I would NEVER use this company again. I paid for a year's worth of quarterly visits to spray inside and out for ants. The first 2 visits went fine then for the third one they apparently showed up while I was out. They said they just sprayed outside. When I called to question the bill I got because I had no idea they were there, they said that since they can only come on Saturday it is hard to schedule so they have to come when they are in the neighborhood. WHAT? Since you have to be out of the house for 4 hours after spraying that is very inconsiderate to just show up and expect me to leave(if I had been home). I complained about this and the person on the phone was annoyed with me and rude about it. He made it sound like I was the one with the problem. I scheduled the last visit, and cancelled. They have terrible customer service and are very inconsiderate. Whoever works the office needs some customer service training. Since I was paying $120 per visit I think a phone appointment in advance is not unreasonable. Sound like others have had the same thing happen them. Find another company. No one likes to find mice (remnants) in their house...especially with small kids crawling around and eating who knows what from who knows where. Within 2 hours of my initial call, Morgan was at our front door setting traps and quickly helping with our pest-y problem. Now, are the mice completely gone. Not quite yet but apparently, we were hosting a small country's worth in our crawl space. Morgan has been back twice since our initial visit, and we're all hopeful that our friends will find a new home soon. read more

Bill and his crew (Morgan and Gabe) are both extremely knowledgable and professional. We came to them over a year ago when we were concerned about a potential mouse problem. Through the year we have had them come visit us for a bird trapped in our wall :( , a strange smell from a downstairs closet, ants, and finally wasps! (That's what you get for living near a forest). In every case, the team has been patient and thorough. We're on a quarterly check schedule now and that has been the best investment. We also appreciate that they minimize the amount of products whenever possible, since we live in a neighborhood with lots of pets and natural critters. Finally, Bill and his team really are out to do the best job possible - always going the extra "mile". Case in point, on Thursday evening we had a single wasp in our house. Bill came by, checked it out, and said they would try to take care of it as soon as they could. By Saturday morning, Morgan had come out, worked on the wasp nests(!) in our roof - only in spots to minimize any treatment. Tuesday morning, the office calls and says they won't charge us for the visit, even though that's not part of their regular service contract with us...saved us over $150! I'll elaborate more when time allows, but save yourself some frustration and DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. We interacted with 4 different employees over the past couple months and all but one were rude, not helpful, pushy and noticeably annoyed during conversations. There's also a severe lack of communication between employees, they show up with no confirmed appointment and expect you to rearrange your schedule for them. They also expect you to pay loads of money with little to no information. No thanks! They got several hundred from us for a rat and carpenter ant problem, but we have since decided to take our business to a company more customer focused and willing to spend time explaining pricing, products and the reasoning behind the services they push you to purchase. read more

Finaly you guys got rid of them last fall,I was hoping i would not see them again this spring and i havent, its well worth the money every 3 months. They were hired to deal with a small rodent problem in our crawl space. Instead they created a major problem because they failed to seal of the entrances, left a ton of rat bait which the rats ate and then died in the insulation. Now all of the insulation will have to be pulled out the crawl space will have to be sanitized, and the insulation will have to be replaced. Their shoddy work cost us thousands! Do not hire them! read more

I was so happy to have used Summit Pest Management. I had a horrible smell coming up from under the house. I didn't want to know what was under there and almost sent my 17 yr. old under to look. I am so glad I didn't. Morgan came out and was very informative. He told me what he thought it might be and I decided Morgan could have the job of looking. Luckily the critter was right there when we lifted up the hatch to go under the house. It was a 30 lb. dead raccoon! Morgan was very professional. He was wearing protective gear and went down there and bagged up the critter. He sprinkled baking soda all around the place the raccoon was . He then repaired the vent screens that were loose and the one the raccoon had pushed out. Thank you for getting rid of the horrible smell. Would highly recommend. read more

I've been on their yearly plan for 7+ years and they are fantastic! Anytime I call they come out and have a very friendly and informative staff. It is 100% worth it to have their yearly service! They originally helped with squirrels in our attic, but went further and made sure there were no entry points in our house and they continue to stay on top of it. Wish there was LESS THAN ONE STAR as an option. Very unprofessional and highly rude. I used them once a few years ago to get rid of rats in the house. Yesterday I called them again as I found evidence of rats in the basement. No one called me back so I called again. The receptionist made excuses saying I was on her list of people to call. Then when I asked when the soonest someone could come out and help us was, she said they were "booked until the end of the year" in a rude tone. When I expressed how surprising that was to hear and I wondered if since I was a repeat customer that they may be able to make an exception since the rats are quite gross. I asked to speak with the owner, she abruptly placed me on hold without telling me. She came back on and repeated her statement. I said I would appreciate being able to get a message to the owner if possible, again put me on hold without telling me. She came back on and rudely said, "Well... actually.... it turns out we don't want to service your house again says my boss." I shared how confusing that was to me and that I would like to hear more about why. She said she would forward me to his voice mail. I waited for 10 minutes, to no avail. Then I suddenly got disconnected. I called back, only to be sent into the general company voice mail box. Wow. Really? DON"T BOTHER WITH THIS COMPANY. I am a single mom of a sweet child with special needs. I am not about to use them again. Life is short and I won't give business to anyone who doesn't value people and communication. read more

I learned the hard way (twice) that you NEED to have good pest control folks as a homeowner. Bill and Morgan literally saved our family when we had a rat invasion, and then again from a family of 5 raccoons a few years later! They are always pleasant, respectful of my home and property, and very clean. I know exactly what they're going to do before they do it, and they have a good sense about targeting the problem, not just poisoning everything in sight like a previous company I had tried. They've been my regular ant spray guys for 6 years and counting, and I highly recommend them for ANY pest problem you may have. Also great for home inspections so you know what you're moving into- I wish I had done that! read more

We were recommended Summit Pest Management because we thought we might have squirrels or rats in our attic. When I called I was impressed with the wealth of knowledge that was given to me before they came out. My technician, Matt was able to come an hour earlier than expected. They kindly called me first before showing up. Matt was very kind to my children and my dog. He was courteous of my home. He thoroughly inspected my home inside and out. He found no trace of squirrels or rats. What a relief! And to my utter astonishment, there was no charge for all of his work. We will definitely call Summit again and recommend them to our friends and family. read more

The afternoon that I reached into my full sink of soapy water and pulled out a dead mouse was the day I fired my sweet husband as Chief Mouse Patrol! I looked on Yelp and Angie's List and called Summit Pest Management. Morgan came within 48 hours and gave us a thorough report on the hotel conditions at our Grand Hotel! He placed pet safe traps under the house and all around the house and will come back in 2 weeks to check on how many of our guests have "checked out"...Very good attention to detail and knowledgeable and not trying to sell me things that I don't need. It's the worst customer service I've ever received! They charged me for a service they have never done. I was looking online for a pest company, and put my information online with "Home Advisor'. That same day, I got 2-3 phone calls that I thought coming from one company. I scheduled then I cancelled the appointment that same day. Apparently the Summit Pest Management appointment was not cancelled, because nobody at the Summit Pest Management followed up with a confirmation email or a phone number that would allow me to contact them back. I've explained to them the mistake, but they kept sending me the bill. The lady I talked to on the phone was extremely rude. read more

Not only myself, but many other homes in my neighborhood all use Summit Pest and have for YEARS. They use to have fabulous service but over the last year it has declined quickly. They started to call to schedule and get very upset if we could not make the time they wanted the following day. My son has multipal medical issues and I have told them for years I need one weeks notice for quarterly spraying due to a crazy therapy schedule, and they started giving one day's notice the first time I could not make it work for them, they cancelled me as a client. I was shocked at their horrible customer service to a long time customer. Funny thing is, I called some neighbors and they did the same to them as well. They also raised all of our bills significantly even though we had agreements for a quarterly schedule. They have horrible customer service. read more

Terrible service. The technician is rude and complains about having to drive out to the service location. When you complain and ask for a different technician they cancel your service. So we are gladly looking for a new Pest Control Company. read more
