While in the area we decided to try this place out for some seafood boil. The place was kind of busy and I will say I did appreciate them letting us know we're gonna sit you but the server will be with you after 10 min. There was three of us and there is a sunset special it had king crab, snow crab and shrimp with potatoes, sausage and corn. I will say I did crave more heat and we did get the highest level of spice but all in all the seafood was good. There chicken wings only thing I got a picture of were tasty as well. Would I come back ya I would and try some other things out to see how I really feel. Keep y'all posted

Pretty fiesta (party) atmosphere, decided to seat outside. Accidentally ordered hot without knowing that it's gonna be spicy, couldn't enjoy, also ordered lobster doesn't feel fresh, so i am not sure if it fresh enough. But overall waitress was nice, she did all her best.

    Wall roaches

Don't come here they got roaches crawling all over the tables and walls and still couldn't believe we couldn't get a discount ! Also if anyone doesn't know about the 18% added to the bill is still mad crazy. I don't say anything about tip but 18%percent.

    Ceviche with a added fly

Well...Let's just say I don't ever post reviews. This is actually maybe my second time out of my whole 30 years of being on the planet. The ceviche was "okay" ....that's before I found a full ass fly in my food. Food is nothing special and apparently cleanliness is questionable.

Second time coming here and I'm impressed. I got the shrimp boil, added green mussels and opted for the sunset bang spicy sauce. Great flavor and just enough heat! I tried the lime, mango, and strawberry margarita - the best one was the strawberry flavor. Service was good and our waitress was super sweet and attentive. Will definitely come back!

It was good. Nice neighborhood cafe. However I would have preferred the shrimp already peeled and into the spices. Because once you peel it off all is left is the butter dip.

Two egg breakfast, home fries, sausage, beer biscuits & gravy.

I have always loved my food that I have gotten at the seafood shack…read more Tonight I ordered by the drive-in, the tacos Vallarta with the fish. I got home and there was no cabbage slaw nor the white sauce only the orange sauce in my taco order.... the cabbage slaw is what sets these fish tacos off that are delicious. I've taken many people to this location & taking several of my Spanish friends from Mexico who loves this dish. I am very disappointed tonight because this does not taste as the usual order of taco Vallarta that I have gotten for several years now with your Mesquite location. I just called the store and got two people who could not speak any English and understand what I was trying to tell about my order. when I asked for the young girl who was at the drive-in window who spoke English she was not available. I talked to another young lady who did not really understand what I was talking about, but then she took my name and said the next time I come up there, they would give me an extra slaw. Duh, really!!! There should be someone at this restaurant that can speak English when there is something wrong with an order. The young lady asked me did I want to drive back up there; I told her NO - I live 15 minutes away. My meal that I was really excited for become very disappointing tonight. I know it's a Friday night, but that doesn't matter where the quality wasn't right, not what I'm used to.

After a long day in transit, all we wanted was something deeply satisfying, the kind of meal that feels like a reward. When my mother suggested Aunt Irene's Kitchen, there was no hesitation. She spoke of it with the reverence reserved for places that become part of your personal geography former neighborhood staples, the kind you measure other meals against. Years ago, when she lived nearby, this was her spot. And now, standing beside her in a line that stretched out the door, it was clear we weren't the only ones holding onto that sentiment. The queue moved with surprising ease, a quiet efficiency that felt almost practiced. Inside, the energy was unpretentious and steady. Our cashier, while not particularly warm, was brisk and knowledgeable answering questions with the kind of clarity that suggests confidence in the product more than performance. We ordered simply: wings with fries, and two plates of fried fish with fries. The wings hadn't been part of the original plan, but a fellow patron mid-meal and visibly excited leaned over to insist. It felt like advice worth taking. And it was. The food arrived in its own time this is not a place for the impatient but what it lacked in speed, it more than made up for in flavor. The fish was crisp and tender, the wings richly seasoned, each bite layered with the kind of depth that doesn't rush itself. Then there was the jalapeño tucked alongside the plate like a quiet signature. It cut through the richness with a bright, deliberate heat, a small but memorable detail that elevated the entire experience. The dining room itself is modest and well-kept, with many opting to take their meals to-go or retreat to their cars. There's an ease to it all ample parking, friendly faces coming and going, a sense of community that lingers longer than the wait. Because that's the thing about places like this: they don't just feed you, they remind you why the wait was worth it.

We could tell they were being dishonest because she came back twice saying they say it's catfish. The waitress never came back to check on us after that. The chicken wings were undercooked The crawfish didn't really taste like live crawfish (I eat crawfish all the time and know the difference) We didn't complain just knew in that moment we would never come back. My husband went to pay and they had the nerve to charge him for that catfish. He said I sent it back because it's not what you advertised and the other waitress came from the back and confirmed it's swai. But still the manager continued to stand firm saying no refunds on food. He said it was posted.. my husband said where....It's on the napkin holder!!! No physical menus to look at. Deceitful To us it's about principle don't advertise your product as something it's not and expect people to pay for it when you admittedly said it was not catfish. This should be against the law.. one could be allergic to this fish. Anyways they were rude, not attentive, food undercooked, under seasoned crawfish.... I should have paid attention to the reviews I will just make the drive to the Mansfield Location they are the best of this franchise hands down. I wouldn't be surprised if this place closes in the next six months they need a lot of work!! Customer Satisfaction should be of utmost importance If a seafood place is not busy during crawfish season that is a red flag

We asked for a wine to be paired and our server paired a nice red for each of us. We had the redfish, which came with creamed potatoes and asparagus. All was very tasty. Also had the seared tuna with fries. The fries with thin and hot. Ask for the spicy aoli for the fries. The seared tuna was very nicely done. Service was great.
