Super delicious! This spot is still the best sizzling pan eateries in the Bay Area. The food is always hot, fresh, and super tasty. The meat is thinly sliced, marbled, and is a flavor blast. The rice, veggies, and egg is a delicious combination of flavors. They give you a choice of sauces, ask for more if you like it saucey. Their boba drinks are an added treat. They have a full service boba shop inside of the restaurant. The staff is always friendly and pleasant.

Really delicious ramen and hot pot at this small, hospitable restaurant with excellent service. I forgot to take a photo of the chashu pork ramen before digging in, but trust me, it's tasty with delicious broth, an egg that was boiled to perfection and delicious pork and veggies as well as toothsome ramen noodles. Hubble chose the hot pot with beef and tom yam soup. We ordered and enjoyed potato croquettes. The server also brought us some complimentary wonton after we ordered, too. Great meal!!

There aren't many sizzling plate options in SF, and it's nice to have an affordable option in the Richmond without going to another city. The serving size is nice, and their ingredients taste like good quality. I especially like the fact that they don't skimp out on the pepper at all for the pepper sauces, so that it actually has a real kick. Service is nice and they also gave free appetizers with coconut curry! Would recommend for an affordable option in the Richmond.

Super Pan is ?... an iron platter place, a fried food place, a boba place, a curry place, a noodle soup place,???? Well, this kinda describes what you can get here, which means almost anything that you might think of as Fast Food Asian. Thus, you or your group will find something to eat... not knock your socks off but enough to satisfy your current need and probably to take home to doctor up. Had a few items...would suggest going with their basic pepper beef with egg on the hot iron platter. Convenient parking on busy Geary, polite and efficient service, cafe like ambiance....

    Beef hot pot $17.99

Very reasonable priced and large portions ... We live in Danville, but whenever we are in the city, this is our to go place for sizzling lunch. Our normal dishes have been their signature, rice with beef and pepper sauce on sizzling iron plate. This time, the owner recommended individual hot pot with beef ($17.99). We were a bit hesitant since we always eat AYCE with hot pot and worried it would not be enough. We were wrong... we could not finish. Definitely worth the $ and the tomato soup base was perfect. When you walk in, don't be fooled by the lack of customers. Both the owner and waiter were very nice and friendly. Worth every one of the five stars.

Parking might be a bit difficult, but the food was legit. Started with the fried tofu that were served hot, crispy, and with the perfect amount of saltiness. Kiddo loves his noodles, so he went with the karaage chicken ramen. Love that the chicken was served on the side, and it was a decent portion. Hubs went with the beef pasta, and he ate the whole thing up. I went with the super ribeye steak. That garlic butter definitely added to it, and the pepper garlic sauce just topped it all off. The Guava green tea was a good refresher. Hubs liked the Vietnamese coffee, and kiddo noted he really liked te coconut paradise. As mentioned, portions were good and prices were reasonable. We'd definitely return.

This place is actually realllllly goooood. Been here a couple times already. It's pretty small inside, and it's divided between a normal restaurant & and just a cash register for boba drinks. My favorite here is actually their fried tofu because it comes out freshly cooked and it's actually cooked exactly how I like my fried tofu. You just can't go wrong with this place if you like anything from the menu. Service is also really fast & they're very attentive even during busy times. Only downside is parking here since it's located at Geary. P.S. The pan comes in sizzling hot, so the meat cooks infront of you (IT IS NOT RAW MEAT) Lol

    Mango Sago w/ Lychee Jelly

This review is specifically for 2 things that I regularly re-order from Super Pan. First, the Mango Sago with Lychee Jelly. It's a boba drink I've ordered from at least 10 different places but the quality and sweetness have the best overall balance and taste at Super Pan. Second, their curry fish balls are also outstanding. The softness of the fish balls, the quality of the frying and the way it renders the outer layer, and lastly the taste/quantity/consistency of the curry set this classic apart at Super Pan. I will add that while I love these 2 items I'm actually not a big fan of their mainstream "super pan" dishes. But .. will keep going back for the fish balls and mango sago!!

Ordered the chicken karaage ramen with large portions of chicken served separately. Staff friendly and service is fast. This is a separate restaurant next to the boba stand and you can order drinks together with your meal as well. I think they're known for their sizzling rice pans that is big enough to share - will try that next time.

We have been here for years and I kept forgetting to review. Overall good food for a reasonable price and the next door e tea is also bonus. We love their chashu ramen and beef pan dishes.

Super Pan, super delicious! After all these years, this place still brings us back with their yummy food. The steak ribeye is still my favorite but other dishes are great also. Friendly service and courteous ambiance. Not open on Tuesdays.

    6. Cheesy Omelette Rice with Beef

At first when we arrived at the restaurant, the servers were with a big party. They seemed a bit understaffed and a little overwhelmed, however they handled it so gracefully. Although we had to wait a little while to order our food and it took some time for the food to come out, the chef came in to check on us. He also made sure everything tasted good and we didn't have any concerns. The popcorn chicken here is a must! I love the crispy texture, but it is seasoned well and the chicken is nice and juicy. The sweet potato fries also had an amazing crisp to it, but soft on the inside. Such perfection! With the cheesy omelette and beef plate, I love that it came out sizzling hot. You can choose from 4 different sauces, but I went with the original garlic pepper which complimented the dish really well.

Currently…read morethey are running a special for weekdays you can get a full habachi lunch for $15.95 within 45 minutes! That was a shocker to us because although we love habachi, we've always found Benihana to be unbearably slow to get fed. So we had to find out for ourselves. Food 4.5/5: for $15.95 you get soup, vegetables habachi rice, and a chicken or shrimp, steak for a few dollars extra. Everything that was cooked on the habachi grill was perfectly cooked, well seasoned and the steak was doneness was the way I wanted. I loved the grill flavor with the dipping sauces. The fried rice was a slight disappointment, not sure if it's because it's not cooked fresh in front of us, it was a bit cold and don't taste as savory as how they usually are. Service 4/5: We were impressed that we did get served within the 45 minute timeline. However most of the time seems to be waiting, and the actual cook of the meal was around 6 minutes. That's maybe the down side of knowing your food is only coming if you see it cooking in front of you. You spend most of the time waiting, and the service it self was speedy and not much else. There's no talking or interaction for the cooking portion for this. Ambiance 3/5: habachi is usually a fun environment and generally you see someone celebrating something. However during the day time there's a lot of dead space and time where everyone's waiting on a chef, you'll likely have to share a table as well.

We had good experiences with Chef Eric before. The last experience for a birthday dinner was unpleasant. Other than the wait, the chef quickly connected and bonded with the couple at the table and his focus had been on them, joking, and laughing with them to a point their laughed at whatever jokes he had. Some jokes felt inappropriate (spoke softly then laughed loudly) or they appeared to be teasing one of us asking for less butter, or the reactions from the children. I took it as different people may have different sense of humor but definitely felt uncomfortable to be sharing table with those feelings. When it came to cooking, the chef gave the couple two $9 chicken fried rice when we previously heard them saying it's too expensive and they did not want it. He gave them free fried rice and there was not enough rice to put into a bowl for my paid order. I had to tell him that I ordered one. Then, he tried to brush it off. It already made me more guarded to see if he would offer our food to the couple again. He did it again after he finished the couple's orders. When he was cooking the shrimps, he offered to give the couple shrimps. The coupld said no , then those shrimps came to my son's plate. This this point, I was very offended by his actions. I did not want to say it out loud and ruined a birthday dinner. The food was also very salty and overcooked as he was distracted talking and laughing with the couple. It felt like the whole world was just him and the guy from that couple. Food was not tasty (even the children commented about that), felt he cheated with our paid food by giving it out to the other customers, and uncomfortable experience overall. At the end, I couldn't help but asked our server if the couple ordered any fried rice in case I wrongfully accused anyone. She confirmed that the couple did not order any fried rice. The manager was also very attentive. She came and inquired what happened. She provided service recovery as much as she could and she said she would address it with the staff. I appreciate both our server and the manager. Thank you!

First, the edamame was cold and unsalted. I'm an edamame lover, and nothing beats it hot, freshly steamed, and generously showered in salt. So that was a little disappointing. Second, our server (I believe his name was Kayz) seemed visibly annoyed when we asked to split the check. As a server myself, I know this isn't rocket science, and guests should never be made to feel uncomfortable for something so standard, especially after there had already been a small mix-up with our roll order (we received two dynamite rolls instead of one dynamite and one dragon). We didn't make a fuss at the time because mistakes happen, but the attitude at the end definitely stood out. That said, the food itself was solid, the lunch special is a fantastic value, and overall we still had a good experience. I would absolutely return and would recommend this spot, just hoping for a smoother service experience next time.

According to what I wrote on Yelp, I had a decent meal at their sister restaurant in the Metreon…read morewell before it shuttered, like over a decade ago. My meal apparently wasn't memorable enough to motivate me to visit this location, that is, until quite recently. I decided to have lunch here after a nearby medical appointment. It wasn't crowded at all. Only a couple of solo diners and a loud senior couple. I wasn't in a sushi mood and thought I'd go healthy with the saba shioyaki. However, at the last minute, I went with the $19 Ika Yaki, a whole BBQ squid sliced and saturated in teriyaki sauce with a dab of shichimi mayo (Photo 8). The portion was generous and the texture was firm with enough elasticity. Unfortunately the teriyaki sauce did nothing to enhance the dish, and I wished they served it on the side. I also ordered the $8 Agedashi Tofu, usually a foolproof appetizer for me. It certainly looked right (Photo 9), but I was unpleasantly surprised how tongue-burning hot it was. The cubes of tofu must've just come right out of the deep fryer. The dashi broth helped calm the heat down but a little too late. I'm sure glad I sprung for the $3 bowl of Rice (Photo 10). That calmed what was left of my tongue down. FOOD - 3 stars...execution errors mar the dishes here AMBIANCE - 3.5 stars...spacious enough since it was empty, sushi bar seating was available SERVICE - 3.5 stars...attentive enough TOTAL - 3 stars...not my favorite Japanese spot RELATED - Exploring the Tenderloin?
