My prime rib eggs Benedict yum yum
    Randy G.

I haven't done a review in a minute, but this place needs to be bragged about, I had the prime rib eggs Benedict, with potatoes. MAN! Let me tell you ! My mouth sent me a thank you card, the flavor is amazing, PRIME RIB was tender, I literally cut it with a butter knife, the bread was soft and crunchy at the same time made fresh from panorama bakery made fresh everyday ( I know RIGHT!), it was buttery and soo Delicious , the addition of the avocado sent the flavor beyond any eggs Benedict I've had before, and if you follow me you know I order it often. The potatoes: the potatoes were savory as well, you could think it's just a potato dude calm down, NO I WON'T CALM DOWN, OK maybe I will I'm embarrassing my wife standing on the table right now ‍, but these once dirty ugly vegetable was magically transformed into a cube food for the gods! The flavor was something that made you eat slower to savor every bite, and when combined with the eggs Benedict give me a euphoric feeling that this place may be too good for me, don't get me wrong it very casual place, but the food "OMA GAUD!" They should require suit and ties . I live an Vacaville, would I drive 45 minutes for just a breakfast...NO, BUT for this one, oh yeah!! Smiling All the way,

Chicken Chorizo Skillet with poached eggs and a house-made flour tortilla!

UPDATE! We were just in the Cafe for brunch and they have a special that deserves mention: Chicken Chorizo Skillet. It comes with house made tortillas and two eggs any style. This dish is next level delicious and worth a drive. If you delay and don't see it on the menu, ask for it. We need this to become a regular!!

This place was cute and our food was good! I had the Benedict with a side chocolate chip pancakes. my latte was watery so not a big fan of the coffee and i think one of our orders didn't get put in so it was a little late but no biggie. the food was good and would go again!

We had a nice experience here. Food was absolutely wonderful. Service was prompt and professional, although perhaps slightly rushed and to-the-point, although personally I like that. There was no wait for a table, although it was reasonably busy for a weekday. I bet on weekends it's absolutely hopping! The breakfast quesadilla was delicious and my BF was happy with his huevos rancheros. The one thing I wasn't completely satisfied with was the coffee - not sure if it was just a bad batch, because some of the other reviews mentioned it was good, but I thought it was pretty bad. Not undrinkable, but for $11 for two cups, I would like it be at least be decent. It's not a cheap restaurant, but the food is great, the portions are sizable, and we are in Napa, after all. We'll be back for sure, but we'll skip the coffee, and you should, too :)

Great spot for a tasty meal. Huge menu included breakfast items all day. The garden omelette was delicious! The spinach quesadilla filled with cheese was also very good.

We came here for breakfast our last day in Napa. I had the huevos rancheros and it was fine. The food was fresh, the chips were crispy, my egg was cooked over medium and the beans and rice were good. Next time I'll try another dish. My friend had an omelette with potatoes, also good. We enjoyed the coffee as well. The servers were friendly and the space was crowded.

Loooove Sunshine Cafe! We came here after a hike and saw the great reviews and had to try it. The decor is so cute! And it's surprisingly big on the inside in addition to having a lot of outdoor seating. 10-15 minute wait on a weekend to be seated wasn't bad at all! The service was awesome and quick :) my friend got the meat lover omelette and I got a couple eggs and bacon. Cooked perfectly and tasted great. Definitely recommend.

A traditional American breakfast/lunch spot with big portions :) We had the chicken waffle, biscuits with gravy, and a quesadilla. Everything was tasty, with the waffle being particularly fresh and well-textured. Quesadilla was marked as hot dish, but it wasn't. The service was quick and efficient, and the outdoor seating was great. Also, there is available parking lot.

    Raspberry and peach mimosa.

Cute little spot with farm vibes. They are quite busy. Wait staff was nice but they are so busy it's hard to be attentive. Mimosa wasn't sweet, Boozy hot chocolate was strong, so beware. Lol. Some of the best potatoes I've ever had. Biscuits were a bit hard and lacking flavor. Overall nice cafe.

Y'all know he was expecting the macchiato to look like the one from that major chain. Apparently that made that up and it's not a traditional macchiato. Who knew. The fruit with his French toast was super fresh. Being from the St Louis Metro we don't really get fruit that fresh. So it was a treat. The chocolate croissant was a gift because we had a delay in our food being brought out. It was nice and flaky. Very delicious. A family came in for a little kid's birthday. It was quick. I placed my order and asked for muffins, but was told they were sold out. I could clearly see five on the counter, and the employee explained they were already spoken for. I mentioned my kid would be disappointed and asked if there was anything they could do. One employee immediately said no, while another kindly checked in the back and was able to find one muffin for us, which I appreciated. A little later I noticed packaged muffins in the display case and asked if I could buy those, but again was told no. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse from there. I realized after leaving that I never received the pizza I had ordered, and the avocado toast made me extremely sick. I spent the rest of the day dealing with what felt like serious food poisoning. I called afterward to request a refund ( I only asked to refund the avocado toast and the pizza) and left a voicemail. No one returned my call. I called again and spoke with someone who said the manager had just left and would call me back. Again, no response. They mentioned refunding my card and I gave my card digits, but I'm pretty sure I had actually paid cash. Either way, I mainly wanted to speak with a manager about the situation, and no one ever followed up. What's especially disappointing is that I live nearby, come here often, and genuinely love this place. That's why this experience was so frustrating. I understand busy weekends happen, but the lack of communication and follow-up after getting sick was really disappointing.

Model Bakery comes along and casually reminds you that even simple things can be incredible when done properly. The place itself is straightforward with no real indoor seating that we saw, but there's a nice patio and the smell alone is enough to pull you in. Everything felt fresh and warm. We also grabbed a croissant, which absolutely held its own Parking? Lot We had English Muffin (5/5): these are absurdly good. The kind of thing you plan to buy one of and somehow leave with a dozen. They smell almost like donuts when they're warm, with this buttery, slightly sweet aroma that hits you before the first bite. Lightly toasted, they develop the perfect crunch on the outside while staying soft and airy inside. Honestly, all they need is butter. They're great on their own, even better with oatmeal and coffee Croissant (4.5/5): really solid croissant. Soft, buttery, and clearly made with care. It had that delicate pull and layered texture you want without becoming overly heavy or greasy. My only complaint is that it deserved butter and jam on the side to really complete the experience. I'll admit, I was a little worried before booking because of some of the reviews I had read. But after staying here, I can honestly say those concerns didn't match my experience at all. Whatever issues others may have had, they certainly weren't part of our stay. The location is hard to beat. Being right along the Napa River makes a huge difference. Morning coffee by the water with the walking path just steps away sets the tone for the whole day. It feels peaceful and tucked away, yet you're still within easy walking distance to downtown Napa's tasting rooms, restaurants, and shops. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable without feeling overly fancy or pretentious. The bed was great, the bathroom was well-appointed, and I appreciated the little details that made the stay feel thoughtful. If you can get a river-facing room, it's worth it. The outdoor spaces are really what make this place special. There's something about sitting outside in the evening with a glass of wine, watching the river drift by, that just feels very "Napa." Service was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The staff really stood out -- especially the woman working in the café in the morning. She was warm, upbeat, and genuinely made the start of the day feel special. It's those small personal touches that elevate a stay from good to memorable. Another big plus: they offer free EV charging, which was a great perk and made the trip even more convenient. It's always nice to see properties thinking about sustainability and guest convenience at the same time. It also shares a parking lot with San Francisco's famous The Slanted Door, which makes grabbing an incredible meal ridiculously easy. Having that level of dining right next door is a huge bonus. If you're looking for a luxury mega-resort, this isn't that -- and that's a good thing. The only redeeming quality of this hotel is the patio and riverfront setting, which is genuinely beautiful. Unfortunately, that alone isn't enough to justify the price or make up for the poor service and underwhelming accommodations. There are far better options in Napa.
