This is an experience like no other! Supperland is located in a renovated church. I felt like I was dining at grandma's kitchen table. It is one set price for whatever you want to eat and you pay when you book your reservation. Drinks can be ordered while dining. The Sparkling artillery Punch and I Like to Party were both great drinks! You are started with hot towels to wipe your hands and grilled pineapple. While you can go around and at from the hot bar and cold sections, they will also walk around with oysters and French toast bites, to make a few. Everything I ate in this restaurant was truly good, even the cucumber sandwiches! The shrimp and grits are rich and indulgent. The mini crab cakes were mostly meat, hardly any fillers. They were well seasoned and with crispy edges. Shrimp skewers were grilled and with a lemon squeeze, very tasty! There are so many options to choose from. My biggest problem was getting myself to stop eating. I would definitely make the drive to dine here again

We had a 6 PM reservation at Supperland on a Tuesday and had such a great experience. Parking can be a little limited since the restaurant does not have its own dedicated parking lot, but we were able to find street parking nearby. If you live close to the area, I would recommend taking an Uber or rideshare just to make things easier. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful. It is located inside a renovated old church, and the atmosphere is gorgeous. There is also a patio and a separate bar area. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated right away. Our server, Thomas, was great and provided wonderful service throughout the evening. My friend had an extra dirty martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, and I had a Grey Goose Cosmopolitan. The drinks were excellent. For an appetizer, we had six raw oysters with a sweet honeydew and kiwi flavor. I usually prefer my oysters with cocktail sauce and horseradish, so this was something different for me, but I really enjoyed them. They had a really nice sweet and savory flavor. For dinner, my friend and I split the branzino, which was grilled with fresh herbs and was delicious. We also had the wood oven Brussels sprouts and the mac and cheese, and both were very good. Overall, the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all great. My girlfriend and I had the perfect girls' night out enjoying dinner, drinks, and catching up. I really enjoyed my experience at Supperland and would definitely recommend it.

We had an amazing time at the Chef's table a few Sundays ago! The chefs table was very hot at first, as it's in front of the kitchens flame, but got used to the temp. Christy, our server and a Level 2 Somm was amazing! She helped guide as through our first visit. Hands down can say this is the best steak I've ever had. Better than any other steakhouse. The filet was perfect. We loved every one of the sides we ordered. I probably wouldn't order the caramelized onion dip again, it was not onion-y enough but the chips with it were fantastic. Cocktails were delicious! The bottle of wine we had was great too. While we waited for our table we went next door to The Bar and had a drink. Cute vibe in there, you can also order from the full food menu I believe. Th speakeasy is closed on Sundays so we weren't able to see that. We are excited to come back! Can definitely get away with ordering a few sides (all family style) and have that for dinner if you don't want to spend a lot on the entrees. New fav restaurant in CLT!!

Wow what an amazing experience. It was a celebration meal so ordered a ton: sausage gravy croquettes, oysters, charred Caesar salad, carrots, steak, onions. Ian took really great care of us. Cocktails were delicious. Decor and lighting so cute. We loved our dinner there!!!!!

I've been seeing this place all over social media and decided to finally check them out. My daughter and I have birthdays 2 days apart and decided dinner here should be good! It's a cute restaurant with church pews, open space and a view directly into the kitchen. Cory was our waiter and he was nice and made great recommendations with it being our first time visiting. The food was excellent from the appetizer through dessert! Because it was our birthdays, Cory gave us complimentary macarons that were chef kiss just like our meal! We tried the branzino, pot roast, broccoli, potatoes and the dip for an appetizer! Everything was a 10/10 in did. However, our food took forever to come. I know it wasn't a server issues and seems to be related more to how they prepare the food directly in the wood ovens.

There are no words to describe how phenomenal this restaurant is on every level! We went here to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The food, the service , the atmosphere m...everything- all of it is exceptional. Thank you for such a magical experience! A perfect 10!

We had a reservation at Supperland, and while they were running a little behind (understandably so with the bad weather and guests lingering longer), the team handled it perfectly. The manager, Walter, personally escorted us to the bar area and helped us find a couple of seats so we could relax with drinks while we waited. It ended up being such a fun start to the night, we watched the mixologist at work, which was really cool, and the vibe in the extended bar area was fantastic. Honestly, we could've stayed there all evening. Once our table was ready, we ordered several plates to share, and everything was incredible as always. The French onion dip is our favorite. I've truly never had a bad experience here, great food, great atmosphere, and thoughtful service every time. Highly recommend.

We decided to bar hop one night and landed ourselves at Supperland. I think we got lucky, as they had one table open in the little offshoot bar area that night. Service was great! Friendly, attentive, and helpful with suggestions. Of course, it was beautiful inside. I loved the bright but soft lighting, the open vaulted ceilings, the wallpaper, and they even have plates made for them from England! Talk about details!! Drinks were thoughtfully crafted and well-balanced. There is a wide selection of bases to fit everyone's tastes. We just had a few bar bites (bread, wedge salad, and miso mac & cheese). All were great! Left me wanting to try more for sure! But the M&C - drool. I love miso and would have never thought of the combo - it works oh so well! All this being said, I can see why it's a hot spot in town! I can't wait to go back. I hear Sunday brunch is all the rage!

We came for the brunch! Very cute restored church with aesthetically cute plates and silverware. The food was okay... I would probably rate it a 3.5 star due to the price for what you actually get. The French toast bites were definitely the "wow" factor but unfortunately they were a little hard to get because they were the "pass around" plates that rarely came over. The skewers and spicy gravy were good!

This place is super cute! We sat outside and loved it. The drinks were good we had some mocktails and enjoyed the weather. The service was super slow that's our only complaint.

Really cute place inside an old church with lovely light fixtures. My friend and I went for the weekend brunch buffet and felt it was overpriced. We tried almost everything and nothing really had a wow factor and did not feel like we ate $80 worth of food. The bread for the Loaded Tea Sandwiches was dry. The Mixed Greens Salad was good but we had to ask for dressing, if there was dressing it was very light. The French Toast Bites were our favorite, the server comes around with these and we had to ask. I ordered a coffee and it was brought to the table next to us, the server came and moved it from their table to ours which was odd. Staff was nice but will not be doing this again due to value.

Another amazing place in Charlotte located in a cool part of town. This restaurant was built within an old church and includes a custom wood fired cooking grill that is quite impressive. We sat at the bar which allowed us to watch and smell all the amazing dishes being made. The service was great and the experience was amazing. We shared our dishes and everything was quite delicious. It's on the pricey side but they staff for a full house so I get it and the quality is top notch.

The wings were AMAZING, and the sliders were absolutely delicious! They were so good that I devoured them before I even thought to take a picture! Unfortunately, the pierogies were the one disappointment, especially since they were actually the main reason I decided to order from here. They were a bit too greasy for my taste. After eating two, I ended up placing the rest on a paper towel to absorb some of the excess oil, which unfortunately made them less enjoyable. That being said, I would definitely eat at The Degenerate again. I'd happily order the wings and sliders again, but I would probably skip the pierogies next time unless they're one of those dishes that are simply better enjoyed fresh at the restaurant rather than as takeout. Overall, there were definitely more hits than misses, and those sliders and wings alone are worth another visit!

It was fun to explore the hotel rooms and just be in this dope energy. I didn't have a full cocktail, just sipped and tried a few of my friends. I can see this being a great date night spot, or some where to go to unwind and just catch the vibes. I wish it was bigger but it's a cute spot for sure!! I was super surprised about the parking lot in the back too. That has to be very helpful for them in Plaza Midwood area. Will definetly be back!!

The issues we faced were not having a reservation - the options online were wide open so we thought it was safe to show up - and had to wait a long time. In hindsight, I should've went ahead and made the reservation, so I'll take responsibility, but was disappointing for the experience to be so different than we expected. We were able to sit outside and waited for about 40 mins to get our table. Service was very slow. It just felt like they were really understaffed. We were there for probably 2ish hours and only got 1 drink (the one outside) as it was so hard to flag down our waitress, etc. I suspect that this place, having recently received awards / gone viral, is a victim of a huge influx of people stopping by. I wanted to love it! I'd go back during off hours and definitely make a reservation. The vibe was really cool, and the music was great. Parking is questionable, there's a gravel lot that is shared with the restaurant next door. We parked on the street, was unclear if they tow there or not.

Interesting menu for cocktails. Very unusual and unique recipes. With down ingredients I've never heard of. Definitely crafting their cocktails. Service was great, the owner sits at the bar with customers which was cool. We scanned the menu but stuck to the classic Negroni which was made perfectly and their version of an espresso martini made with salted coconut foam. A very strong drink and I loved that foam! Good take on it. We had a great time enjoying our cocktails and listening to the music amongst our own conversations. Nice and chill place to hang out . Inside was cool with great artwork. They also had a patio too. I was glad to see they stayed busy til they closed at 1am. Really enjoyed finally checking this place out.

Definitely a unique take, but I didn't like the menthol/minty flavor. The peach beach drink was fun, but would've loved to see it just on the rocks & not frozen (perhaps an option?) - fun little beach ball stress ball on it, though! The staff was friendly and informative, as well as attentive. Also, the cheez-its were delicious as a snack. Cool spot for a cocktail with friends or a date. Room at the bar and tables, plus outdoor seating. Not sure the status on the pool table if you have to pay per game, but they do have one.

There were several "reserved" tables that remained empty until after we had finished eating, so I think the restaurant could benefit from a better reservation system with more accurate buffer times to accommodate walk-in guests. To avoid the wait, we decided to sit at the bar, and I'm glad we did because the food was amazing. The fried chicken and waffles were perfectly seasoned, and the waffle had a unique texture and flavor that reminded me of a combination of a traditional waffle and a soft pretzel. The cheesy potato cake was absolutely delicious. The fruit bowl was also good, but I wish they had been a little more generous with the blueberry pudding. The shrimp and grits came with large tomatoes, which may not be for everyone, and my friend felt the dish was lacking grits overall. She didn't feel like she got her money's worth. Would I go back? Absolutely. My meal was delicious, and I can't wait to return and try more of their homemade, fresh dishes. I also think it's great that they partner with local farmers to help curate their menu.
