I've always been a fan of Dave Chang's food. He really makes a good blend of traditional Korean flavors with America staples. Super Peach is another place that does interesting choices. We tried almost everything from pork belly bao, pork ribs, ribeye, garlic noodles-and sea bass. The standouts are the Korean fried chicken, sweet potatoes, and kimbop. Everything else was just fine. It's expensive for the amount of food you get. Not a lot of value. But the food is good and ambiance is nice. Inside a mall and you pay for parking so plan on bringing the bucks for this meal. Service is good

Stopped by Super Peach in Century City and used the Chase Sapphire Reserve $150 dining credit. The best thing we ordered was the Prime Rib Cheese Sandwich. Tender meat, lots of flavor, and would order it again without thinking twice. The mushroom pasta was my second favorite. Simple dish but done well. The tuna kimbap was fresh and had good flavor too. The ribs looked great but were just alright. Not bad, but nothing that really stood out compared to the other dishes. One surprise was the kids slider. Didn't expect much from a kids menu item, but it was actually pretty tasty and worth ordering. Overall, it's definitely on the pricey side, but you're paying for the Century City location and atmosphere. If I have another Chase dining credit to use, I'd come back. The Prime Rib Cheese Sandwich alone is worth getting again.

I do not understand why the ratings for this restaurant are so low. It's located on the first floor of the Century City Mall, the indoors is reminiscent of Grand Central Station, and they have a nice outdoor seating area as well (though I didn't notice any umbrellas or heat lamps). The food is excellent with a twist - not just traditional Korean fare. Even my fusion-hating husband adores this place. So far everything we've had has been pretty tasty. Favorites include the sweet onion dip, grilled bass and broccolini, prime rib cheesesteak, and mushroom noodles. My daughter loved the tuna crudo so much we had to get her a second order. Both the tuna and fried chicken kimbap were pretty good, and I appreciated the smaller rice proportions. Yuzu lemonade has good flavor but I would enjoy it more if it were fizzy. For dessert, I recommend the salted caramel coconut pudding over the burnt cheesecake, which was still good but had a texture that reminded me more of a New York cheesecake than the creaminess I typically associate with a Basque cheesecake.

4.5 stars, rounded up! For a restaurant inside a mall, Super Peach completely exceeded my expectations, from the service and ambiance to, most importantly, the food. I've followed David Chang's restaurants from Momofuku Noodle Bar in New York to Momofuku in Las Vegas and Majordomo in Los Angeles, so Super Peach had been on my list since it opened. I was so excited to finally get off work and convince my girlfriends to join me for "social hour," aka happy hour. The menu is Korean American fusion, and everything was packed with flavor. Asian flavors truly go with everything, although I may be a little biased! Our favorites were the pork belly, kimbap, and crispy potatoes. The decor was also incredible. This is easily one of the best designed restaurants I've visited recently. It is perfect for a lunch date, girls' night, or date night. Take me back! There are still so many more menu items I want to try.

Short review for the Korean Fried Chicken Wings only! Ordered takeout wings cause they looked so good, no batter, lightly floured and fried to golden perfection. They were great and the ideal wings for me. Only downside was they're seasoned with some salt mix dry rub that was WAY too salty, especially since the wings come with two sauces. Pricey at almost $22 after tax for 6 wings. Service was slightly slow for takeout considering the restaurant was nearly empty, because the poor bartender (very sweet lady) had to make drinks and take my order and payment. Not sure why no one else can pitch in with to-go orders when she's busy though.

Overall I think this place is great with some awesome dishes. Service is a bit slow per a lot of the reviews but our waiter was very friendly and gave us some good recos. I love the sea bass here with the nice crispy skin and I like the sweet onion dip and korean fried chicken as well. The pricing seems a bit high for what it is but what can you expect nowadays at century city... For non-alc folks, get the yuzu hitachi no beer.... So refreshing! Also, it's family friendly and they have a kids menu.

Overall a satisfying lunch experience with some 5 star and 4 star dishes that were easy to share. The menu featured a wide array of traditonal and modern takes on Asian dishes and does a pretty good job. Their cocktails really stood our for their unique flavor profiles and experimental mixtures. The standout dishes were the mushroom noodles, the wings, but only with the sauces, the ceasar salad, and the ribs and sesame cucumber were pretty good. Service was great and the server was extra attention to the kids, so I always appreciate that.

The food was flavorful and the drink was refreshing. The chicken was marinated well, although it was a bit salty for me. The kimbap was light and served as a good appetizer. The service was a bit slow for a weeknight, but the food was yummy.

I came here during the afternoon on a Tuesday, so the restaurant wasn't too busy and the ambiance was pretty standard. The host greeted me and I was seated pretty quickly (I had a reservation). The service was great, but unfortunately the food was very underwhelming. Dine In Lunch Menu Scallion pancake w/ sides and dipping sauce - 6/10 - The sides were good. Bbq chicken, rice, and broccoli - 5/10 - There was mayo in the rice underneath the broccoli which was not appetizing to me, but the chicken was good. Social Hour Menu Chicken & caviar bun - 6/10 - The fried chicken meat tasted like it was frozen and warmed up, but the bun and caviar were nice. Burnt cheesecake - 2/10 - The cheesecake was hot and had a curdled texture, and the syrup and accompanying fruit did not taste fresh. To Go - Prime rib sandwich - 8/10 - This being their saving grace is crazy, but it was really good. Caramelized onions were really nice, and it tasted like they used a Hawaiian roll for the bun. - Glazed baked sweet potato - 7/10 - Wasn't expecting the cheese on the potato, but that was probably my fault and I misread the menu. However, the potatoes were fully cooked through and pretty good. I'm glad I got these menu items at the social hour prices, because for the price you're paying, unfortunately, the food quality does not match. I've been really wanting to try a David Chang restaurant, and I think this was maybe the wrong one to try first. Parking: The first hour is free. The restaurant doesn't validate parking, but if you buy something $10 or more at Gelsons, they will validate your parking. However, if you're only there for two hours, I believe parking comes out to around $8.

Salted caramel pudding and burnt cheesecake tasted better
    Andres R.

The food was amazing, probably some of the chicken wings and ribs i've ever had. And can't forget about the salted caramel pudding as well. The burnt cheesecake tasted better without its sauce (apple?). The banana daiquiri was also amazing. My only gripe is that at the beginning the waiter kind of forgot about us and the green mean margarita to get started was way too strong, but that made me enjoy the food even more! Would come again to try other parts of the menu!

I had the best birthday dinner at Super Peach, and a huge part of that was thanks to Nathan B.! He truly made our night so special. He was incredibly kind, hilarious, and had us laughing the entire dinner. We were joking around and teasing him all night, and he was throwing the funniest jokes right back at us. It honestly felt like we were hanging out with a friend, and his energy made the whole experience unforgettable. He also gave us some amazing food recommendations, and everything we ordered was incredible. The food was packed with flavor, and every dish was beautifully plated with so much thought and creativity. The ambiance was just as amazing as the food. The restaurant is so vibrant and cute, and we loved sitting in one of the booth seats. The color palette, decor, and lighting created such a fun, cozy atmosphere that made the birthday dinner feel even more special. To top it all off, Nathan surprised us with a delicious chocolate-covered vanilla Swiss roll decorated with candles and a "Happy Birthday" sign. It was such a thoughtful touch and the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Thank you, Nathan B., for making my birthday so memorable! I can't wait to come back.

I was really excited to try Super Peach as a Momofuku/Majordomo fan; this place was really good, but not great. We got the fried chicken kimbap to start, which was yum. The ground short rib ssam was tasty and a great experience - it was fun to make wraps with the lettuce and condiments. My favorite were the mushroom noodles, super rich and kind of like a creamy mushroom pasta. Great lunch if you need to take a load off while shopping!

I've been to Super Peach a couple times now and I'm a fan! When at Century City mall, it's a great option for some high quality eats and a chilla atmosphere with great service. On my first visit I sat in their swanky dining room and had the ~ Wagyu Beef Kimbap ($29) - Loved this. Jjajangmyeon ($59) - Tangsuyuk and jjajangmyeon are two of my favorite comfort foods I grew up on, and their combo dish is delicious. If you too grew up eating this, it will be a bit different than the traditional flavors while still keeping the integrity of the dishes. I still like traditional best but this was a nice take on modernizing it a bit and my friends & I loved it. I like their NA Asahi Beer option ($7) and the Jasmine Green Tea ($6). On my next visit, I sat on their patio to take advantage of their Social Hour. They have a couple of items on their 3-6pm Weekday Happy Hour menu which they call Social Hour not available on their usual menu I was determined to try! We weren't given a special menu so I don't know how anyone would know about these deals unless they researched prior like I did. It's a pity because there are some cool items you can get on the patio and at the bar during this time. For example, I did not know about the Peachy Meal Deal which includes a Tasty Deluxe slider, tallow fries, and a steakhouse martini for $35. However, we got the Tasty Deluxe slider ($14) and the Fried Chicken & Caviar Bao Bun ($19). The Fried Chicken was perfectly cooked, the bao was so soft, white BBQ sauce and chives on top with a generous helping of caviar - absolutely loved this. The slider was incredibly messy but incredibly tasty and loved that, as well. The food at Super Peach is really stellar and I will surely be back! I can't wait to try more on the menu!

Ask the Community - Super Peach

Are these vegan and/or gluten free options available? For example are there GF noodles?

How much is the corkage and rules?

$40 for first two bottles, then $75

Is there outdoor seating available? Are dogs allowed?

Hopefully no dogs allowed! I am so sick of dogs being in places they shouldn't and irresponsible owners allowing them to slobber all over people who don't want their stupid animals "kisses" while they are trying to enjoy a meal out.

The caviar omakase is the must order thing here. Everything is very small bites, but if you are mostly there for drinks then à la carte is a good option. The omakase was fantastic - nice sized portions of caviar, paired with thoughtful items like a mini lobster roll, a salmon burger, and even ice cream. The drinks are also delightful - you can taste the notes of every ingredient and nothing was too overpowering or unbalanced. But the service is by far the main reason we'll be back. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, on top of being knowledgeable and presenting the menu in a well practiced way. They made this birthday dinner so special and went above and beyond. We ended up at the Maybourne Bar in the Maybourne hotel, a solid B+ lobby bar that I'd visit again under similar circumstances. The space was attractive but the vibe was strange, if not uncomfortable. Just weirdly bright lighting and a different crowd from the usual L.A. bar scene (hotel, Beverly Hills). It was pretty quiet at 10:00 on a Saturday night, and we were able to grab seats at the bar. Service was fast and polite. We ordered a Midas Touch and a Big in Japan, both decent cocktails that cost a full $30 apiece. The Midas Touch was a colorful spicy margarita with El Tesoro Maybourne Edition Reposado, Empirical Ayuuk, Grand Marnier Louis Alexandre, saffron, lemon, and honey. Big in Japan was a Gold Rush variation with Hibiki Harmony, sudachi honey, lemon, sansho pepper, and yuzu bitters. There are better, more interesting cocktail bars all over L.A., but I'd recommend the Maybourne Bar if you're staying at the hotel or otherwise looking for an upscale bar in downtown Beverly Hills. You can get food, too, though most of it seems to involve caviar.

We also had the Little Gem Caesar with chicken, a classic done exceptionally well. The standout, however, was the Diavola pizza. We came to Matū for the Dinner for Two, and everything we were served was impeccable. The seasoning was spot on, the salt level was perfect, and every cut of meat was cooked beautifully. I'm a big fan of my steak on the rarer side, and Matū absolutely delivered. The braised beef cheek was probably the highlight of the night for me. It was unbelievably tender, rich, and one of the most memorable bites of the meal. After finishing the Dinner for Two, which really showcased the quality of the meat, we decided to split a cheesesteak since "that's what they're known for." When it arrived, it looked incredible. Unfortunately, that's where the excitement ended for me. The meat tasted oddly oily. I'm not sure if it was the cut, the preparation, or even the cheese, but it came across as heavy and greasy compared to the beautifully simple, clean flavors of the steak dinner. It was also underseasoned, and I found myself tasting the sesame seeds on the bread more than the filling itself. The chips were fresh and crunchy at first, but they lost their texture surprisingly quickly, so eat those immediately. Overall, I absolutely loved the steaks, sides, and cocktails, and I'll happily be back for those. But as for the cheesesteak? Once was more than enough.

Matu is a dream for meat lovers, with a menu centred entirely around Australian wagyu. Nothing…read moreshowcases that commitment better than the Matu dinner ($87 per person; minimum 2 persons), a multi-course meal that highlights different cuts of the cow in every single dish. Things begin with a 24-hour bone broth shooter, looking like a glass of gravy but tasting like concentrated umami. Rich, warm, and deeply comforting, it's remarkable how delicious it is despite containing only broth. The steak tartare follows with freshly chopped beef, egg yolk, and what the menu describes as a "Japanese accent," possibly togarashi. Whatever the seasoning blend is, it works beautifully. The tartare is incredibly flavourful despite its minimalist presentation. Thin, lightly toasted crostini accompany it without overpowering the beef, though I did ask for extra slices just to finish every bite. The eight-hour braised beef cheek was one of my favourite courses. So tender and moist that you could practically eat it with a spoon, the richness is balanced by a silky celeriac purée that ties everything together beautifully. It's the kind of dish that immediately makes you want another serving. Even their '47' salad leans heavily into the restaurant's beef-first philosophy, featuring more steak than greens. The 3-ounce centre-cut filet was impressively tender for such a lean cut, and although it arrived rarer than I'd typically order, it worked perfectly. At Matu, diners aren't asked how they'd like their steak cooked. The kitchen prepares it to the chef's specifications, trusting the quality of the beef and their technique. As for the romaine leaves underneath, they're coated in a signature dressing that tastes remarkably similar to Caesar, despite being made without dairy or eggs, then finished with a generous showering of Parmigiano. After all that beef, you'd think sharing a 12-ounce ribeye would feel excessive. Somehow, it didn't. The steak is prepared simply, allowing the quality of the wagyu to speak for itself, with crispy grilled broccolini providing a garlicky contrast alongside it. A small dish of salt is presented at the beginning of the meal, though Matu intentionally keeps the seasoning restrained. Personally, I appreciated the lighter touch and never felt the need to add more. Dessert arrives in the form of Scott's flourless chocolate cake ($12), dense and rich without being overly sweet beyond a dusting of powdered sugar. After an entire menu devoted to beef, I almost found myself jokingly wondering whether wagyu somehow made its way into dessert too.
