The staff mentioned that we would have to wait for 30-45minutes for the fish and chips so I didn't get it and I wish I could if I didn't have to wait that long. Luckily there's a cool surf/gear store next door to explore with tons of awesome items. As mentioned above after getting seated, it's another ~5-10 minutes to order drinks at the bar and ~5-10 minutes to stand in line to be able to order food. Then -20 minute wait for the food once ordered. All in all I don't think I was a fan of this set up. Fish and chips were okay/pretty good but nothing I would write home about. Oddly enough I think our table of 6 ordered five orders of fish and chips because we were that excited to try them out for ourselves. We've always wanted to try their S.F. location by the beach but it's always super packed. We also ordered a few Chips and salsa and guacamole. Salsa and guac were super bland, definitely would not recommend the salsa at all to my worst enemy. The beer selection on draft was extensive and bartenders were super friendly. Parking could be A LOT better -- we had to find parking all the way down the busy high speed road. They have their own small parking lot on site but it was packed to the brim. Originally I had this listed as a 4-star review because it truly is a nice layout and location with potential, but after writing this review I think it's more realistically a solid 3.5 star experience. Decided to keep the 4 to be fair because staff is super friendly and the layout and bones of the location is actually really big and nice, but it all just felt a little too clunky to be honest. The truck was still there, and we grabbed a large supreme pizza, which was reasonably priced and surprisingly delicious for a mobile pizza truck! One of the co-owners, Michael, had set up a cozy area with a sectional couch, so you could enjoy your meal with a stunning view of the ocean. We would've stayed to eat, but since it was a bit windy that day, we opted to take it back to the cabins and enjoy it there. I wanted to leave a review to let others know there's a solid pizza spot in the Mount Tamalpais area with an incredible view. What really stood out was that they have an actual pizza oven in the back of the truck feeling like there's no doubt you're getting a quality pizza cooked right there. While they don't have an exact address, the best way to find them is by looking for the parking lot across from the famous Red Rock Spring, where people stop to get spring water. On top of that, Avatar's takes pride in being open to accommodate to customers' dietary requqests as best they can, so the menu isn't extremely fixed. Their food and service are top notch! For my first visit, we were greeted warmly and were able to get a table right away since we went at an off peak dining hour. I'm easy, I just went with Dahl and Basmati. It's my favorite thing even tho it's super basic. The dahl was packed full of flavor, eating it was such a delight. I hope someday they'll create a vegan-friendly dessert or even a vegan Mango Lassi. I can't wait for my next visit when I'm in the area.

The entire staff was friendly and worked nonstop in various roles, whether taking food and drink orders, delivering them to guests, cleaning tables, or filling take-out orders.
