They sent Thomas out to take a look, he was very up front about the condition of the unit and advised that there was alot of issues, which we totally get. He was very thorough and took a lot of reference photos and explained what he was doing. We agreed to look at getting a new system and set up a meeting with Kyle for later the afternoon. Kyle was also amazing and went over the pricing and options, you never want to pay for a new AC unit but it's a necessity here so and they made sure we had a great deal. They've worked on my 2017 Ford Transit Connect, 2014 Mercedes GL63, and 2014 BMW X5. They replaced a driver-side CV axle, did oil changes, replaced brake pads and rotors, diagnosed and fixed an A/C and heater blower issue, repaired a trunk/liftgate problem, and also replaced a valve cover and gasket and battery. What stood out to me most was how knowledgeable, honest, and fair Samson and his team were throughout the process. The staff are friendly, the front desk is welcoming, and the customer service has been great. It's hard to find a shop that does quality work at reasonable prices, but 916 Auto Repair has done that for me. Definitely recommended.

My AC Drier was cracked and inoperable since last year. In this region of the Sacramento Valley and Placer County, 916 Auto quote beat 5 shops I contacted in the region and 1 shop even told me it's not worth it and I should get a new car. Bet if my car was a 69 Camaro, they'd do it. Why? Cause its a Classic Camaro. No matter the condition. Some shops don't want to work on Imports. But oh well. Their loss, not mine. I contacted 916 Auto and spoke to Samson to schedule an appointment and he said to come by that very same day. And so I drove from Roseville to Gold River that morning. Samson is honest & to the point. When he pulled my car in, he noticed a coolant leak. Now I didn't notice any leaks in my driveway, as it would seem the Coolant is evaporating or dissipating, but he notice it was getting on my Alternator, by the stains. It turns out, my OEM water pump (factory part since 2003 for this model year in 2004) finally gave out at 262K miles. Who'd ever think a Mazda/Ford part would last this long. This was an unexpected thought as I only had budgeted for the quote. So I called my CFO (Wife) and let her know of the issue. She said get it fixed and she'll adjust other expenses as she knows I need AC for the upcoming summer temps. So I authorized Samson to proceed with the entire job. Now I can't couldn't do any price comparison, but he did give me a discount which still fit in my overall budget. I spent my whole day in their lobby. They have updated their lobby to make it feel more comfortable and less Auto Shop feel. I notice the many people who drop by to have their car service are all happy and are returning customers. From a Dealership oil drain plug that was torqued too tight, to oil changes, brakes, and even a customer who was a bit upset where the Dealership sent the wrong part twice. The Dealership. I spoke to many of them and they all had the same answer when I ask. "What made you come here?" They replied, "Their price can't be beat!". In summary, my AC is now working as it should. Now I only used my AC for 2 whole days It gets cold and it has been awhile since I have felt cold in my aging car of 22 years. With my new water pump installed as well, my car is running smoother overall. Smoother shifts, heater gets warm fast. Almost, now almost like it was in 2004. So, Did I find a new shop for my Project Commuter Car? Yes I sure did. They have gotten a new customer. Up next is my Transmission Gasket & plug. One thing at a time! They even found dry rot that needed repairing, which we would have not known, had it not been for their attention to detail. After evaluating some other quotes, we decided to go with Alex's company. From that time on, Alex and crew did a fine job. They scheduled a time for the work, arrived on time, and did a superb job fixing our roof and cleaning the gutters. We believe they went above and beyond what they estimated they would do to make our roof water-tight. Once the work was completed, we found one of our gutters was leaking a lot of water after a torrential downpour. I let Alex know, and he immediately sent one of his men back to fix the issue. Overall, Alex Perez's Roofing did a stellar job with our roof. I have one suggestion for the improvement: Alex should improve his post-work processes. When I asked Alex for a receipt of the work, he said yes. But I never got it. So, I had to call his office a few times. The first time, the office manager didn't reply. The second time, she sent the wrong receipt showing just the initial deposit. The third time, she sent the right receipt showing the final zero balance. In sum, we highly recommend Alex Perez's Roofing for their professional work. If it hadn't been for all the times we had to contact them to get the receipt, we would have given them five stars.

Additionally, a portion of my gutters had detached from the roof causing water to spill out everywhere. The gutter section appeared broken and I believed it needed to be replaced. I triple bid the work, and the quote from Jonathan was on-par with the quotes from the other two licensed individuals I received bids from However, Jonathan was the only person who didn't try to upsell me on additional work or services. He is a very earnest person who clearly cares about his team and the quality of work they provide to clients. This integrity and professionalism extended to the gentlemen who came to do the cleaning and repairs. Samuel and Daniel arrived promptly at the scheduled time this morning (when does that EVER happen?), and were very polite and communicative about the process. As they began their work, they realized the detached section of gutters wouldn't need to be replaced, but could be reattached and properly secured again. I wouldn't have known that the work wasn't necessary, but they were honest and upfront and saved me literally half of what I had initially been quoted. Additionally, they reattached downspouts that were questionably secured, and did a spectacular job cleaning out the gutters and downspouts (see the before and after pictures). An important note for the women who might be home alone- Jonathan, Samuel, and Daniel are all incredibly respectful and professional, and are safe people to have working at the house.
