Awesome service and cute little patio! My mom, newborn son, and I came here today for some breakfast and to enjoy the nice weather! They were super accommodating to us and making sure we had enough space for the carrier and weren't in the sun. I got an oat milk mocha to start. It was really light in color but tasted good, though I couldn't really taste the espresso much. For our meals I got the huevos rancheros without eggs or chorizo, and my mom got eggs, bacon, and gluten free toast. Good was ready fast and portions were a good size, we both had leftovers! Only complaint was that my food was slightly cold, like the cheese was not even melted. They have a big menu here, lots to choose from. The breakfast cocktails look good too. Would come back for sure! read more

Unique breakfast café. Unique because few breakfast spots have a full bar. We saw many guests sipping a Bloody Mary or Mimosa while enjoying their breakfasts. The pancakes looked delicious, with lots of various toppings. Our table had a very attentive server, who kept the coffee cups and water glasses full. The place is clean and has a light, bright decor. Our service was very good. Our server was friendly and attentive. Our food came out super fast. Too fast because some of my food was undercooked. I had the All American. The eggs were undercooked. I ordered them over medium but the white was runny and way undercooked. The breakfast potatoes are cut and tasted like undercooked au Gratin potatoes. The toast was good but very dry and could have used more butter. The bacon was cooked nicely and very flavorful. My dining partner said the biscuits and gravy were delicious. The biscuit was cooked perfectly and not dry. His potatoes were also undercooked. The drinks were very weak and lacked some flavor. They'd probably get more business from me if they just improved the menu. I'm usually already there for the games - just please consider people who are trying to be a little healthier when developing your menu!

We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp, a favorite of ours. The flavor was great as always, although this batch seemed to have a little more batter than usual. Not a big issue, just something we noticed. We ordered the lobster sliders to split and they were great. The order comes with three sliders, and each one was generously filled with chunks of lobster. I also loved the addition of diced tomato and avocado, which added texture. The sliders were a good size. We added a side of truffle fries, which unfortunately fell flat. They looked like regular fries and, while they did have some truffle flavor, they were missing the Parmesan cheese and seasoning that typically make truffle fries stand out. They were okay, but a bit disappointing. We had a nice lunch. The only downside was the price. For one appetizer, one lunch entrée, fries, and one cocktail the total came to over $75, which felt a little steep for lunch. The flavors were good, especially the honey smoked salmon, but unfortunately it had very little jalapeño cream cheese. Without it, the flatbread was a little dry. I also would have loved a little more chili oil and lemon. The cream cheese would have added the richness it needed. Thankfully, our other dishes were great. We ordered the Smorgasbord, which is consistently fabulous, and split the Humble Caesar, one of our all-time favorites. Those two dishes never disappoint. Humble Bistro continues to be one of favorites. If I order The Kosher again I would ask they make sure and add cream cheese.

Uber/Lyft would be my recommendation, but there is a paid parking garage down a couple of streets. We didn't need a reservation since we had a small party, but I would recommend if if you're coming with a party of four or more. We sat at the bar and ordered four dishes from different categories, which was a great way to sample the menu; though honestly I think we probably could have gotten away with just 3 dishes for a party of 2. We tried Yam Mamuang Boran (old-style green mango salad), Boo Pad Pong Garee (crab curry with ginger), Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai (dry tom yum with wide noodles), and Naem Khao Tot (crispy rice salad with fermented pork sausage). The noodles and salad were definitely my favorite though everything was seasoned really well and incredibly flavorful. What I loved most was how thoughtfully prepared everything felt. Sometimes it absolutely amazes me what people will complain about. Some girl that posted was offended and felt she was being profiled as a bilingual hispanic, and persecuted because she was overcharged on a minimum party gratuity because one person didn't show? Jesus, are you kidding me. This person that posted the review, who's name begins with an "A", compliments the food as excellent, but the service was bad ? Seriously stop, just stop ! You have no idea what you are talking about, not a clue. Every single server that works there is outstanding, and nobody attends that restaurant more than I do, so yes, I have the right to say what is not an opinion, but a fact, period. Jodie, Nathan, Key, Tonya, Ava, Bree, Raya, Julie, Lexie, Arlo, and several more work their tails off to please every single person that walks in to eat. These are not servers, they are family, so do me a favor ? Don't say anything to criticize this group of extraordinary people. If you were really in the service industry, you should understand how hard waiting tables on people who complain over nothing is, or others that try to play the race card when it is not applicable. We had a fantastic brunch at Sunnyside Breakfast Bar! From the moment we sat down, D took great care of us and made us feel genuinely welcome. The service was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. I ordered the Sunnyside Burger, and it may honestly be one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly flavorful, and exceeded all expectations. Suzanne had the veggie omelet along with a caramel mocha, and she couldn't stop talking about how delicious they were. There were 5 of us and we tried something different everyday. Eggs Benedict, Apple Crumb pancakes, Blueberry and Bacon Pancakes, Avocado Toast, Omelettes and the POTATOES!!! I had the breakfast yogurt parfait, while my wife ordered avocado toast with bacon and two eggs. Both dishes were tasty; the bacon was thick and not overly crispy. Got a double shot of espresso with a separate glass of milk, and cup of ice to make my own latte. New Mexico Skillet with over easy eggs: Eggs were drenched in oil yet, remarkably, the best part of this dish. The hash browns were sliced rounds of undercooked, unseasoned potatoes. They were topped with onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes, all unseasoned and dismally soft. It was sprinkled with cheese, and a pile of chorizo just dumped in one spot on the plate. Certainly seemed cooked separately as nothing meshed on the plate. Oh, and a few sad pieces of underripe avocado. This American cuisine was devoid of character and taste. We took a few bites of each item, looked at each other in disappointment, and gladly left the remainder on the table. Avoid if you have taste buds accustomed to good food.
