Great story here. I feel compelled to write about my experience today, 9/24/25, Wednesday around 12:30 pm, at Eberhardts Tire and Automotive. A warning message flashed up on my dash display (2019 Ford Explorer) saying "Tire pressure sensor fault." So I decided to stop into Eberhardts location real quick with the intent of making an appointment to have it fixed on a later date. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As soon as I pulled into the lot and parked, before I could even walk into their facility, a mechanic pleasantly approached to help me.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After telling him about the message on my display he began to look in to and diagnose the problem immediately. Within five minutes he updated me with the issue (a dead battery in the sensor). Since I have a warranty they let me know that it might possibly be covered. Before I could call my warranty company to see if it was covered they mentioned it would only be about $200 and that they could get it done right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Seeing that my time is more valuable and it saved me from having to come back and drop my car off at a later date, I jumped at the chance to have it fixed right then.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (because we all know how annoying it is to drive around with a constant warning message on the dash display). Long story short, they had it all fixed and done in less than 30 minutes. From beginning to end. Wow. Ive been here once before and I was super impressed, but after this experience, i'm a lifelong customer. I came here seeking help for a transmission issue. My first phone call to them was fine, i was told I would be charged to take a look at my car to diagnose the issue, and if i had them do the job they would include it in the cost of the fix. So i had my car towed there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was given a diagnosis and during this time, the clarity of who i was, what the repair would costs, and communication about the cost of the quote to look at my car, was not consistent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The quality of service here is sub par. I was recommended to this business, my parents had used them as well in the past, so very disappointed when i got the quality of service i did, $165 to check the transmission fluid and put a code reader in. Which I had done myself and explained the issue already. It was obvious what had happened. I didn't use them for my repair. I don't recommend this place. I had a mechanic for over 25 years. I trusted him, he did great work for a fair price...a rare gem in the automotive repair world. Then he retired; I didn't think I would ever find another mechanic on par. I tried 3 other mechanics, until I found Dan at Eberhardt's. I am pleased to say that Dan and his team are phenomenal and I trust my mechanic again!!!! My wife got into an accident recently and I had the car towed to Eberhardt's directly. The damage was mostly cosmetic, so even though Dan did inspect my car he recommended a fantastic auto body repair (see my review on Ideal Autobody) that also did a great job. So not only does Dan do good work, he also knows people that do good work! I've had pretty major repair work done on 2 cars very recently and I am beyond pleased. Brand new one costs $125 plus tax next door Discount tire center, and this used tire had more than 50% thread left. Some of their guys are true automotive professionals who are completely capable of disassembling and reassembling an engine flawlessly.. It is a privilege to go somewhere and have such great service at the right price. The only thing I could ever say about this place that is less than perfect is the fact that they could use a bigger location because they're so busy. I brought my car in for alignment and Teo the mechanic drove my car and noticed it was pulling to the right. Two took my car jacked it up immediately found the problem was loose bolts connecting my suspension he tightened them up and re did my alignment. I would have never known and he told me that could have caused a bad accident if the bolts had come completely off. Back in September I brought my daughters Kia Sorento in for a serious oil leak. Turns out that it was a valve cover gasket needing to be replaced. Not a cheap repair. The job was completed in about 2 days. Everything was great. A couple weeks ago my daughter was wanting to take a road trip to San Francisco. So I took the car to get an oil change in inspection at a local oil change place. They found that the oil was leaking bad from the valve cover gasket. So I took the car in and spoke with the manager. Half expecting them to weasle out of responsibility for the issue. Mind you it wasn't his fault that gasket wore out so quickly. It was an aftermarket part that just failed. Anyway, long story short, without a hint of shadiness they accepted responsibility and got the car fixed with no additional charge. That level of honesty and professionalism is hard to find, at least from my experience. This place has gained my utmost respect. I give it my most sincerest recommendation. read more

Women should stay far away from here. I went in for an oil change for my car & of course I have heard stories of mechanics trying to take advantage of women who don't know anything about cars. But I had never had it happen to me personally before. These guys seemed very nice and honest when they asked me if I wanted to fix my air conditioning filters but the man who came up to me to ask specifically said it would only be "$29.95," when I went to pay my bill I noticed that I was charged twice this amount because the shady mechanic failed to mention that they were $29.95 EACH. They essentially tricked me into buying something I had no knowledge about in the first place by completely lying to my face. Will not be coming back here again & I suggest anyone who doesn't know much about cars or anyone with a sister, mother or daughter to not let them come here to be ripped off. read more

Honesty and customer service back in play. I had meant to write this a month ago. I had a service done to my Ford Explorer and one of the mechanics suggested I needed to change the tire at Ford. He said I had a nail in it. Last second, I decided to have Eberhardt look at it and get a competitive quote. His guy removed the tire, inspected it and the only thing they found was a rock stuck in the tread. Now they could have just changed it and charged me and I would have not known but there is something really unique about this place and I think it stems from something that is lost in this country... honesty and customer service. They explained what they found, didn't charge me anything and sent me on my way. Because of this, they got my immediate business another time later.
