She plopped two sandwiches on the counter and told me she got a pork and a ham from Boda. I hadn't been to this joint so I got a little giddy. I went for the pork banh mi first because the meat levels on the ham seemed low. I dug in and immediately saw the Chinese/Vietnamese crossover. The flavors of the pork were leaning more towards east asian. I scarfed that down and moved on to the ham, and was a little disappointed on the meat to bread ratio, which I vocalized to Martha. She told me "it was only $7 -- you get what you pay for!". I took back my comment. $7 is a good price for what they gave. Martha and I gave each other a kiss after eating. She leaned back and smiled and in-between those pearly whites was a hefty piece of cilantro. She wanted to make love, but I told her we should brush our teeth first.
