Joined the waitlist through Yelp and a table was ready about a minute after we arrived. Service was great, I believe Michelle was our waitress and she was very nice. Ordered the mimosa flight- prickly pear and orange juice. Delicious!! We both ended up getting the almond croissant French toast. Wow soooooooo good! Comes with 2 toasts, I wish it was 3 or 4 lol. We added Sunshine to our brunch rotation about 2 years ago and are so happy we did. If you are looking for a quick grab and go on a Saturday during peak brunch time this is not it and for good reason. This is an intimate smaller space with an amazing front of house and back of house staff. We have tried almost everything here and nothing has disappointed. Yes the wait times can be longer on Saturday and Sunday but for good reason. Good things come to those who wait. My family and I have been coming for years and received good food and good service. We unfortunately just had to leave because we arrived a party of 9 (4 kids), we were waiting for about 10 minutes when 2 more groups arrived. A smaller one and another group of 10. We were on the yelp waitlist 1st in line and I saw both groups after us. They sat the group of 10 before us (maybe 5 mins after they arrived) even though we had been waiting for 10+ minutes when they even first arrived. We decided to leave and our table wasn't even finished being set up and the other group had already been sat for a few minutes. When we told hostess they said it depended on group size but I told them, it was basically the same group size so that makes no sense. While we were driving away we barely got the message our table was ready. It's really unfortunate this happened because we go to sunshine at least 2-3x a month as it's one of our favorite spots so we feel really disappointed. read more

Delicious breakfast spot with terrific service. We have contemplated eating here several times but it always seems to be very busy. Today we got on the virtual waitlist before we left the house. It's no wonder why they are so popular- food was delicious and our waitress, Emily, was so friendly & attentive. The blueberry granola pancakes are amazing. I drive out of my way for those. I prefer Ollie Vaughn's lemon ricotta pancakes over Sunshine's. I'm also not the biggest fan of lemon. If you like a lot of lemon you might prefer Sunshine's. read more

We came around 0715 and we were seated right away. Melissa was very helpful and attentive. Everything was delicious. They also have GF options. I ordered the GF pancake, i'd say it was decent. We stopped in yesterday morning for breakfast based on all the great reviews I saw mentioning how good the food was (especially the eggs Benedict). And I have to admit the reviews and hype were right. The traditional eggs Benedict I ordered were delicious and the the eggs were perfectly cooked. The home fries that came with were perfectly seasoned (and I am normally one that adds salt to almost everything.) My husband had the special Pumpkin Cinnamon Roll Waffle and added on 2 eggs scrambled and bacon. His waffle was the perfect balance of sweetness. (Sometimes things can be overdone, but this one was great.) The bacon was crispy and delicious. He said the regular coffee he got was great too. Our server Dana was excellent and very attentive. Since we used the waitlist feature in Yelp we didn't have any wait, but when we got there about 845am on a Tuesday there was not a wait anyway. We did opt to sit outside which was great and even though it was a bit chilly the outdoor heaters made it the perfect environment. I had occasion to use the bathroom and it was spotless. The pricing for the meal was decent. The ala cart items (like eggs, bacon, and coffee) did add up and made our bill a little higher than expected, but all in all it was a great visit and we would totally come back. read more

The cafe is cute, medium sized with a small outdoor area that's dog friendly. I tried the Greek avocado toast which was yummy, a little messy to eat but full of flavor. The sweet cream pancakes are delicious!! I like that they are just a tiny bit crispy and not too sweet. My husband got the eggs Benedict and said it was average, not a ton of flavor.
