A round of applause for Sunbliss Cafe's #2 location. Sunbliss has been a trailblazer within the world of coffee, so I sprinted to try their newest location in CDM. Sunbliss CDM is brilliant. They have an extensive menu filled with the trendiest drinks created. I nearly double fisted my morning caffeine after being unable to narrow it down to a single beverage. I ended up grabbing the honey almond latte with added cinnamon (barista's choice.) This drink was so incredible that I might be crazy enough to order it a second time - very much not like me. Their bites menu is also glorious and includes two of my favorite things: avocado toast and baked goods. I tasted their mediterranean avocado toast which is topped with fresh yogurt and thinly sliced cucumber - don't tell the owner, but I might steal the recipe and make this at home. This location is small but mighty, there's very limited seating (a single indoor breakfast nook), but snagging this spot gave me lucky girl syndrome. Next up, a Huntington Beach location? Either way, I'll be returning to try the Dubai Chocolate Latte and Banana Caramel Cold Brew. read more

A fantastic cute cafe that's located within walking distance from the beach! We tried the strawberry lemonade and mystic matcha. The strawberry lemonade was perfectly refreshing and tart on a sunny day, it was my favorite out of the two drinks. The mystic matcha was a lavender flavored matcha, and while it was a good drink as a whole, I definitely tasted more lavender than matcha. The cashier was also very friendly and I was able to use a bogo deal that I found on their social media. There is limited street parking right in front of the store, but you can turn into the residential streets where there is plenty of parking. Came here with my daughter on Yelp recommendation and tried the strawberry matcha and the Dubai chocolate cold brew. The woman who took our order was so nice and helpful. Fast but still answered my questions and was able to give recommendations. The Dubai chocolate cold brew would not be something I would usually try but I was on the mood for a sweet treat and this delivered. The strawberry matcha had a great texture. I was so happy to know this store was open near my house! I've been to the original Anaheim one and it was amazing, but it was just too darn far! The location was super cute; visible from the main PCH street; but the parking was pretty easy along the neighborhood between Sunbliss and the 76 gas station across the street. I was greeted by two very kind dudes. I only remembered one of their names - Thien - because that's my name, too. I already knew what I wanted - the Dubai Chocolate cold brew on almond milk; and my wife got the owner Tani's favorite - maple oat milk cold brew. This was my first visit to Sunbliss and it won't be my last! What a bright cheerful little gem of a place! The white, blue and golden colors are perfectly suited for it! As you walk in the cashier greets you cheerfully and guides you through the ordering process. Having just had lunch I only grabbed a coffee today. However they do have some small bites to go with your beverage of choice... One of the most popular coffees is the Toffee Latte so of course, I tried it! It was as delicious as I hoped for! Oh well, it was my favorite cafe for a while but that's over now. They no longer serve house made almond milk, they did decide to finally get an actual clean almond milk but it's not the same as having a real house made almond milk. Now the drinks taste like sweet water. They will have to adjust their recipes based on their milk choice. If you need it remade, just ask, they are nice about it. Kudos for having a clean milk option, either way. You would be surprised that a lot of organic places do not have clean almond milk. They do now, as of a couple days ago. The service is always good and the location is super cute. I definitely recommend people try it out for themselves. read more

I think I may have just found my newest hidden gem of 2025! Located right on PCH in Newport Beach is the second location of Sunbliss, and they were voted as one of Yelp's top 100 places in the nation! They use only hand-picked ingredients like Hawaiian blends for their coffee and blue butterfly pea extract. You can definitely taste the quality. And if my matcha isn't hand-whisked to order then I don't want it...which they do! I love the specialty lattes here, especially the toffee latte. The drinks run on the sweeter side (especially the tres leches latte as the name implies) so I'd would recommend ordering less sweet if you don't like your coffee too sweet. For the tres leches, it's with whole milk without milk substitutes available (although alternatives are available for other lattes). Both drinks were delicious!! read more

The cold brew had a deep flavor. It was probably one of the better tasting cold brews I've ever had! It was a small location, but there were areas to walk around nearby . There was limited seating, so I wouldn't exactly say that this is a coffee shop to get work done. We didn't make any adjustments to the regular matcha latte and it was definitely on the sweeter side. The strawberry matcha, on the other hand, we ordered unsweetened since the fresh strawberries add a natural sweetness...I think a balance in sweetness between the two drinks would've been best, so I recommend getting less sweet/syrup unless you like a sweeter matcha drink! read more

There was no one in line when we came in and we were warmly greeted by those behind the counter. I took a few minutes to look over a hard copy of their complete menu. I ordered a 16oz banana cloud matcha with oat milk and my date ordered a 16oz iced tres leches latte. We weren't asked which sizes we want and found we couldn't customize our drinks. I couldn't have the banana matcha sans cream "cloud". Understandable but my date couldn't even have the sweetness of his drink adjusted. My drink looked cute and had a slice of (dried?) banana on top. I think the matcha they use is quality but I hardly tasted banana even after a few sips. I didn't finish my drink in its entirety. It's a bright, clean place with limited seating inside. There are a few seats outside around the small cafe. There's one unisex bathroom inside and a mini parking lot for about three cars behind the cafe. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and I found a space in the lot behind the cafe. read more

I will definitely be coming back to Sunbliss Cafe, walking in gave a beachy vibe since this cafe is near Corona Del Mar beach. Employee was nice and waited when one of my cards didn't work. My friends and I ordered a matcha latte, strawberry matcha, and the mystic matcha latte. I also got go see how they made the drinks and was making it traditionally unlike some cafes that just use concentration. I got to try all of them and these are what we rated them: matcha latte: 9/10 -definitely use ceremonial grade, lots of milk options just got whole milk, overall a normal matcha latte strawberry matcha: 8/10 -it tasted like strawberry milk at first until you mix it more, and it was pretty sweet and strawberry was blended into milk a lot, really pretty for photos btw! mystic matcha: 9.5/10 -I personally love lavender matcha and it was not too sweet or bitter and was just right. If you ever want to try lavender matcha latte definitely come here and the drink was also very pretty. Classic avocado toast: 6/10 -Just use white bread and just an avocado with this sweet savory sauce and slices of cucumber. Its good if your hungry, but i make better avocado toast at home. read more
