    Donut that taste like heaven

It sure is hard to find a good donut shop these days. I've lived in Alhambra for awhile now and when I would leave for work at 4 AM I would see this shop with the lights on and wondered "hey they must be good ! " Took some time but I finally tried this sweet little gem of a shop. At first it was one glaze donut then it turned into a dozen. These donuts are like heaven if heaven had a taste! That is how good they are. I am in my 30s and taking a bite of these donuts brings me back to a young elementary school girl. I haven't had a donut that good since then. The owner is so kind and very welcoming. My son loves going for donuts. It's always a good trip. Great parking and a nice shop with a little bit of everything. Thank you for making the most delicious softest donuts!! Sun Donuts for all your donut needs !!!

This is one popular donut shop on the weekends. I stopped by to grab a few donuts and a ham & cheese croissant. Delicious and fresh tasting without all the high amounts of sugar. They used to have Lottery tickets here but who knows why they stopped selling them.

So it was my turn to bring donuts for my office team. I decided to give this place a shot. It's close by my job and why not. I came in and out. Paid like $16 something for a dozen donuts. They have a good selection. The place is clean ,staff do their job. Donuts were great. Good hole in the wall donut shop try them out. Will be back.

Have been addicted to their #12 ham and cheese croissant for a bit now. They have pretty good donuts along with freshly squeezed juices. It's a small family business and you can feel the friendliness and familiarity as soon as you enter. Shared parking with the other businesses in the plaza: a laundromat, Italian restaurant and a tattoo parlor, I think? I only go in the mornings, on my way into work. Service is pretty fast and efficient. Seems to be a lot of neighborhood regulars. Happy to support this family business!

Was staying in Alhambra for about a week on vacation. My mom had picked up some donuts one morning and I just had to go back in and grab their iced coffee to finish off the delish donuts! Every morning while we stayed it was so good, there's nobody else I had rather go than get their iced coffee in the morning to get me going. They open early so which was nice and every time you go in, everyone in there is super friendly! Even all the customers were more than happy waiting in line during the busy hours. Seemed like a great place to have a relaxing happy morning. On my last day I decided to get a box of donuts to bring back with me to Canada so my boyfriend could try their delectable donuts, opened the box and Kim the owner had threw in some free holes as well! She was super sweet everyday I came in and as well as all the staff. The donuts made it back all in one piece and I've never tried a Bear claw before and it was absolutely delicious. I think it's a Cali donut or maybe American thing? So overall, SOFTEST, not dry donuts I've ever had. Better than Krispy Kreme and Tim Hortons. So if you're in the area, please try this local mom and pop shop. Highly recommend!

Sun Donuts, you made our day a Sun-ny day! I've passed this place almost every single day on my way to work and I couldnt be more thankful that I finally paid them a visit. The staff was super friendly and welcoming upon me opening the door. They had a decent variety of traditional donuts as well as some with cereal on top of them. The place is clean, they take credit cards and are affordable. Great quality for the price. There was no weird taste to any of their dough. Toppings, flavors and the donuts were all super fresh and delicious. I'll be back! You guys definitely brightened my day. Oh and I can confirm, they do take credit cards which is AWESOME!!! #15/2020

I was in the area on a weekday and decided to stop by before work to grab a coffee. I went at around 8:30 AM and it was busy with many folks doing work. After looking at the menu, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to get given the selection! I asked for a recommendation between drinks and they mentioned if I want a hot drink - Miso White would be good; for a cold drink - Lychee Tonic would be ideal. It was a hotter day, so I opted for the Lychee Tonic. Since it was busy, the wait was ~ 10 minutes for the drink. After giving it a try, it tasted refreshing but I didn't really get the lychee taste. Not the best first impression with the tonic. However, I'd still consider coming back considering their ambience. Also absolutely interested to try their pour over options! Parking is available in the back of the building. American Express is accepted here.

Liked it, but slightly too sweet. It was okay after I added more ice later. Ended up combining leftover Hojicha & coffee together. Tastes pretty good. This drink got pretty expensive. The matcha itself was pretty weak and a bit flat, missing that rich, earthy depth you'd hope for, so overall it just fell a little meh. The sesame cream added a nice richness, but didn't bring much of that distinct nutty sesame flavor and mostly just tasted creamy. That said, the space is beautiful. It's clean and minimalist with lots of natural wood, high ceilings, and an open, airy layout. There's plenty of seating, making it a great spot to work, study, or just hang out. I'd still be open to coming back and giving it another try, maybe the double matcha will hit better next time.

But the pandan is SUUUPER nice and fragrant like they did not skimp out on the pandan at all. If you've never had pandan I guess I'd describe it as a really fragrant Asian vanilla? It smells really good. Don't let the green scare you! And it's absolutely nothing like matcha-- it's just a sweetener. Tried a sip of the Dirty Milo (hot) and that was really good too but regular sugar is just way, wayyyy too sweet. It's like Asian flavors but American level sweetness here. Came Back for Our Usual... Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels…read more Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!

Their mochi is made with cheese and it's the best thing I've ever had. And I think compared to other places, their cheese cloud is tastier as well.
