It's good, but contact your bank prior for a wire transfer. 1 jar pickles and 1 jar honey was $54.

The line was long but we got to order and had a table for 4 which was nice. There are seatings in the out door but also full. The service is great but extremely hectic, everyone is running like crazy. We ordered from the outside and the server brought the foods to our table. The prices are average $20 a plate. We ordered Fried fish tacos instead of grilled and a burrito. The chips and pico de gallo for $5 is very good, we ordered at the bar. The garlic fries are so good, every piece with great flavor and crispy. The burrito is huge and very filling, but our fried fish tacos are excellent, my wife really liked them, 2 on a plate with everything on them. It's quite messy to eat these tacos, they're big. Anyhow, compare to the Halfmoon Bay fish tacos that we liked, this is quite delicious. There are quite many beers served here but we didn't have any. This is a great fish place, but quite hard to find parking and in a very busy street.

This is a hip area with surfing lessons, coffee shops and of course Hook Fish. I came here with a group, after a hike at the Tennessee Valley Trail (a beautiful hike to a beach, probably 1-2 miles away). At Hook Fish, you find a table, get in line and order your food with your table number. They bring it over (quickly!) and you get to people watch for your troubles. The dishes were a heavy mouthful, but delectable as expected. It feels East Coast West Coast to me in nature, but all pure goodness. The fried fish I had was crispy and tender, and the nachos and poke were fresh and crunchy chipped. We left with tight belts. I'd plan ahead or come prepared to hunt for parking, but it was a fun stop otherwise, especially for a friendly gathering with some solid grub.

At first, I was surprised to see it in such an unexpected spot, but figured they must be doing well to operate in such a remote location. I asked my husband to look them up, but couldn't find much online at the time and even at this moment, I couldn't find any other information about them so thought I'd leave a review for more exposure. We decided to stop by on our way back for dinner before heading back to the cabins and I'm so glad we did! The truck was still there, and we grabbed a large supreme pizza, which was reasonably priced and surprisingly delicious for a mobile pizza truck! One of the co-owners, Michael, had set up a cozy area with a sectional couch, so you could enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the ocean. We would've stayed to eat, but since it was a bit windy that day, we opted to take it back to the cabins and enjoy it there. I wanted to leave a review to let others know there's a solid pizza spot in the Mount Tamalpais area with an incredible view. What really stood out was that they have an actual pizza oven in the back of the truck feeling like there's no doubt you're getting a quality pizza cooked right there. While they don't have an exact address, the best way to find them is by looking for the parking lot across from the famous Red Rock Spring, where people stop to get spring water. Best of luck to Matter Daddy's Mobile Pizza and Michael and his co-owner. I really do hope this helps flourish their business as my husband and I thought this was a no frill but delicious pizza spot around that area.

There's something for everyone here. I was impressed to see a gluten-free vegetarian samosa in the apps! I have a few gluten-free friends so this would be great for them to come a try! On top of that, Avatar's takes pride in being open to accommodate to customers' dietary requqests as best they can, so the menu isn't extremely fixed. Their food and service are top notch! For my first visit, we were greeted warmly and were able to get a table right away since we went at an off peak dining hour. I'm easy, I just went with Dahl and Basmati. It's my favorite thing even tho it's super basic. The dahl was packed full of flavor, eating it was such a delight. I hope someday they'll create a vegan-friendly dessert or even a vegan Mango Lassi. I can't wait for my next visit when I'm in the area.

Great spot for clean, comforting food and a warm, personal dining experience.

You get a plastic number (shaped like a tent) and they either deliver your food to you when it's ready or sometimes they'll call your number if it's crowded and they want to get the food to you sooner. Water is served in a glass jar with a slice of lemon. The line can get long but it does move. There was still a line (about 12 people) at 3:00 on a Sunday. We ordered white clam soup, garlic bread, fish and chips, poke, pasta with clams. All was tasty. White clam soup was very thick and packed with potatoes and included a slice of bread. The garlic bread was flavorful and liked by all 6 of us. There were quite a few clams (more than 15) with the pasta. The only dish we weren't able to finish was the fish and chips. Some of the dishes are a little pricey so it does add up. Overall, food is very flavorful.

We kept looking around to see if ppl had ordered it, and hardly anyone did. Plus we noticed it's a cold crab sandwich so we passed on that too.
