. There's different sizes and I love that they put the crumbs with the chunks (those are my favorite). The regular milk tea with boba will always be my go-to. Decided to check this place out since we were passing by and it was during their happy hour time. It was pretty empty since we came around 1:30pm on a Monday. First, the pros: Their parking lot is spacious with plenty of parking. Interior is also very spacious with plenty of seating. Ambiance is actually very nice. Like some other reviewers mentioned, they do blast their ac in here and although there was soothing music in the background the volume was on the louder side. There are plenty of outlets for those who plan on bringing their laptop. Also when you ask for less ice they actually use minimal ice. Now for the con: the tea was so watered down. We ordered 2 seaside teas with less ice and 25% sugar. After reading many reviews saying their drinks were pretty sweet (and as someone who regular orders 0-25% sugar at other popular tea places) we decided to go with 25%. Tbh 25% wasn't sweet at all but also the tea had no flavor. If it weren't for the toppings it would taste like water. Not sure if I'll be back. Been waiting for this location to open up for the past few months ever since I saw the signage pop up. It's finally open - currently in its soft opening phase. Heard there was a BOGO deal but seems like it's only happening during the first two hours of soft opening every day (3-5 pm). Soft opening hours are 3 pm - 1 AM according to one of the workers/owners? Although signage says 1 pm opening so not too sure. Regular hours will be 8:30 AM to 1 AM. They do have a popcorn chicken and milk tea deal for $7 that's all day, which is honestly worth it since a milk tea is $6 already. Menu appears to be the same as the Rowland Heights location. I was genuinely excited when I saw a new boba spot open up in the area. I'm always down to try something new, and I had a little hope that this could be a hidden gem. That said, I've been to their location in Rowland Heights before, and that one wasn't exactly amazing either, so I came in with low expectations. Nothing. Just bland liquid. It was honestly hard to tell the difference between them, because they all tasted the same, and not in a good way. The French fries are BBQ flavor with your choice of added spice. The strawberry milk came with honey boba. The strawberry milk felt more of a yogurt texture/consistency. The flavor of milk wasn't as present. The drink wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing compared to their other location. The location itself is nice with plenty of parking & seating.
