We "happend" upon this great location due to having our boys write their SAT in this location. We drove couple hours from Cupertino so we were pleasantly surprised to have authentic Korean menu better than Korean restaurants in San Jose! The food is really fresh and very well prepared. Tried to take my son here today, it had been a while since we visited. As we are walking up, a couple walked in before us. As I got to the door, the waitress ran up to the door, then walked away. Odd. I went to push the door open and almost went through the glass to find the door locked, and the waitress about 8 feet away staring at me. Super odd. I knocked and she put one hand on her hip and pointed to a little sign to the side that read "during busy times door may be locked to slow the spread of Covid". While I think that's ridiculous, it's a private business and I respect their rights to run it how they choose. My beef is not giving the common courtesy of waiting for us to make it the ten steps to the door and telling us their policy. It was juvenile and we won't be back, ever. This will be my go to place for breakfast/brunch. It has a homey feel and great customer services. Prices are also great for what you get! I had the breakfast burrito. I'm usually not a burrito person because it can be too huge and/or too heavy for me. Sun's Cafe breakfast burrito was perfect! It was filling, but not heavy l, and easy to eat; exactly the way I want it! My friend had the biscuit and gravy, which also included 2 eggs. The gravy was creamy and not too thick or heavy feeling, so just right for us. It was a large serving too for just $3.50! I'll definitely be coming back to try their lunch items. :) read more

I want to say this place never stops impressing me! On top of the great food, the owners are just wonderful people! My wife hasn't lived in Yuba City for close to a decade now, and we only can make it in once a year or so when visiting. The owners recognize her every time and ask her try to catch up with whats new with her. The last time we went was the first time we brought our new baby in and the owner was so sweet! It was slow since we came in after the breakfast rush so she insisted on holding him and playing with him so we could eat without having to baby manage. This place looks like a hole in the wall but boy, is it deceiving! We stopped by on a whim, looking for a breakfast place, and we were so pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is small, but it is clean and has a ton of patrons photos on the walls. We were greeted with a lovely smile and a welcome in by one of the owners. They were extremely busy, but they were efficient and friendly. The food was wonderful, hubby had a Denver omelette and I had eggs and ham. We were on a road trip last Saturday from Sacramento to Portland. We stopped here based on the previous Yelp reviews. A little hole in the wall with yummy food. I ordered the Spicy Pork and rice. That's what it is. No frills, but packed with flavor. My hubby, ordered the sushi and teriyaki chicken plate. The sushi wasn't anything to write home about, but the teriyaki chicken was so good. i went here for lunch with my dad from getting my all college stuff ready on 1/13/2017. the lady named sue was so kind and very welcoming. she asked us if it was our first time and we said yes and how we found it. she also asked us if we had korean food before and i love korean food. i am not a kboo (korean boo) lol. UPDATE: she asked us about our school, work, and names and how we wanted to visit korea some day. she is so heartwarming and sweet, she does remember every customers! we ordered california rolls, very good and so many! i bet if you were to go to a sushi restaurant, you will only get five and sun's gave us like a dozen. we also got the bulgogi with rice and kimchi and veggie bibimbap, our favorite dishes and we loved it. when i found this on yelp, at first i thought it was going to be non-asian making korean and japanese food but it not! so happy. i would come here for lunch during college everyday and not get tired of it! it's very affordable and delicious!!!! im happy there's some korean food here instead of waiting for the weekends to go to sacramento to eat korean food. hopefully they will add more dishes like tteokboki, dduk guk, and others. read more

I like my bulgogi wet with sauce. My husband said his spicy pork. He says the food is American-ized, meaning it is a bit sweeter. He is Korean and expected it to be spicier. KOREAN FOOD served here is a secret so far. I'm half Japanese and love asian food. I recommend this place for: BULGOGI - a korean beef marianated with onions, garlic, soy, sugar, and sesame oil over rice, a staple with Koreans. Spicey and sweet. Meateaters will love it. BI BIM BOP - another Korean staple. Some places don't have it on the menu. It is full of flavors, served over rice, with marinated vegetables, carrots, mushrooms, mung beans, spinach, and what ever is fresh. It is topped with a fried egg. You add korean hot sauce paste and mix it all in one bowl. If you like spicey foods get this. Vegetarians will love this too. CALIFORNIA ROLLS - great portions for the price and is very tasty if I may say so. It's not authentic Japanese but I will eat it everytime. My son and I always call before we go, ask for Sue(she's Korean) & Bruce Lee, tell them "Buddha" and Jason sent you. I've only eaten the items I reviewed, I don't think you can get the first two items in town. In fact I no longer have to go to Sacramento to get my KOREAN FIX... my favorite is the BI BIM BOP...
