I like how the restaurant looked upon walking in. A lot of bright signs, and it looked inviting coming into the place. As you walk in, you are greeted by the cashiers who are extremely friendly and explain how the menu works. If it gets crowded they have another person come and take your order on a tablet. I think that's a smart idea. They have fresh cut fries and you know they are fresh because they have potato sacks waiting to be used at any moment. I had tenders and fries. Just be aware that they do not have a tender meal it goes by the tender. So if you want one tender ask for one tender and that's what you will receive. Anyway, thinking they may be small I ordered 6 of them. They were not small. I ordered the small fries and a chocolate custard. The food was delicious but here at this place 6 tenders were too much for me. Next time I will get three. I tried their Nashville Hot sauce in a cup. Not a fan of it. That's ok they had plenty more to choose from. Their Korean sauce was delicious. My friend had a sandwich with a fried avocado and Gouda cheese. Can't remember what it was called but she said it was a great sandwich. I will come back again. The place is lit up! it's like glowing when you pull up at night. I loved the brightness of it cause it was like some mystical sign telling me it was the right thing to do- get some "I'll regret eating it later" fried chicken sandwiches. This review is based off my second visit. My first visit, I didn't get to eat the sandwich I bought thanks to my kids inhaling it when it passed the threshold of my home. I took a star away cause I know it is growing pains, but it really did take a lot longer to place an order and then wait for it to be prepared and sit on the counter for 10 mins as I stared at the bags wondering if one of them was mine. Everyone sticks to their jobs-so the 2 girls scooping ice cream into the containers next to the register, completely ignored any and all customers that are waiting to place an order. We stopped in after looking for spot for lunch after a morning of shopping. I checked to see what spots were close by and this came up with great reviews. Upon coming in although it was busy, service was friendly and quick. After getting our number card for the table, we stopped at the condiment counter to grab drinks and sauces. We loved the wide variety of sauces to choose from. The honey mustard, ranch, and signature sauces were all very good. Food was brought out within 8-10 mins. It was super quick. I ordered 3 tenders with the loaded fries and my boyfriend ordered the chicken cordon bleu sandwich. We both really enjoyed our food. My tenders were probably some of the best I had ever had. I loved the loaded fries with the cheese sauce, bacon, and green onions. We would definitely come back. Pricing is pretty average for food nowadays. Today was our first time here. Everyone was so nice!!! The lady that took our order had a nice smile, and she was very helpful with the menu. We were not disappointed!!! The hot honey sandwich, chicken tenders, rosemary pepper fries, simple sandwich, and fried pickles.... SOOOOO YUMMY!!! We started eating the food right when it was delivered to the table hence no pictures LOL My daughter said there was another location in Williamsburg where she goes to college, and she will definitely go!!! A new chicken place opened up and I had to try! The employees were friendly and restaurant was very clean. On this visit I got my order to go. They have several chicken sandwiches that you can get either get grilled or fried and I wish, I had taken a picture of the menu. I apologize for not doing that. I am a sucker for a buffalo chicken sandwich and theirs has a cool ranch dressing on it and very thick, sliced pickles. It was the best buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had, so good. They also have salads which I'm going to try on my next visit and fresh cut french fries that you can get flavored either sweet, hot or what I chose was rosemary pepper, and I got a small order and more than half of them are in the fridge. It's a huge serving and very good. Their fountain drinks are Pepsi products which I'm a Coke girl, so that was kind of a disappointment but not a big deal. I think that you will be surprised at how good the food is. Take note my chicken sandwich was $9.99 and the regular fries were $4.99 and the fountain soda was $2.99. While I waited for my food to come out, they have a big screen TV that you can watch, sports was on while I was there, but it really didn't take long for it to come out. Was fortunate enough to stop by on opening day and I gotta say, it's really good. The sandwich was a reasonable size with a good flavor. I was expecting the chicken to be larger; it's comparable in size to Chick Fil A.. What separates Super Chix from the others is the various sandwich options and sauces. Now the fries are what I really enjoyed, even more than the sandwich. Especially with the Cajun seasoning. I do believe the place is overpriced for what you get. $8.99 for a basic sandwich is a little high in my opinion. Especially if it does not stand out. The place itself is nice and spacious. I liked the layout and the appreciate the outdoor option. The managers were very friendly. Staff was nervous but it's opening day, so you may need to be patient for the first few weeks. So I tried Super Chix twice now and honestly, I will not be going back. Everything is a la carte. $10+ for a sandwich, $5 for fries, $4 for a drink. The fries were just OK, but a bit greasy. The sandwiches were seasoned very well and not too much sauce so it wasn't too messy. It was perfecttttt. Service was great, they had lots of staff walking around asking how everything was tasting and grabbing empty plates, and wiping tables. They are friendly and speedy and kind and accurate and frankly maybe the greatest combination of people working in a restaurant that I've seen in a long while. I really like Janiah.
