Fantastic calzone!! We added pepperoni and mushroom, and the ricotta was amazing. Also tried the garlic knots and the antipasto salad, both of which were pretty good. The sauce you get to dip the garlic knots in was great and a little sweet. read more

Just fine for a quick slice - the pasta dishes are pretty good. Not really any decor to speak of, but it's a casual place so folks don't really come for the atmosphere. I'm not a fan of the super-cheesy/greasy pizza style, and like a bit more spice. But it's better than most of the godawful pizza around Myrtle Beach! read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! The girlfriend and I just picked up two pizzas right at close which if you have ever worked in the restaurant industry is a pain so sorry about that but, we get there and realize I failed to mention we needed them gluten free, I thought I was up * creek without a paddle( again sorry). Best pizza I have had along the grand strand ever! 99.9% of all the pizza I've ever had in the Myrtle Beach area over the past 45 years has not been very good at all except for this place. Being from the Northeast I know what real authentic New York style pizza should be and this is the closest you'll ever get without leaving the state of South Carolina. Just ate here tonight and loved everything we ate. I had cavetelli with broccoli and loved it. Hubby had meat lasagna and said it was the best he's ever had. We were visiting from out of town and found this place on Yelp and it said it had delivery. We ordered a large pepperoni and cheese pizza for pickup since they informed us that they didn't deliver to Ocean Lakes, which is only 1.5 miles away. Really, how far do they deliver then?? No matter, we made the short drive and found the shop easily enough. You could smell the aroma of Italian food from the street and when we went in we noticed the local police and fire department grabbing dinner, which is usually a good sign. The staff was friendly and the patrons all appeared to be enjoying themselves. The food looked great. We got our pizza and went back to our beach house. The pizza was wonderful with plenty of spicy pepperoni and a perfect amount of cheese and tasty sauce. The crust was thin and foldable with a perfect New York style pizza oven taste! We will definitely return again and try other dishes! Glad we didn't get turned off by the small delivery area!! read more

Such a great little gem of a pizza place! We ordered pizza for carryout, and it was so good! We don't like to eat at chain restaurants during vacation, and we were tired of seafood, so pizza seemed a logical choice. We ordered 2 regular pizzas and a personal one for our ultra-picky child who will only eat cheese pizzas. My goodness - the regular pizzas were HUGE!!!!! Way bigger than a large pizza at a chain place. We'll have leftovers for days! That's ok, because it was delicious! We'll be back next year! read more

Owners of this restaurant to use to own a restaurant in my hometown of Warwick New York. Used to go there every Friday night for pizza. Move to Merrills Inlet and I was down here for about 12 years when I read in a local paper about a new pizza restaurant opening in Surfside Beach when I read that it was the owners of the pizza place from my hometown I could not believe it and was so excited couldn't wait for them to open up. Been here many times to eat and the food is always excellent my favorite dish there is the eggplant Rollitini. I still have not found another restaurant that makes it as good as they do highly recommend this restaurant. read more

Not enough great things could be said about this place. I ordered the gluten free pizza and it was amazing, by far the best gluten free pizza I have ever had! What made it even better was the price! Gluten free pizza is normally crazy expensive but here it was around the same price for a normal pizza! My family also ordered the stuffed pizza and a pepperoni pizza and they all said it was the best pizza they've ever had! Staff was super friendly and easy to talk to. We've been vacationing at Surfside and Garden City beaches for the past 18 years. Every year when we arrive on Saturday we pick up pizza while everyone unpacks. This year after hearing about Surfside Beach Pizza & Restaurant we decided to try it for lunch during the week to see if it was as good as our usual pizza place (which is great but painful to get to during Saturday's crazy beach traffic). I'm excited to say the vote was unanimous...Surfside Beach Pizza is even better than our old go-to place. Next year's vacation will definitely start with Surfside Beach Pizza!!! read more

My boyfriend and I eat here ALL the time and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this establishment. For starters, it's in an adorable part of Surfside Beach and even though it's a small place, it's charming. The owner is always there, creating his masterpieces in the kitchen. He remembers us and speaks to us every time we go in, even if it's just for takeout. The staff have always been exceptionally friendly, even when they are busy. And the food.... there are no words. Every thing we've ever eaten here has been off the charts amazing. We recommend Surfside Beach Pizza to people all the time and when they ask us where in Surfside is the best place to eat our answer is always Surfside Beach Pizza. GREAT pizza, obviously. I love their calzones! My boyfriend is a huge fan of their Italian sausage. We almost always get dessert because of their delicious canolis and limoncello cake! We usually get an appetizer, too, because their garlic knots and garlic cheese bread are heavenly. In conclusion, haha, we love this place and are usually in once a week. The best pizza I have found in the area. Delicious thin crust. Greasy and cheesy -- the way a pizza should be! The sandwiches are also phenomenal and I plan on sampling the rest of the menu. We found this place because of Yelp and it did not disappoint. The garlic knots are a must along with the calamari. You can tell the marinara sauce is fresh.
