I've been following this bakery since they were located in Hercules. Once you've had the best bakery, you gotta find it even if I have to drive hours for it. It's soooo worth it. Super friendly service, baked goods are super tasty. A must destination if you're in between traveling to SF and Sacramento. Check them out in Suisun city. You will not be disappointed.

Very welcoming local Filipino bakery! Right when you walk in, they say hello and welcome. Thee store is very clean and organized. The display cases are filled wifh a variety of delicious goodies that makes it almost hard to decided! They also had a jar of Sunflower related stickers that you can get for free.

I was in the area and I wanted to grab a sweet treat so here I am. I came in and got the pistachio Silvana. It was buttery, packed with pistachios, and not overly sweet. The workers here are very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely be back in the future to try more pastries. Try it out if you like. :)

Ethan bday party was a blast !! The cake was a great and super yummy .

First time I ordered and was pleased with the friendliness and the quality of the ube cake . I will be ordering here again .

My friend and I came here on a Tuesday afternoon after lunch. Parking was easy and plentiful. We were immediately greeted by the 2 ladies behind the counter. They were so friendly and patient while we decided what to get. They had 2 displays filled with Filipino pastries and containers filled with smaller treats. The decor was so cute. They had a Christmas tree in the corner decorated in a back to school theme. They also have a cute photo op corner matching the name of the bakery. My friend opted for the caramel cupcake and the ensaymada, which came out to $5.95 total. I got the cashew sylvana and the caramel cake slice, $10.10 total. My friend said the caramel cupcake was really good! It even had a yummy filling inside. I also enjoyed the sylvana! It was just the right amount of sweet, crisp, and buttery. My friend took home the ensaymada for later so I can't comment how it tasted, but it was a pretty big piece. I'd say about the size of my hand. I also haven't tasted the caramel cake slice yet. Saving it for later! Before we left, we took home a few sunflower themed stickers. They had a bunch and there were a ton of cute designs to choose from! I'm so happy to be able to support a local Filipino owned bakery. I plan to come back to try even more of their offerings!

I made a special request about a month ago to make a caramel cake in the shape of a 7 and 0 for my mom's big 70 birthday party tomorrow. I provided the pans (from Amazon). I picked it up today and they looked so wonderful! They did an amazing job! Thank you so much! They are so nice and helpful! We come here almost every weekend for pandesal, tarts, and meringue. The place is a small, cute spot decorated with a Sunflower theme to match the name of bakery. Thanks again for doing this special order! I'll come back to share pictures with them!

Excellent cashew & pistachio silvanas. Crunchy at bite and soft middle with light taste that just combines all the nutty flavors . Very friendly front host and cute "sunny" bakery decors.

This is a knock out Filipino bakery!! These are fancy and a nice variety. What I've experienced so far: The caramel cake - fluffy and covered in a flavorful, yet light, caramel. The buko (coconut) pie w/Ube - Amazing. Lovely carved slices of young coconut, and Ube filling. The pie crust is not your usual pie crust. It's more layered, flaky not crumbly. Typical of Filipino or Indonesian pastries. And then my absolute fave, the cashew Silvanas. These are buttery, sweet, salty, crispy, and chewy. They do it just right. NOT TOO SWEET! Best eaten while still chilled. Parking is better away from the storefront. This area is always bustling so the prime spots are usually taken. The people are very nice and well organized. We always order our cakes from Sunflower and they never disappoint. Grab some stickers before heading out.

This cake was one of the best cake I've ever tasted! The frosting wasn't too sweet and it mixture of caramel and ube flavor was on point! I wish it was closer to us so I could get easily buy the cake for all occasions! If you're close to this bakery don't miss it!

My family and I love this place! We always order our cakes here for our family events. I've had this bakery before in another city and I am so happy they opened up in Suisun City! They're extremely friendly and the cakes are always baked fresh! They have great pricing, variety of flavors and amazing workers here. Highly recommend this location for desserts/treats!

Not pretty because I took a couple bites hahaha! So moist and not sweet with perfect ube flavors.

Wow, came in to check it out and ordered the ube slice cake and macapuno tart. Both are so delicious and tasty! The ube cake is so moist and not that sweet surprisingly. The macapuno tart was perfect. I'll be back to try the others. lol

My project manager onsite is engaged to someone whose mom is Filipino so he's always in the lookout for places for me to try when I am in the area. Turns out his future MIL works at this local bakery. Omg. Egg pie? Buko pie? Mango cheesecake? Maybe I'll take some home. Here are the items I tried: macapuno tart, caramel tart, cashew silvana and a slice of their infamous caramel cake. Cute space they have and their staff are amazing. The prices are pretty good. I love that none of what I tried was too sweet. Keep up the good work, Sunflower Bakery!

I've visited this Filipino bakery a few times. When we are in the area we make sure to stop by whenever we can. The people there are always welcoming and the service is great. We love their Filipino pastries and cakes. My hubby's fave is the Ube Buko pie and mine are the silvanas, the pistachio and cashew are both so good so those are a must to get. Their specialty is their caramel cake. I got a slice a while back and it is very delicious. They make custom cakes so definitely come check them out if you're thinking of giving someone a "not your standard flavored cake". Their shop is small but it's so inviting and so well themed and super clean. There's plenty of parking as it's located in a plaza. Will definitely try their other desserts and pastries the next time. I'm definitely getting the sansrival (another one of my faves) the next time.

We ordered the meal plate w/ 2 entrees: half Garlic Rice (best to go in the AM before they run out) / half Pansit, and a double order of the Lechon (Roast Pork) Sisig. Bam! Way better than Panda Express lol...they even include a free soda! Service can be a little slow, but we noticed that's only because they take the time to pack things carefully to prevent spills. That is attention to detail that I can appreciate. Some advice - going at lunchtime will be very busy, so either give yourself extra time (or patience), or try going in the morning when all the food is freshly available. Enjoy!

I wanted to share a disappointing experience I had during my recent visit to your restaurant…read more The cashier was warm, friendly, and engaging with the customers before me, but when it was my turn, her demeanor completely changed. I asked if I could have an extra to-go bowl, and she simply replied, "No, we don't do that." While that wasn't the answer I was hoping for, I accepted it without issue. What bothered me was what happened next. When I asked for utensils, instead of handing them to me, she placed them on the counter for me to pick up, doing so with a dismissive attitude. She then proceeded to speak in Tagalog in a way that made me feel she assumed I couldn't understand her. It came across as rude, disrespectful, and hurtful. My family owns the childcare center directly behind your restaurant, and we have supported your business for a long time. We are also actively involved in the local community and workj closely with the City and the Mayor's office through our childcare programs. It was especially disappointing to feel as though I was treated differently because she assumed I wasn't Filipino. Everyone deserves to be treated with the same level of courtesy and respect, regardless of their appearance or background. Unfortunately, this experience has cost your restaurant a loyal customer. I will also be sharing my experience with my professional and community network, as I believe businesses should be held to a consistent standard of customer service. I hope you take this feedback seriously so that no one else has a similar experience.

Traditional Filipino dishes [Vallejo CA]…read more We were in the area and were looking for a place to eat preferably serving Filipino cuisine since we have limited options in Roseville. Hubby found this restaurant and so we drove to the place. First thing you'll notice once you enter the restaurant is the warm temp inside - no AC but they have electric fans going on. To the right is a long shelf with a variety grocery items while the table seating is laid out in the center. TV was tuned in to a channel playing a Filipino movie. This is a "turo-turo" style food ordering, meaning no table service instead you go to where the dishes are cooked in large portions (which is towards the back of the restaurant) and you choose which ones you want. We ordered: Pork Sinigang - a little too sour for me but this is a classic Filipino soup with pork ribs, vegetables, and tamarind broth. Bistek (beef steak) - thin slices of marinated beef before smothered in a deeply savory sauce and topped with golden-seared onions Pork Adobo - classic Filipino dish of pork simmered in vinegar, soy sauce, and garlic Kaldereta - goat meat stew I didn't try the kaldereta but all the other dishes were good and delicious.
