This is my go to spot for Chinese food when I don't feel like being bothered with an overly crowded atmosphere. The staff is always nice. They have all the basics and they even have sushi which is delicious! I love their egg drop soup, salmon, green beans, General TSO's chicken, and pepper chicken. They also have soft serve ice cream too. You don't find that at other Chinese buffet restaurants. That's another reason why I like to visit here as well. Plus, it's very clean! It seems odd to me when snapping green beans is done in dining room by Chinese lady - is this normal at Chinese restaurants because I have seen it at other Chinese places - food was ok had better - service was zero had better at McDonald's drive thru - lunch buffet should include drink instead it is extra - and somehow they expect a tip - no thanks! read more

Super China Buffet is an authentic Chinese restaurant with great prices! There are lots of options for all ages but the seats were a bit whacked up with the springs low and high and a whole in the back. I come back frequently and it is the same waiters and owner to give a sorta homey feel! Overall good quality and I recommend it. read more

We drive 30min roundtrip when there are 8 Chinese restaurants within 2 miles of our home and several that will deliver. We stumbled on this one late at night. Have not eaten at the restaurant but use CARRYOUT and it is now without a doubt the only place we will go get carry out Chinese on the east side of Indy. We've had the Mongolian Beef, the Beef Kung Pow, the Beef Chow Mei Fun several times (3 meals in a box), their Chicken on a Stick is the BEST (get 2, you'll want them later), the Nicest Crab Rangoon flavor we've had any where in Indiana. read more

I give this place 3 stars because the food there was fairly good, but after my mom started getting red bumps and allergies while others where having stomachaches. If this had not happened then this place would be getting a five star. The price for all of my family was very unreasonably high. read more

I like this spot always quick and the servers are nice. I've never sat down inside and eaten as to I prefer to get carry out, but they are always courteous and prompt with my order. Best Chinese food I've had, consistently. I usually get for take out. Never been disappointed. Food is always fresh, cooked just right and tasty! To my surprise, I really enjoyed this buffet. It is no frills American style Chinese food. You get your own drinks and silverware which I really appreciated because I drink quite a bit and hate having to wait until the wait staff notice I need a refill. The taste of all the things I tried was delicious except for the hot and sour soup which I thought was bland, but both my dad and fiancee enjoyed it, so that may just be personal preference. We let the staff know that the soda syrup was out on something we were drinking and they refilled it within 5 minutes! I'm generally a tough sell on restaurants in general, but this place definitely met my expectations and it was a great price. Going back for dinner tonight- willing to pay the Sunday premium price of $8.99 per person plus drink and tax because we were so impressed yesterday. read more

Great value, been going there for years, well over 100 times. The workers are nice; not having the best English seems to have given some other reviewers a bad experience, but I only have positive things to say. The pepper chicken, general Tso's, and egg foo young are my favorites. The Sushi isn't freshly made, but it's AYCE on a Buffet for $6.99, and given that, it's pretty good. read more

Of course its your typically Chinese Buffet, decor and everything. The difference is in the food. Everything was very good, especially for a week day night. I have this little habit that I do where I ALWAYS have to try the soups. I opt to try the egg drop and wonton soup this time (Sour Hot n Sour) but the flavors were very good. One thing I CAN NOT stand is "gloopy" soup, and this place actually had a nice broth for both soups! All in all! Very good for a small little shopping center, chinese buffet. read more

My friend and I went there based on reviews. The food was lack-luster at best. The toilets were dirty. The cash register person was not friendly. After we returned home my friend and I both experienced a very rapid heart beat for a long time. As a physician I can tell you the food was completely full of MSG. I expect a little but this was way, way too much and I consider this place to be unhealthy. I do not recommend any one go to this place. I will be reporting to the Ind. Health Dept. This is a great restaurant. We eat here at least a couple times a month. I travel often and have tried many other Chinese buffets, none as good as this. The staff is always nice and have on occasion made it a point to cook up my son's favorite if not already on the buffet. read more

This is a small family owned restaurant. I would eat there more often if they charged a couple of dollars less. I believe the cost was $9 for dinner. The buffet consists of 3 small islands, a fountain drink machine, and a soft-serve ice cream machine. My point is this... Why would I pay $9 for mediocre food that doesn't get changed out quickly enough to remain fresh when I could drive to Teppanyaki on E. Washington, give them just $1 more, and get a huge selection of fresh food that even tastes like its of a higher quality. I could also do the same thing with Formosa seafood buffet on 82nd St. Their food is wonderful and much more fresh for only $1 or $2 more. My mom used to take me here when i was little and i recently started going here again as an adult. Still exactly how i remember it, and that's a good thing. a few chinese buffets i've been to have been a little sketchy and dirty but this one is usually pretty clean for the most part and its always nice and quiet and ive never had to wait for a table. the food is always great and if something runs out they are quick to replace with a fresh batch. i don't really have any complaints except that the lady that you pay up at the front always seems a little unfriendly lol. read more

Very nice buffet for the money. I've gone to more expensive Chinese buffets, but I don't think they worth the money. I've gone to less expensive Chinese buffets, but the quality wasn't there in the food. My wife and I have been there several times, and the food consistently tasted very good, there was lots of variety, and we found the prices very reasonable. The premises were clean, the wait staff very attentive to keeping it that way, and everybody associated to SCB was very nice to us. We're looking forward to going back again this weekend. read more

Wow, I see some others saying to skipso and so place and just go to Super China Buffet on P.Pike, so I gave it a try last night. I dont want to put anyone out of business but if the food isnt right, I am hoping the owners will take note and fix it. I know about this food and have actually been a little disappointed in several takeout places close to me, so i gave this store a shot. I love Hot & Sour Soup and KNOW when it's made right and good. Of course everybody has an opinion but all anyone needs to do to verify my post is to try Daily's soup at Cherry Tree Mall on E.Washington. They are the closest thing to the best in Indy that I know of and the soup is made with lots of ingredients and started with an oyster base as is standard for the better stores. This SCB soup was very slim on ingredients, had a yellow tint that didnt taste like oyster base and there was way too much tofu and egg whites. IF it did have any oyster base, it was very minimal at best. Very disappointing. The chips were so stale, even the soup couldnt help them so I threw them away. I also ordered the Szechuan Shrimp. It was sweet and had a warm kick but it should have been just hot like the red label on the menu indicates. After trying it I think it should have been called Hot & Sweet Shrimp. I have never had Szechuan that was sweet, (maybe I never ordered it if avail,if so I do not recall it) Either way, this isnt what I expect from a Szechuan dinner by far. It wasnt bad, it just wasnt what one would expect. My wife bought the Lo Mein with vegetables and it was reasonably good. I will NOT return to this store or give a good recommendation unless things are corrected. Hot & Sour Soup should be light brownish, transparent, many ingredients and made with a oyster base. read more

Was a nice little place quiet and the food was pretty decent. After going to the buffet a couple of times I always enjoyed my self. The food is always fresh and I don't have a complaint about it. They usually keep my table clean after I walk back up to get more food and they keep a good look out for people wanting fresh food.
