I went there for the first time this morning and boy was I surprised. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. The potatoes were better than any other place I've been to out here. We were excited about a new breakfast spot opening close to home. The food was fresh and prepared as ordered. BUT ... THE SEATING IS SO UNCOMFORTABLE! I was also happy to see that they had choices other tha pork breakfast meats. I ordered turkey bacon & have no idea what I was served. It looked so unappealing that I did not eat it. The breakfast potatoes were very dry. The owner came to our table to ask what our opinion and what Improvements could be made. When I mentioned the very hard, uncomfotable seating, he said that he would be sure to have cushions in his NEXT restaurant. We told him the potatoes we're very dry and suggested, maybe adding onion or peppers to the potatoes. He seems irritated by that, so I never bothered to mention the "turkey bacon". Stand out breakfast experience. So glad we chose to travel a short distance off the strip to enjoy an Easter breakfast. The moment we walked through the door we felt like we were treated like family. Service here beautifully generous, I received wonderful recommendations for my family trio. The yogurts in the menu pictures are exactly how one would think by their size, nicely layered so a good mixing is a need for the syrups and fresh fruits. Salmon avocado toast is made perfectly in my personal preference. The rye toast isn't too toasted, a soft crunch and a plentiful smear of the avocado with surprisingly fat cuts of the salmon. The southwest chicken surprised me the most. It's grill chicken but it's not cooked where common breakfast/brunch makes it rubbery and I'm very fond of mushrooms so I was happy to see these big cuts of portobellos. I do recommend this place for anyone wanting to try somewhere new but I will say for this type of freshness has its value placed so it is definitely a choice for paying more than the common breakfast/brunch prices. The ingredients in the food are amazing. Great menu. But the attentiveness from the staff and owner is better than EVERY SINGLE FINE DINING RESTAURANT IN LAS VEGAS. They are so nice and so interested to make sure you enjoyed it. I hope they stay that way. The layout and design of the restaurant are also very well done. I love these people and it's my first time. Upon arrival everyone was nice and warm the waitress was sweet however, when ordering a bfast wrap, I requested if I could please have a side of sour cream. The waitress mentioned not being sure if they had some and that should've been my sign. Surprisingly she looks in the back and finds some which when putting some in my potatoes it was spoiled sour cream i had already put in my mouth. Im 8 months pregnant, i about threw up, they brought me another one but that had already messed with the taste of the rest of the food, and to top it off they charged us for it! read more

Breakfast snob here and I want to declare that I love this new modern restaurant. It's cute and inviting inside. The food was exceptional, with the corned beef hash being a standout for me. The toast and scrambled eggs are nice and fluffy. My sister took one bite of California benedict and said "oh sh*t I have to eat this whole thing" lol. I've been waiting for Sunset Grill to open, as I love new breakfast places to try. This place didn't disappoint. The employees are very friendly and immediately greeted me upon entry. The chef and the owner came over to my table to welcome me as well. I ordered the "Cinnabun" pancakes, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs & breakfast potatoes. My husband & I originally wanted to go to Snooze for breakfast this morning but unfortunately the restaurant was packed. So, my husband had suggested we try Sunset Grill. I was okay with the idea. Right when you walked in you can see the manager or the owner or whoever this man was , was really frustrated with his waitress. I forget her name but she was a really nice , skinny blonde girl. She seated us in her section. The service was super slow. Didn't get our drink order put in for like 10-15min, that was my first red flag. My husband ordered a cranberry juice which comes to my surprise we paid $3-$4 for OceanSpray cranberry juice to be poured in a glass cup. I ordered an iced latte and I didn't get that for an extra 15 - 20min. You can see all the food on under the heat lamps waiting to be brought out but nothing was being brought out. All the customers in the restaurant looked so hungry and wondering where the food was. The food was okay. Not horrible but in my opinion definitely overpriced for food I can make at home. The seating was also uncomfortable. Now , this whole time the waitress we had who I mentioned early in this review kept a positive attitude the whole time. Granted none of this is her fault , it's a holiday and probably short staffed , she just works there. But , my husband and I will not be returning. read more

If you're looking for a wonderful neighborhood restaurant, I recommend the Sunset Grill. This place, which opened just about a month ago, serves delicious foods made from the freshest ingredients. You can tell by the quality of the dishes that Chef Joe loves cooking. While we were there, Chef Joe brought us a tasty new dish he had just invented. It was a delicious creamy mushroom and potato soup. It's not yet on the menu, but I hope it gets added soon. You will enjoy the friendly service Server Ann provides. She is a joy to talk with. My friend ordered the Eggs Benedict. She says the hollandaise, which is made fresh every morning, is the best she's tasted. I ordered and enjoyed the avocado toast. There's a delicious-looking berry parfait that my friend and I were going to order but we were too full. We will get that next time. read more

Picky pregnant lady here. Woke up craving eggs Benedict - found this place right down the street. Called and ordered the eggs sunset. Absolutely incredible. Large portions delicious hollandaise perfectly poached eggs. What more can you ask for? I ordered a breakfast 3 eggs sausage home fries and toast, pretty simple breakfast. The cook either doesn't understand what soft scramble is or has no interest in preparing the food to the customers liking . This place just recently opened. I will not be eating there in the future. read more
