Excellent food. My chicken sandwich was amazing. Tenders were crispy and juicy. The fries were perfect. The thick rich shake/custard was delicious. The service was excellent! Unfortunately I have to report the music was too loud and the speaker sound quality seemed bad. The music selection was all classic "dad rock" & "glam rock" which I really dislike. There was no variety in the music selection and there were no modern tunes. There was also nowhere I could sit to get away from the distracting and unpleasant sounds, but I didn't want to do take out. Even the entire outdoor area had music blasting. We noticed this place had opened a few months ago and decided we had to try it as soon as possible - recently, we had the chance to go. What a gem! It's a very unassuming place tucked into a small shopping center area behind Sal's by Victor in the Food Lion shopping center off Richmond Road - but boy, the food is delicious. It is obvious that the chicken is both fresh AND freshly-fried - everything is made to order, and it shows. The menu offers both fried and grilled options for everything which is fabulous, as well as many different sauces. My husband got the Nashville Hot fried chicken sandwich, and I opted for the Asian sesame salad with fried chicken bits on top. Both were fantastic - his sandwich was juicy, crisp, wonderful flavor, and absolutely enormous.... and the tots on the side were delicious. My salad was HUGE - and unbelievably good. They are generous with toppings, which I appreciated! We also tried the fried pickles for an appetizer - flaky, crisp, and excellent flavor. Stopped by today as it was recommended from my husbands coworker at the Shipyard. It did NOT disappoint! I had the Crispy Avocado sandwich and added a fried (you can also select grilled) chicken filet. My husband had the Hot Honey featured sandwich. We shared a large Rosemary fries which was plenty and we left stuffed! The breading was perfect- light, crispy, a tad sweet but not too much. To top it off the service was stupendous! I ordered Door Dash from this location for the last time today. EVERY time I order from them there's something missing and today was no different. The last time I ordered it was the drinks. One time it was an order of fries. Today I decided to go in the store when I was missing items (3) and I was told the Dasher driver "probably" kept them. All I know is i paid for items I didn't get. On Google the reviews are better. Just got a salad with a whopping 4oz of chicken...maybe. Chicken was almost as flat as an envelope. Just lackluster. Avocado? Almost breath of avacado. My family of 7 arrived mid week during lunch and this visit was our first time ever going to Super Chix! This experience was by far the BEST (chain restaurant)!!!! Jason and Ahmiyah's service was exceptional, they were extremely welcoming and patient! Jason went above and beyond to make sure I knew exactly what was included with menu items even gifted the kids samples of their amazing custard!! Ahmiyah brought our food to the table as it was ready (my girl!!!!!) so everyone was able to enjoy their hot food while it was hot and cold food cold! Can't forget the cook, I didn't get her name but the definitely understood what needed to be done!!!!! My guy was on the line making sure it was stocked and clean so we definitely appreciate him for that!!! Teamwork made the dream work that day! For them to only have 4 employees and have a bus (lol) come in and execute flawlessly with no complaints and still knock down the line was definitely a great experience! My wife and I stopped by for lunch. It was a very nice all white meat chicken sandwich. It was nice to to see a chopped,pressed,formed chicken patty. The boy thing that we didn't like was that everything was ala carte. There were no "combos". It cost us over $40 just for a quick lunch. I ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders with fries and my friend tried the chicken sandwich and frozen custard. Everything tasted great and the service was very quick. I would wait about 6 month for the bugs to be worked out. Staff is new and still learning.m Food was good, variety of options was good but minor bugs to work out. It was clean and delicious. I probably wouldn't get the fried pickles again but they were still ok. Also, the staff should probably warn folks the soda machines down or at least put up a sign before allowing customers to still buy the cup for the soda machine. People complaining about pricing in the reviews clearly don't see the area at a financial level or demographics wise. Very unwhelming experience. Has the ambience of a business in the process of shutting down. I ordered my food, four tenders and a cheese fry, with a drink. over 21 dollars is quite expensive, but everything's gone up, so I can't use this against them exclusively. however, the drink machine was not operational and I had to inform the employee, who turned it on. not too bad, however, the drink machine's pressure was way too much, spraying contents everywhere, mostly splashing out of my cup. I also waiting a fairly long time, I've had worse, but twenty minutes is pushing it. but, there seemed to only be two workers, at least what I saw. one cashier, one cook. the cashier was sharing duties with the cook as well, mostly preparing drinks and shakes. all in all, definitely won't be coming back. read more

We went to super Chix on the first day that they opened. I got a slider, my husband got a Hot Nashville sandwich, and we shared a large fry. The slider was wonderful. My husband raved about his sandwich as well. A large fry was too much for the two of us. Everything is so fresh. The chicken was moist, the breading was just right, and the fries were freshly cut. My husband also got some of their banana pudding custard and enjoyed that as well. It's not inexpensive, but no place is. We will definitely go back! read more

A bit pricey for chicken sandwiches. Not sure what's up with the chicken sandwiches war and at the same time prices keep going up and up and up... but to be completely honest I tried it and it was good.. made properly, cooked properly, good flavor... love the fries (watch out Five Guys).
