I have been here before. I went here out of desperation. It's a weekend in Cocoa Beach. It wasn't busy at all. I was told to seat myself. I waited 5 minutes to get a menu and I ordered coffee and water. When the server returned I order my late breakfast. It arrived and it was just warm. The hash browns were undercooked and disgusting. The biscuit was gummy. It's hard to screw up eggs or bacon and those items were just fair. My coffee cup was dry and I set to the side of the table. I believe this tells people you would like another cup. Nope. My server was at the counter chatting and counting tickets from the morning. I don't stiff servers often but I did today. She was rude to my friend who was holding the door open for people and shouted at her to "close the door." She passed by my friend and told him "Just sit the fuck down." They were so disrespectful. We walked in after a 12 hour drive to get a little something on our stomached. My husband ordered their meatloaf with 2 sides of mash potatoes (or as the waitress corrected him "mash, mash), and a order of mozzarella Bread. I ordered a simple cup of hot chocolate bc the smell in the restraint made me nauseous. We didn't have to wait to long for his food but we had to ask a second time for my hot chocolate. When the food came out the meatloaf looked so nasty. I wouldn't even give that to my dog. It was so dry with way to much gravy on top, the mozzarella breads came out burnt and the cheese barely melted, and my hot chocolate tasted like a hot water that had a little chocolate syrup in it, the. When I went to take a second drink I realized that there was oil floating in the top of the cup. We kindly asked for the waitress to take off the worst of the issues and she wasn't very happy. She sternly asked what my husband wanted her to do. So he point blank told her we'll take off the hot chocolate and the meatloaf meal and we would pay for the soda, water and the bread sense he ate 2 out do the 4 pieces of burnt bread. read more

Don't let the word "diner" diminish your expectations! This place is a gem and has a more sophisticated menu than you would expect in a diner. Their fresh fish dishes can't be beat in this area! Breakfast is alway great. Fresh ingredients- freshly prepared. You will see a good number if smart local diners here- always a good sign. I appreciate their support of veterans and first responders. Never Again. I ordered four eggs, sausage and bacon and coffee and the bill came to $22 which is ridiculous. So if you're going to order here, get your prices before you submit the order. Another patron with his family was also arguing his bill. over the top much more expensive than waffle House. I don't know maybe the cook faded away and now they got some lousy derelict from the street cooking the food, but it was crap. Not somewhere I would choose to have breakfast again. We've tried a few times over the years but it just misses on some basics. What I liked: Greek Omelette, I don't like hard griddled omletes so I requested that it be cooked soft. The cook nailed it. The hash browns were the best I've had in awhile. What I didn't: The country fried steak was overcooked and the breading was hard. The gravy was an inedible bowl of white, thick paste the consistency of spackle and no flavor but salt. The biscuit, although hot and fresh, had the texture of those biscuits in the cans at the supermarket. There was no crumb at all. Kind of like eating a sponge. Now I know why it's been so long since we ate there, not a very good breakfast and it hasn't improved over the year. read more

This place has gone downhill so bad and so fast. The food doesn't taste the same. I literally got a soggy omelette yesterday. And last week my eggs weren't even cooked. Most of the waitresses are rude and it's just really annoying. They act like they don't even wanna be there. I don't blame them. Stopped by this old school establishment today. I really enjoy Diners and this place is no frills and doesn't try to be something it's not. Good service and good food is what they know. Today I enjoyed Eggs Benedict and hash browns with coffee and OJ. The eggs and hash were very tasty and the coffee and juice were very good too. My wife and I have been to this diner several times; most of the time the food is good, but not today. I don't mind long waits, to be seated; but I do mind rude staff and bad cooks. Our waitress was very rude and had a bad attitude. When she finally showed up at our table, she had that "what the hell do you want" attitude. We ordered our drinks and she got those wrong. I ordered coffee and my wife ordered water with lemon. What we got were two waters no lemon. She finally realized her mistake, after we asked again for lemon. When the food arrived, it was wrong. My soft eggs were hard and my very dark toast was hardly toasted and cold. My wife ordered a single pancake, that didn't arrive until we had finished eating. They tried to send it home with us. The waitress didn't care that our food was correct , she was more interested in the big tip tables. On our way out, I reported the problems to the cashier but like the waitress she didn't care. I walked in and it's small place and it's easy to get seated and the waitress quickly got my drink order. I ordered a sunrise sandwich and substituted the roll for sandwich bread asking for it to be toasted. It's eggs with cheese and bacon. I will say that it was huge and will fill you up. I thought it would be eggs with cheese on top and a couple of slices on top of bacon. It was like a loosely scrambled egg mixture. And the bacon was gummy and I actually took it out of my mouth after try to chew it up. The home fries didn't even look like home fries. It's diner food and for the cheap price of $7.99 it's a big meal. I just think if it was not all scrambled together it would taste better. The home fries were not seasoned and greasy. I barely ate it and while they offered a box, I knew I'd never eat it. Everyone was kind and attentive and they offered to top off my coffee several times. Idk how the food is but they suck at getting people seated. Waited for an hr and we saw that people who came before us are getting seated and we went to see what's going on and they just straight up cross our name from the list. It's 2022 why do you have a notebook list and why is it in open view like I can just grab it and take it w/ me which I should've done. Also I feel bad for the rest of the people because there was only four names left on the list and there was more than seven groups of people waiting w/ us. read more
