I have been getting my haircut at this Supercuts for 10+ years. The turnover of hair stylists was really bad for awhile. Therefore, it was hard to get a consistent haricut. Over the past 5-6 years I have been having Olga cut my hair. She does an awesome job. She takes her time and does not try to hurry through the haircut. She makes sure that you are satisfied and is good at remembering what type of haircut you previously had. It's a crapshoot if you have somebody else cut your hair at this Supercuts. I have always had great service at Folsom Supercuts! Not a lot of turnover so it makes it easy to get a consistent great trim. I Natalie always does such a great job for me. She's polite, easy to talk to, and very professional. I am thrilled to see her everytime I walk in. I hope Supercuts realizes how great of a staff they have at the Folsom store. For the past eight years now my family has been coming to this Supercuts for all of our haircuts. We have never had any issues with online check-in or wait times but we do always call ahead. Even if it is a few minutes you can always grab an ice cream or a pastrami sandwich next-door. Haircuts are clean and quick and we have never had to come back for a touch up. They are capable of cutting every head of hair, including young kids! We've tried the $8 haircuts elsewhere before and let's just say you get what you pay for. I will gladly pay $17 for a haircut here and $14 for the boys because quality is important! No need to look elsewhere, just call this Supercuts! read more

I usually have been somewhat satisfied with my cuts here, but this last stylist was just miserable. (name?), can't remember, ( long dark hair) but she just didn't care what she was doing. She did exactly what I told her I didn't want. She cut it all wrong, in fact I've never had a professional cut it that way. Was she stupid or doing it on purpose? She was very cold and blunt. Everybody has bad days but she could have been a little more professional and grown up and paid more attention to what I wanted. I was having a bad day also and she just made it so much worse even though I was trying to be nice to her. I had to go home and re-cut my hair after I paid her $17.00. I think I will try somewhere else next time. And tell everyone I know who she was. read more

I would like to compliment Irina on the fabulous haircut she always does for me! Irina goes above and beyond the call of duty and is accommodating to my Parkinson's disease. It's the little things she goes out of her way for like helping me get in and out of the chair etc. that makes a big difference. Not only is she accommodating, but she has a friendly personality and is very professional. RUDE RUDE RUDE! Today my husband went in, as he has before, except THIS time he got a UNSKILLED technician who, instead of LISTENING to his instructions, decided on the clipper from a piece of paper! HELLO! So she sheared one side before he realized what she was doing, but of course, too late!! Then the RUDE and IMMATURE young man at the reception desk, thought it was FUNNY and was laughing! And snickering as he swept up my husbands sheared locks! ONE INCH! That's all the trim he wanted!! Go work at fast-food restaurant if you don't care about your work or YOUR CUSTOMERS!! This place has given me terrible hair cuts every time I have gone. I always ask for a little off the top and they always never listen. If you go here, refuse to get your hair cut by an Asian women, as every time that women has touched my hair I can't go into public because Of how embarrassing my hair is. The 4th of July is around the corner and I have to cancel my plans because of how bad my hair looks. I hope the Asian women, who's name I think is Alison, gets fired so she never makes anyone feel the way I do about my terrible haircut. And after cutting it all of and making it look like a three year old cut it? I had to pay 18 dollars. Trust me people, find somewhere else to cut your hair. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH Sue Carcione!!! Don't ever try her!! My mom just had shoulder surgery and went to get her hair washed and cut so she will be able to maintain it since she can't move her arm/shoulder. SUE CARCIONE treated her like she had a disease or something and she was holding her hair with a disgusted look on her face. There was nothing wrong with my mom's hair; it was just too long for her to comb and she just had the surgery (the only person with my mom right now since i am away is my brother who is a 100% disabled veteran who can't care for himself let alone my mom.) OF COURSE, my mom's feelings were deeply hurt and she was going to cry because of how Sue was treating her so she told her to stop and wanted to get out of there. My brother then convinced her to just have someone else at the salon do it since they didn't have any other option for now and couldn't go anywhere else. SUE didn't even apologize for the way she treated my mom after what she had done!!! SUE CARCIONE, you should seriously learn how to treat PEOPLE before you learn how to cut their hair!!! You saw that she just had her surgery and was in pain and YOU chose to disrespect her instead of trying to DO YOUR JOB and help her out!! I wish i could get a hold of a manager to let him/her know how their customers are treated!! read more

Went twice today because I was in a pinch and couldn't go to my normal salon: first time they told me the wait was over an hour, and the second time 1/2 before they closed they told me there was a 40 minute wait. I asked how there could be 40 minute wait when they close in 1/2 hour and they said as long as my name was "in" they could take me. However, when I came back (went to Target while I was waiting) they had already locked the door and refused to let me in!!! They just mouthed through the glass, "no, you can't come in." Are you kidding me?! What kind of business are they running here?! One thing I know for sure is they hire very young kids straight out of cosmetology school and have CONSTANT turnover, which probably explains the lack of professionalism and common sense. But what I don't understand is why so many people go there??? There are so many other salons and barber shops in Folsom where you can actually make an appointment and not have to wait around for hours and have kids cut your hair! Needless to say, I won't be going back to Supercuts! I've learned my lesson! read more

I am a fan of Supercuts, especially of the location in Folsom. The ladies that work there are polite and courteous, as anyone would be if you treat them with kindness in return. Regarding the post on 3/1/2013. Walk in with a chip on your shoulder, argue with them even though you are in the wrong, then try to smear them because you are a bad day. You have some kinda hutzpa lady, . The woman you spoke of is my favorite stylist and she has not a spiteful bone in her body. I ask for her specifically because she is sweet, thoughtful and caring. You took her unique and playful "adios" term in a negative fashion. Not surprising as you sound like quite a negative person if things do not go your way. Take your bad attitude and childish temper tantrum somewhere else and leave the truly nice people alone. And by the way, good luck in getting a large corporation to listen to a self entitled foul mouth childish person such as yourself. Messed up my hair cut asked for a number 1 guard buzz undercut and it was clearly a 3 or higher never going back and bad costumer service.

I came in on a walk-in and didn't have to wait at all. The staff was a fine group of lovely young women who were all very personable. My stylist by the name of Irene or irena was very quick, attentive, gentle, almost intimidatingly gorgeous, and did a good job on my hair. Will definitely be back! read more

This location has far surpassed my expectations of your typical in-and-out hair salon! The staff is friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile. When calling ahead the lead time stated is usually right on target and even when; I do not call ahead there is not much of a wait. My stylist know's how I like my hair styled, she even rinses my hair before each haircut as a coutesy. Even, on the rare occasion that another sylist has to cut my hair, they always do a great job and I'm treated as if they have been cutting my hair for years. I have been coming to this location for a long time, however lately things have gone down hill. I have easy to cut hair, but one side was 1 inch shorter than the other this last cut. I wait 15 min and she cut my hair in 10 min. I have long hair. She take more time to cut boys hair then mine. I am really disappointed . This is my first time there. I have been bringing myself and kids to Supercuts for 4 years. The Salon seems know the current trends of boys hair cuts. One time they gave my son a "fauxhawk" before the trend took off. I live far away from Folsom. Once I didn't have the time to get to Folsom, so I took my son to a different salon closer to our home. They weren't up to date on the trends. We happily returned to our favorite Folsom salon. Their staff are very friendly and take their time to understand your hairstyle desires. I even love the gal that sends you on your way with a great hair cut and a happy "toodles". I haven't heard such a fun word in years. Nice to know we still have nice ladies around! read more

I will never step foot in this Supercuts again. I took my son to get his hair cut and Sabrina completely shaved off the left side of the back of his head. The right side was cut with scissors and so completely uneven I had to fix it when we got home. There is no fixing the left side and it will take months to grow out. When we went back to request a refund Sabrina cocked such an attitude. She never apologized and said it was my sons cowlick. He has no cowlick. They returned the $16.00 I paid for a haircut but didn't return the tip I gave her. Worst customer service I've had in a while and Sabrina need to go back to cosmetology school and learn how to cut hair evenly. A few classes on customer service couldn't hurt as well. read more

I was in a hurry to get my haircut yesterday, and was so glad I chose Supercuts. I never have written a Yelp review before, but I believe this business deserves a good review. I called in to get a haircut, and a guy by the name of Ryan answered who told me to come in 20 min. He was very nice and professional on the phone, and I came in exactly at my scheduled time, and he told me that they would be with me as soon as possible. I was greeted by Irina who did a FANTASTIC job on my hair. She really took her time out and made sure I was satisfied, and was very good at keeping a conversation. I wish I lived closer, because I would be choosing her as my preferred stylist. I'm very impressed by the way this business runs, and truly believe that the manger of this store should give Irina and Ryan a big compliment. You don't see good customer service these days, but in my opinion, Supercuts went above and beyond the standards yesterday. I tipped Irina well, and if anyone wants a professional looking haircut, I recommend Irina, because boy is she GREAT. (pre warning) I never usually do this because customers can post ridiculous complaints on here, but for the first time I had to. I've been a customer for a couple years now and I've always been satisfied. Recently I've noticed this uncomfortable vibe from this one stylist who was cutting my hair. I get your tired from work maybe, but I work retail and it doesn't mean I have to make the customer feel uncomfortable. The last time I was there, the person working the front register was extremely rude just because I didn't make an appointment. She sighed and took a huge breath once I said I didn't make one. I think this is extremely sad because I've been a customer here for a long time and I accepted the raise on their prices, but to be treated this was has finally lead me to take my business somewhere else. They do a great job, but personally the older woman who works the front register needs to work on her greeting methods with customers. Smile more if you can read more

I was in a rush to get my haircut yesterday and was very impressed with the customer service and defiantly will be a returning customer. I was nicely greeted by a young man who gave me an appropriate wait time and told me that a stylist will be able to cut my hair in the next 20 min. I appreciate the fact that I was greeted nicely and was assured that someone will be able to cut my hair because sometimes when I go in other Supercuts, they usually looked super stressed and act like the customer is more of a problem than a priority. I am very impressed with how clean the place was and was also astonished that they have someone sweeping hair constantly and defiantly loved the quality of my haircut! A young girl by the name of Korina cut my hair and was super friendly and always made sure I was satisfied (because sometimes I can be quite picky) and she handled me well!
