Near Burt hash browns, chicken fried steak tough to eat, no bread to use for the eggs or sausage gravy Mary's place has WAY better!

We like the rice option on the breakfast. When they make lasagna soup- we absolutely love that! ( no other restaurant does lasagna soup) If they made it every day, we'd go every day! We visit 20 restaurants a month.

This is a neat local restaurant. Kind of kitschy with diner booths and local art. The staff was friendly and the food came out quickly. We had the French toast which was very good. It had cinnamon in it which was a nice surprise. The Swedish pancakes were good as well although were more similar to crepes. Overall it's a very nice place with good comfort food. We will return again. Enjoy.

Nothing fancy atmosphere, but very clean and comfy. Service was excellent and their menu is rich with unique and delicious choices, along with all the traditional items, as well. We had two of their items off the seasonal menu; banana Nutella stuffed French toast and a Monte Christo. I really hope they keep those forever, both were fantastic. Fresh coffee and some fun coctail choices, too. Their Bloody Mary was simple, but perfectly spiced and yummy! We will definitely be back.

Stopped in Sunday morning, was seated right away, and set up with water while browsing the menu. Staff was friendly and checked on my table a few times while eating. I ordered the corned beef and hash, but pointed at the menu while ordering and ended up receiving chicken fried steak. I debated sending it back, but didn't have time. The steak itself was a bit tough still, but the breading and sausage gravy were excellent. Eggs were really good, and hashbrowns were okay. I'll try the home style potatoes next time. Even with my order getting mixed up, I still enjoyed my meal and plan to return and actually try the corned beef and hash. Update- Stopped in for the corned beef. First time having it served like this. Lots of flavor.

Checking out a local breakfast place. Restaurant is bright and clean. Surprisingly the menu had lot more choices than expected. Price was fair and food was decent. Service was great. Will come back to try other dishes.

For a basic breakfast place in the neighborhood with no frills this is a decent spot. Went on a Wed mid- morning and the place was half full. Waitstaff was friendly. I had the sunflower cafe meal with eggs, choice of meat, toast and hash browns. I upgraded the hash browns to potato tumblers which were like potato balls.

Solid little basic breakfast joint in Renton. Interior is clean, not cluttered and has a very open feel. Inside is very diner-esque, which you wouldn't get that vibe from looking at the exterior. Food came out pretty quickly even though the restaurant was busy. I ordered a pancake and it was pretty big, split the biscuits and gravy with my sister and mom got the cali benedict. The pancake was really solid, crispy and just dense enough. The biscuits and gravy were pretty good too, not too salty. The hash browns were okay, a little cold. Overall, really good experience and prices weren't steep.

Very fast service, friendly. Great food, the omelettes are very good here. Swedish crepes are another favorite. Bright restaurant, love the 60s diner decor.

I came here with a group of friends for brunch. This restaurant used to be a Starbucks but they moved to another location closeby. There's plenty of parking around the plaza. As I entered the restaurant, I noticed it was not full with lots of seatings. The interior was bright, reminds me like you're in a classic diner. As I joined my party, we were seated immediately. The menu was very standard and has all your basic breakfast/lunch foods. Prices are a bit hefty. I decided to order the farmer's omelet which includes sausage, ham, onion, bell pepper, and cheese with a side of toast and hashbowns. Overall, I thought my breakfast platter was just average. Nothing too special except if you want to shell out some cash. I understand that they're fairly new, my meal should not cost $20 with tips. Imo I think you're better off going to IHOP just for the cost and the variety in general.

They always have me at Bacon!! Nice and crispy yet juicy, and full of flavor! First time for both of us with their omelets. Very thing egg, I think for the veggie one everything was diced smaller than i like it but otherwise it was good! The sausage omelet was delicious! The service is always good. Atmosphere quant.

I'll be honest--the service felt a bit odd when we first walked in. We were told we could wait a while to get seated at the dinning area or that we could seat ourselves at the bar. Since it was our first time, I wasn't sure if that meant the actual bar counter or tables in the bar area. When I asked for clarification, there was a bit of an awkward pause before someone finally explained we could sit at a table in the bar section. That said, once we got settled, the experience improved. The server who took care of us was very kind and attentive. I ordered my usual go-to at breakfast spots: chicken fried steak with a biscuit. It was really good--definitely hearty and comforting without being overly greasy. That said, it is a heavy meal (fried food plus gravy), so be prepared for a post-brunch nap. The biscuit looked a little underwhelming at first, but it actually tasted great. The overall vibe of the place is very much a local dive bar feel, and the service style matches that. As long as you go in with the right expectations, it makes for an enjoyable, laid-back brunch. Also worth noting--there's a decent amount of parking in the back, which is always a plus. Overall, a solid spot for a casual, no-frills brunch.
