If they're good, but you don't need them in your life, they're Superfluous Pasties. If they're glitching, contact (Tech) Support Pasties. And if you're getting them for dinner, they're Supper Pasties. Absolutely wonderful shop with an even more wonderful owner. Everything he makes is delicious and homemade, and his sides are particularly awesome - with good pasta salad and spectacular coleslaw, the likes of which I haven't tasted before. If you use them to soak up basement water, they're Sump-pump Pasties. If you bring Mary Poppins here, they're Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Pasties. And if you wear them as sexy lingerie, they're Suspender Pasties. His pasties are top-notch, especially the shepherd's pie which is the one I got when I stopped in here recently. The guy knows how to make his stuff. He's not trying to copy Michigan standards or Cornwall for that matter. He's just making some absolutely delicious, unique, original, pasties of heaven. They may be the best thing I've tried in the Detroit area. If they make you shake your butt, they're Shakira Pasties. If a Kennedy chokes on them, they're Sirhansirhan Pasties. And if they're too salty, they're Shur-Fine Pasties, or most drivers these days. The decor in here as lovely as well and seems to focus on nature & wildlife in the wilderness of the Great Lakes - which are one of the most beautiful regions in North America and the world. Very underrated because of the level of industry in the cities around this area. If you take a selfie here, it's Summertimesadness Pasties. If the pasties do well in school, they're Summacumlaude Pasties. And if you eat too many of them, you'll end up looking like a Sumowrestler Pasties. And if you rescue them from the streets of Queens, they're Sammisweetheart Pasties. In any case make sure you stop in to this wonderful, unassuming, delightful, and unique pasty shop and try some of the delicious delights that this guy is making. Additionally he may also be the most friendly guy I've met in Michigan. There are pasty shops all over Montana, Wisconsin, Michigan, and other northern states - but none are quite like this one, my favourite. If hipsters get judgy about these pasties, they're Sociopath Pasties. If they refuse to be eaten, they're Insubordinate Pasties. And if they get juicier when you burn them, cut them up, and devour them, then they're Submissive Pasties.

Delicious! Have to hit up this joint on your way "up north" or before heading back. Definelty get the gravy, the perfect touch!

Turkey Pasty with gravy, pasta salad and a Vernors. Michigan food.

My unfinished review from 2011: The ladies who work here are real nice and the Pasties are reasonable and good. I'm glad I hadn't yet gone looking for them at their previous location or I might have been upset not to find them and assume they'd closed. I happened onto them by accident on my way to the Senate since they are inside the same strip mall. I immediately switched to their place knowing I could go to the Senate another day. The Pasty and gravy were good and more than I could eat in one sitting. The price was reasonable and I left full and happy. 2016: I came here two or three times on my last trip and always enjoyed the pasties I got. This was one of the places I looked forward to coming back to this trip. So far I've tried the turkey pasty, the beef Pasty, and the breakfast pasties. All have been good. I'm sure they would be even better warmed in the oven to give the crust a nice crunch but unfortunately I only have a microwave in my motel room and I can tell you they still turned out delicious warmed for 90 seconds in the microwave. I usually sit down and eat one in the place when I go in and I'm always happy with what I get. I look forward to going back and trying more varieties. Thank you to the Canadian couple up at the Soo Locks who first told me about pasties! That was in 2007 and I've been eating them ever since. I rarely find them in San Diego but there is a pasty shop near my daughter in Mesa Arizona that we always go to when I'm in town and of course I eat them wherever I can find them when I come to Michigan for visits. I even made them at home once. They turned out delicious but were a lot of work for a few pasties!

Wow! I have been here in many years and it's really much better than any UP style pasties I've had down state. Come check it out new owners are friendly and kind. Traditional Pasty I had.

Was excited to try these, but I didn't care for the steak. My boyfriend likes them though. They were a good size and a fair price.

The pasties are good but the last time I was in the owner talked negatively about muslims. I won't go back.

No two pasties are exactly alike but the traditional pasty from superior pasties is excellent.

Peach Cobbler Factory has been in business for about a year now in this western suburban Detroit strip mall where parking is never an issue. The inside of the suite was bright and spacious, however there were no seats or tables. Maybe they used to have some stools and high-tops in the past? A faux green wall was on the right, but it seemed out of sorts when nearly all places with such a social media friendly feature also have seating. There were over a dozen cobbler flavors, and each order included ice cream. The surprise was the variety of other desserts that were available. Cinnamon rolls, cookies, banana pudding, pudding shakes, brownies, Belgian waffles, and churro stix were offered. Some of these items were on display in plastic cases at the service counter. By using such a specific business name, it undersold the diversity of sweet treats that you could purchase here. A Mango Peach Cobbler was what I decided to buy. Because everything was packaged to go, the cobbler was served in one takeout container while the cinnamon vanilla ice cream was scooped into its own styrofoam cup. A cobbler is a fruit filling poured into a large baking dish that is covered with a batter/crust before being baked in an oven. It's essentially like a deep dish pie. I didn't detect much mango flavor, but the peaches were very sweet. I wished the cobbler portion size was larger for the $9 price. The ice cream was a nice touch if you wanted to eat the cobbler a la mode.
