Like a hopeless druggy, I got high on the trio of three kinds of bread, and the following day kept binge-ing on the scone, the muffin and what was the other pastry? I think I had blacked out with delight by then, I swear. The Mary's Chicken was tender and delicious, the veggies so fresh and fragrant, and my husband's steak au poivre was decimated by him in one blow. Just went to Superba this morning for breakfast with my daughter and everything was amazing! Starting with the drinks -- the matcha latte and Spanish latte are to die for, must try! The cheesy eggs and overnight oats were very flavorful and delicious. But if the food was good, the service was even better. Over an hour for two salads and a pasta dish. What? Waitress coming by all of 3 times (30 minutes after we were seated to ask for drink order, a flag down for the second encounter asking for water, and finally a flag down for the check). We honestly did not see her on the floor. The restaurant was not busy. We had to ask the busser for water because she did not bring it after we asked. Due to the terrible service we will not be back. On a busy Lincoln Blvd. street in Venice, is this hard to find restaurant with signage hidden from sight. I was lucky to get parking in the small lot. The inside is nicely appointed. I sat at the bar. The beers on tap were out of order. So I ordered a 16oz can of Chronic Ale amber ale from Pizza Port Brewing Co. based in San Diego. It was good. I tried the Daily Bread with the choice of "Really Good Butter-Salt". It arrived on a plate stacked. It also was good. I enjoyed the Vegetable Enchiladas Suizas. It was surprisingly tasty. My experience at Superba was amazing!! We have come to this place many times, and we love the food and the service. This last time was particularly good. We were greeted by an amazing host (her name was Martina) who was bubbly and made us feel very welcomed. And then were served by a very efficient and kind server (Vince). Lively spot in Venice, great place to hang out, have a drink/snack and enjoy with friends. This place was super busy on a Sunday afternoon. Inside space has quite a few tables, but it was pretty packed. We ended up taking our food to go and dining on the patio in the back, which was quite lovely. I went with the baguette and Lox, which was infused salmon, which I found pretty tasty. Honestly, there were a lot of things on the menu and it seemed like you can't go wrong. Literally the least friendly staff . I avoid this place like the plague. Their food is also very mediocre.

It looks like this restaurant has 3 locations in the SoCal area. We came here because it was close to where we were staying and we saw some great reviews. We were greeted upon arrival and asked if we had reservations. We did not and were still seated pretty promptly. The restaurant got more crowded closer to 6, but there were plenty of tables when we arrived around 5 pm. Our server Deserae was super kind and welcoming. We ordered an order of assorted breads baked fresh daily and some cheese to come with it. One of the bread rolls actually came with a lot of butter and chives on it and if I knew there would have been that much butter available, I probably would have skipped getting the cheese, which wasn't my favorite since it was on the spicy side. We then ordered a green juice (which was a small serving), an alcohol beverage, and our mains, which were the veggie enchiladas and the chicken schnitzel. The verde sauce on the veggie enchiladas were overpowering and too sour. It was not my favorite thing that we had. The chicken schnitzel was pretty good, and came with a side of beet tahini and mustard with seeds, but it was sort of lacking a carb (it came with a little bit of greens). We also ordered a peach cheesecake mousse that came with some baked sweet graham cracker-like cookie. It was good but definitely not the consistent of cheesecake. They came over to our table to explain that we could donate profits to one of four charities using a token, which is great. They explained that they are not-for-profit company (distinguishing from the fact that owners are not non-profit when we asked specifically). However, this place charges a 3% surcharge on the food, which is removable upon request. So it makes me wonder whether some of the money they donate to charities could also be used to pay their workers better. The food here is on the pricier side. For a couple of drinks, our mains, and a dessert, we spent over $135 after tip. We also had some delicious pastries as well. Service is great but some of their pricing and items could be improved. read more

I loved how they had some warm food ready to go like breakfast burritos. At least they did on Sunday. I had an odd experience where my waiter took my order but never saw them again. Looking for a coffee spot and stumbled upon this spot. All I saw was the "coffee" sign in an industrial space and I was curious!! Inside was a whole bakery section coffee section and apparently it's not just coffee but a full restaurant as well. They had these cute "S" token to donate to causes of your choice and it so happens to be my initial. So of course great photo op. Definitely have to come back and try their food! The food at Superba was in fact...superb(a). We came here hungover and it did not disappoint. Despite the 3 too many drinks I had the night before, the food looked so good my not even my scaries couldn't keep me away from diving in. My first note was that the service was excellent. They went out of their way to seat us exactly where we wanted, and even helped move us when a better table became open. Me next note is that anything that was once a potato being served at this restaurant is delicious. The fried and chips that come with the sandos are to die for. I got the burger (with bacon added of course) and a gluten free bun-and it was super yummy. 4 starts overall because the food did not blow my mind like I have had happen at some restaurants, but it was extremely solid for what it was. read more

The hostess and servers are impeccable as always. I've arrived in work attire, weekend casual and even just-woke-up-I'm-hangry-attitude/attire and the hostess always welcomed and seated me with efficient hospitality -- no eyelash batted. The servers are the same! The omelette is amazing. The Croissant French Toast is decadent. Mac N Cheese is cheesy. CORTADO is creamy and strong. Came here for the first time on Valentine's Day 2024 for dinner. The ambiance and vibe of the place is cool. Modern design, but cozy at the same time, with dim lighting, candles, and rustic feel to it. I had the burger, which blew my expectations out of the water. The everything bun was delicious, not overpowering and the meat/cheese ratio was perfect. Pickles and onions were great compliment to the rich, cheesy patty and the SuperBa sauce takes it over the top. Get a side of that dank SuperBa sauce on the side for fries dipping, trust me! The ambiance is nice and always popping on the weekends. Best Thanksgiving yet! We had Superba cater our Thanksgiving dinner again this year, and it really was better than ever. I followed all of the (simple) instructions, and everything was heated perfectly. The turkey was juicy, the ham delicious and the gravy was perfect. The sides tasted so good, I am mad at myself for not ordering doubles especially the mac & cheese and the brussels sprouts (even the kids loved the sprouts!). I ordered so much food, and there were barely any leftovers - that's how good it was. Thank you to all the Superba peeps that worked so hard to make my family's Thanksgiving so special. read more
