I can't believe I've never been here before. I live in GA now but lived here for 1/2 my life. Blueberry pancakes were delicious and the yolk in the eggs were a beautiful dark yellow, so yummy!!! Joanne couldn't have possibly been sweeter or more informative. Great server!!! The dining room is clean, simple, relaxing and very inviting. I had high hopes for this place but it's a one & done for us. The lack of communication waiting 20 minutes after being seated to ask for beverages, I requested a high chair & that took another 15 minutes to get. The server finally came but seemed more interested in serving other tables than our table no introduction took forever to get our food. Overall this took almost 2 hours of our day. Which is crazy. Our red flag should have been the couple that just left the restaurant after not being attended. read more

Tried this restaurant after seeing the reviews on Yelp and it did not disappoint. I ordered the blueberry pancakes and they were delicious. Friendly staff and clean dining area. Parking is ample since it sits in a shopping center. I guess the only thing is the outside decor and colors of the building are a little funky. But all in all, I was pleasantly surprised. During that 40 minute wait we never saw our waitress to give us an update on when our food will be coming out once we received our food, we never saw her again. We were waited on by Kosta; he is sharp, really cares about his work, is friendly and charming; made several excellent suggestions. Wow. Went in Sunday morning around 9:30. Party of two with basic order. Order taken in normal fashion. :30 + minutes goes by. No food. Waitress goes to check on food. Nothing. She eventually comes back and apologizes and gives us a small leftover fruit cup and a cookie for the delay! Odd combo but nice gesture. Never came back again. We inquired with other workers but no one came back. No drink refills. Nothing. Table next to us was turned twice with customers while we sat. We did see waitress still working. They use super high quality eggs, and I was shocked how fresh they were! The eggs Benedict and chilaquiles were delicious, and matcha latte was tasty. Great service too. First time trying Sunny Side today and it was wonderful! Our server was great and helped us make menu decisions... First off, the coffee was so good, I went to Sprouts to buy it for home... Peerless Italian Roast. The breakfast burrito was really good and the French toast was thick and yummy! We have been going to this lovely reasonably priced restaurant since its inception and we have never been disappointed! The meals, yummy breads and jam are homemade, prepared with fresh ingredients and the servings are big enough to share. The cloth napkins are also a nice touch. My party (6) went on Easter Sunday, expecting it to be very crowded for brunch. It started to get rather busy about 30 mins in but you would have never known. The service was amazing and they really made you feel like you were the priority at all times. Anything we asked for was instantly brought out with great hospitality. Our server was Joanne and she was so attentive to every need we had, she always had a smile on her face, and moved rather quickly the entire visit. But we should have shared one, as the portions were large. The sandwich was delicious. They use high-quality, super fresh ingredients. We loved their (lightly-battered) french fries, too. Sunny Side Cafe serves breakfast and lunch, and is open 7am to 3pm daily. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Owners on premises. Remodeled interior is modern and bright. Not only is the cream cheese frosting light, fluffy and flavorful but the rest is covered in creamy cinnamon butter!! DELICIOUS!! Another must try is the french toast! It is so good!! It is made with brown sugar that gives it a unique taste and not overly sweet!! Hubby had the breakfast burrito and said it was so good and was packed with tons of cheese, eggs, potatoes and chorizo!
