    Fried calamari

Located at the Walmart shopping center in Kapolei but as you turn in from the stoplight make your first right. This area has a number of food joints with this one being SUPER!!! It's cozy with 7 (4) seat tables that can move around to accommodate large parties. The servers are attentive making sure our waters were filled and to see if we needed anything. The food is superb. We ordered the fried calamari that's crispy and served with a sweet chili. The Pad Thai is full of flavor. I enjoyed the green curry with the bamboo shoots, eggplants and basil leaves. There are spices at the table to add to your liking. They also offer affordable combo plates that are not shy on portions that allow you to get several dishes for under $21. I do recommend this place, try it out

This place is yummy,. Everything is made to order it's fresh and you can get it quickly. You can take it out to go or sit in and eat there. They have a variety of foods they have mixed plates where you can try a couple of their dishes. And they even have fried chicken. It makes my family happy with all their different varieties. And they have vegan/vegetarian options. This is my go to when my family wants to do takeout, and I want them to have a healthier option.

Chef Supa DeRose and family were initially owners of the Malee Thai Restaurant at the Sam Sung Plaza on Keeaumoku St in Honolulu from 2014 to 2020. After its closure, they opened Supa Thai in March 2022 in Kapolei and is doing well. Chef Supa is inspired by her family's farm in Central Thailand. Supa Thai Restaurant is known for its flavorful and popular dishes, e.g., pad Thai, curries, crispy pork chops, fried chicken, and basil noodles. Menu items include appetizers (spring/summer rolls, satay); combo plates (curries + spring rolls + Jasmine rice); desserts (mango with sticky rice, tapiocas, rotee); and drinks (Thai ic tea, Thai iced coffee, sodas). Portions are generous, fresh ingredients are used, and prices are reasonable. It was our first time at Supa Thai, and we ordered: * Pineapple curry with chicken. This curry was very flavorful and included red curry paste, coconut milk, fresh pineapple, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, and basil. One does not normally see pineapple curry on the menu, so we were surprised to see it! We ordered some Jasmine rice with a ton of chicken slices into the curry, and went to town with the added spicy condiments and crushed peanuts! An enjoyable rich curry entrée! Forgot to order the curry medium hot, so we used the restaurant's handy housemade 4-bottled hot spiced variety. * Fried chicken. This was boneless chicken seasoned with Thai spices and deep fried until golden brown and served with sweet chili sauce. Fried super crisp and piping hot out of the fryer, a delicious side dish with sweet sour sauce! * Mango with sticky rice. The best yet to come, cold Hayden mango with warm coconut milk sticky rice! I could have easily eaten another plateful of dessert! Kudos to the single staff server who held the busy dine-in area that seats about 20, with all tables (except a two-seater) taken during the busy lunch hour! She managed to bring out water glasses and utensils, take/serve orders, replenish water glasses, bring out take-home containers, and processed bill payments. Watching her allowed the entire process to be such a calming nature, with all enjoying their lunch meals. The small restaurant is clean, with a nice Thai ambiance. Hours of operation are daily from 10:30a to 9p. Located next to Panda Express in a small strip mall near Walmart. Drive onto the right side of the restaurant for drive-through pick-up; park on the left side for dine-in. Yes, we see this as a favorite Thai restaurant for us, despite living so far away; but perhaps this will be an excuse for us to to visit Kapolei more often! Generous portions, fresh ingredients, affordable combo plates, and delicious food are great factors in making this restaurant a successful one!

We went Supa Thai cause we were craving Pad Thai noodles so I got the shrimp pad Thai mom and wife got something else. We had to do take out cause was busy and never enough seats for all of us, my mom got the Tea and she said it was good first time for her to go there it's a good place to eat

For those people looking for excellent Thai Food you have to venture out to Kapolei and check out Supa Thai because the Thai Food here really really good. And if you love Crispy Fried Pork Chops and Fried Chicken, man oh man you will absolutely love it here. Love the Sweet Chili Sauce that it comes with as well. To be honest I would just come here for the Pork Chops and Fried Chicken and some Sticky Rice and I'm good But there are other items i highly recommend especially the Stir Fried Chow Fun with Shrimp,Crab Fried Rice,Khao Soi (Thai Laksa) and the Pineapple Curry with Duck. And you have to save room for the Roti with Vanilla Ice Cream . It's so damn good!!! And the best part? It's BYOB Supa Thai is definitely a hidden gem and if you're ever in the area, definitely recommend

We came to Supa Thai around 7:15 pm on a Friday and immediately loved the cozy "hole-in-the-wall" vibe. It's small but inviting and by the time we sat down (no wait!), the place filled up quickly. Despite being packed, service was super efficient -- our appetizer came out within 3-5 minutes, and entrées followed about 10-15 minutes later. What we ordered: Summer Rolls: The peanut sauce stole the show! It's creamier and more peanut-forward than the usual Vietnamese-style, with a subtle kick. Pad Thai (Shrimp): Perfect balance of sweet and savory with generous shrimp. The fresh bean sprouts and crushed peanuts added a satisfying crunch. Crab Fried Rice: Not listed on the menu, but we spotted it on Yelp and asked -- they do make it! Mild curry undertones gave the rice a warm yellow-brown color, and there were visible chunks of real crab. The flavor is mild, not overpowering, and pairs so well with the Panang curry. Panang Curry (Pork): Our favorite dish of the night. Creamy coconut and peanut notes with a mild-medium spice level. We didn't adjust the spice but you probably could. Curry is a La carte and you will need to order rice to go with it (It does mention it on the menu). Roti with Ice Cream: Think a warm, flaky fried naan-meets-donut topped with ice cream and condensed milk -- lightly crisp on the outside, chewy inside, and the perfect sweet ending. We were bummed they weren't serving calamari that night, but honestly, it gives us a reason to come back. Portions: Generous -- easily shareable between 1-3 people depending on how hungry you are. Parking: Plenty available nearby. Ambiance: Casual but cute -- string lights, a little photo wall, and kpop music make it great for a casual date or dinner with friends. Service: Friendly, fast, and attentive even as it got busier. Overall, Supa Thai feels like one of those local gems where you instantly want to come back to try everything else on the menu. Highly recommend the Panang curry and crab fried rice for a perfect bite!

The fried chicken is bomb and should be the reason you come to Supa Thai. Perfectly fried with a good meat-to-fat ratio. You can get as an appetizer or with a meal, but it's perfect and comes with a sweet chili dipping sauces. Small casual spot with maybe 8 tables, but the service is super quick and the portions largeeee. I got pad Thai, which wasn't as sweet as I'm used to, but was so big that it fed me for both lunch and dinner. Very good spot, enjoy your chicken.

This has quickly become my favorite Thai restaurants on the Westside of the Island and should be your go to place for authentic Thai food! I'm a repeat customer and have decided to use my writing skills to write this review at 0220am because they deserve it. It's a small Thai restaurant tucked away in the shopping centers next to Walmart with plenty of parking! Service has always been fast and friendly. It's a casual dining atmosphere. Food is reasonably priced and they give decent portions of chicken in their dishes. I have not been disappointed by a menu item yet. I have a lot of favorite dishes, but tried Koh Samui for the first time. Delish! If you love eating Thai food or just want to try something new, do yourself a favor and go here. Your taste buds will thank you!

I love this Thai place in Kapolei, the service here is great as well I never ever run into problems when ordering from here...weather it's phone order, online uber eats orders, or ordering in ! The mango sticky rice is just perfect for my preference, the mango is freshly cut and layered on top a bed of rice soaked with coconut milk! It's delicious if you love coconut milk! The Thai tea is my favorite as well, they make it a little on the sweet side which I love ! The spring rolls are best wrapped in a lettuce and dipped in the sweet and sour sauce they provide, the church you'll get will bring you back for more ! This is my first time trying the Pad Thai and let me tell you....its so delicious!!! The fried tofu and bean sprouts are the perfect texture inside the Pad Thai , it's not soggy or drenched in the sauce they pour on the noodles it's just perfect! If you love noodles, fried eggs, beef, fried tofu, and bean sprouts, this Pad Thai definitely for you!

Ordered off door dash as I was craving mango sticky rice and good Thai food. One of the best Thai spots on island! The mango sticky rice was 10/10 - the best I've had. The portion of the garlic chicken was huge! I had 2 meals from this. Everything arrived hot and fresh.

We specifically came out to support our friend who was the musical talent providing the live entertainment from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and the vibe was so good that we stayed all the way until 9:00 PM. Because we arrived during the last 30 minutes of happy hour, we immediately ordered a major spread of pupus from the Pau Hana menu. We shared the lechon style brussel sprouts, hand-cut fries, steamed shrimp & pork won tons, scallion bread, and fish tacos. Every single bite was delicious. I paired the food with a Hana Koa Roof Top Pale Ale from their local drafts list, which was crisp and excellent. After happy hour wrapped up, I moved on to the dinner menu and ordered the Half Pound House Burger and fries for my entree. The burger was perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. Overall, the food and ambiance were absolutely outstanding, and the service was prompt, attentive, and friendly from start to finish. Our server informed us that it had been off and on for the past week, but went down since Friday. Not good for only being open for a year. They only had appetizers and salads, along with their bar, which offers a wide range of beers and wine by the glass, along with cocktails. Since we were technically "working", that had to wait for another time. Our server, Erin, was so nice and apologetic, even tho it wasn't her fault. For obvious reasons it was fairly slow, for a normal Sunday lunch crowd. Since we were pressed for time, we ended up just ordering a couple of appetizers; the sausage bites and chicken. They were both tempura style battered, and served with sauce or mustard on the side. The sausage had a slight spice to it, which was nice, and it was served piping hot pot of the fryer. A fork would've been nice, but they were small enough to eat by hand, but be careful, because they're pretty tough to bite thru. The chicken bites were smaller and easier to handle, although they were a bit dry, so the ranch furikake dipping sauce helped. We were out within 20 minutes, so very fast, and I'm hoping the griddle gets repaired soon, so I can try their burgers.

We ordered a couple of pizzas, some pasta and dumplings. My grandkids were there so they both got kid's meals. I'm not really a big pizza or italian pasta guy so can't really say it was AWESOME or average. I liked it and it tasted good but your mileage may vary. Everyone did like what they had so that's all that mattered. Unfortunately my grandson's meal (chicken tenders) was cold like out of the ref kind. My wife brought it to our servers attention and she was quick to take it back and bring us another one. To their credit they took that off of our bill and 2 of the management people came to apologize and check on us. I did have a good experience during my lunch experience. My friend and I got there at opening and were the only ones in there for awhile. Menus and water came right away. We both ordered the cheeseburger on the salad (forgot what it was called). I spied that when I was there for dinner but we did family style so I didn't order it. I'll admit I'm not a burger connoisseur so I couldn't say it's the best burger you are ever going to have but I liked it and it tasted good. I was a little surprised they didn't ask how I wanted the burger cooked. Because we were there so early and the place was empty we were there for over 2 hours which was cool.

On this occasion, a few weeks ago, APRIL 3rd to be exact, it was probably not the best service I have had here, as Brandon being my bartender. What saved it, was the support from Sky (who seems to be in training still) and Carali. I always enjoy the ambiance too especially during happy hour when there is barely people in the bar and it's a random weekday. Let's start off with the drinks, always great... i get the sparkling mango sangria. You can never go wrong with this and the drink was pretty good! My friend did ask for water. At this point, there was only two other parties at the bar. It was a very slow bar. We had ordered some spinach dip (because it's a must) and some dynamite shrimp. The dip was a bit colder than I had expected and hoped it would be, so I sent it back with Carali as she was still in the bar and was the one to drop it. This came back nice and warm to my liking from the manager. I was confused as to who my bartender was because aside from the drink, he didn't really check on us or anything. I got checked on more by Carali and the other guy in training. The energy was just not there, which kind of brought the mood down Luckily the food never disappoints and was on point at the end. It was sad the dip wasn't warm, but they made up for it. The dynamite shrimp was nice and crisp, which had a sauce that was just a touch spicy, but not. Oh yeah, after the spinach dip coming back, I finally got to ask for the water again as we were still waiting for it. I really do overall enjoy coming here and will be back still! I just want to make sure I got that right bartender. There's also another local lady who is amazing, but i forgot her name. Ambiance is nice and clean, bathroom cleanliness is everything and that deserves an A+. I do sometimes feel the floor is a bit sticky. I do love my spinach dip and garlic cream fettuccini! I do really hope to have Carali as my server/bartender! She is always attentive, quick, and easy to talk to! Very good with her server intuition! I also miss having Jayna or Jana as my server. She is pretty on point too! I need to come back for my butter cake! I still want to try the flight!
