Went to lunch with my daughter her and we got the all you can eat. It was a great deal. I got crab Rangoon and pot stickers for my appetizer and spicy crab and spicy salmon rolls. I enjoyed everything. The rolls were fresh and delicious and very filling. My appetizers were hot and tasty as well. Our server was amazing - very friendly and helpful. They offer indoor and patio seating. It was a nice day and we ate outside. It was a great lunch spot!

Sushi Ai is one of the most known AYCE in St. Louis. They offer an incredibly diverse menu, including appetizzers, maki rolls, special rolls, nigiri and sashimi. The lunch menu is a bit smaller than the dinner menu, thus it's cheaper. I have never had a bad experience here, but it's definitely not the best quality sushi. However, I think it's good for the price you pay to eat as much as possible. My favorite items arethe crab rangoons, tempura veggies, spicy tuna roll and the honey roll.

The BEST Crab Rangoon. Light and crispy. The sweet and sour sauce is delicious

We always enjoy Sushi Ai. They have some of the freshest sushi in town, in our opinion. And of course their All You Can Eat menu is what we order from, since it's most economical, without loss of quality. Their bubble Clayton store has moved to a larger new facility, but on the same street. I love the big windows and the outdoor light that beams into the dining area. Our server was very nice and exhibited excellent customer service skills.

Came with a friend at 4:30 after work and we're seated right away. Our server was attentive and brought out waters quickly which were in nice big glasses. The menu was big but they only gave us one menu on top of the all you can eat sushi menus that are always on the table but we didn't want the all you can eat. We both ordered two rolls each. I got a California roll and the vegetable roll. The veggie roll was the highlight. It was a nice balance of savory and sweet from the sweet potato. They always give a little plate with ginger and wasabi and a spit to pour out soy sauce. It got pretty busy by the time we left and they ask you don't take a table for longer than two hours. I love the new location it's so big and nice. I'll be coming back if I want sushi. Street parking.

This is the only place I go to for sushi. I love the Fried St. Louis Roll. It never fails me. You order your meal using the forms at the table; everything is so efficient there. Prices are reasonable, service is pretty good, and the space in Clayton is always really clean.

GUYS. Don't want to gatekeep and am so proud bc I love this location compared to others I've been to. THEY'VE MOVED LOCATIONS!! Literally further down the sidewalk where old location used to be across from Smoothie King, AQ Nail Spa, and KINK Hair. I always thought the space at Clayton location was smaller than their potential. Every time I've gone especially during peak hours such as dinner there would be people waiting outside waiting for tables because there is such limited seating, every table would be full, etc. Today, my friend and I were so so pleasantly surprised when we saw the new location. I was internally jumping for joy. I have attached pictures bc their address is not updated that I know of yet. Our server said they just moved last week and I think it was long overdue! There is AMPLE seating now, decently spread out, and even outdoor seating! Ambience is very nice, sleek, clean, but welcoming. My friend and I said we felt so "bougie" coming in lol. They have updated their menus including the AYCE dinner menu (forgot to snap a pic of the lunch AYCE sorry). Drinks were great, food was so tasty and actually better than before in my friend's and I opinion. Would 10000% be coming back again and HIGHLY recommend.

You can never go wrong with the paper slip for 24.99! Ambiance is nice, love the change of the location as it's open and welcoming. Food has always hit the spot:

Pro tip if you plan on going to the clayton sushi ai location - don't. Service was ass i genuinely saw one of the waiters make eye contact with me holding a menu out and just blow clean past me, food took forever to come out, and not because it took a long time to make - i could see the food on the counter just sitting there its just that nobody bothered to bring it to us. Crunchy stuff had gone stale, they combined me and my dad's crab rangoons so i didnt get any sauce with it, and i couldnt even finish my sushi because the pieces were like, soggy?? And the nigiri smelled and tasted quite off, would not be surprised if i end up getting food poisoning. If you are in clayton and you want sushi you are genuinely better off making the drive to a completely different location 15 minutes away. 1 star.

I've been coming to Sushi Ai since their old location and I'm really happy with the new spot. It's about four stores down now and the space feels very modern and more upscale. I like that they went with an open design concept. It makes the place feel bigger and cleaner. They have new workers and everyone is super efficient. It still gets very busy, even during a weekday lunch, but if you come closer to 3 pm it definitely dies down. Overall, I've never had any complaints here and the quality has stayed consistent through the move. My only ask is please keep the price point the same. It's one of the reasons I keep coming back.

Sushi AI's lunch AYCE is our go-to! Not only is a great deal, but the quality is consistent and service is always great. Absolutely love the new location, it is much bigger and has tons of natural light.

I went for the all you can eat (AYCE) sushi. It's a very fair price of 25 dollars. They had tons of different options between rolls and nigiri. The sushi was flavorful and fresh! I was surprised how much I loved the salmon rolls. The server checked frequently for new orders to keep the sushi coming. It's an open concept and it was really cool to see them making all the sushi. With that being said I sat at the bar and it was annoying to have the servers keep having to come right next to you to pick up orders. I would get a table next time.

They moved to a new location! It is a block down N Central Ave now (I believe 44 N Central Ave, which is still not reflected in Google Maps). The new space is definitely an upgrade- more seating, modern decor. Same sushi bar set up but now it is more elegant/emphasizes. Sushi AI is my boyfriend and I's guilty pleasure. When we have a craving for sushi and our stomachs being challenged to their limits... We usually come for the UNBEATABLE lunch all you can eat, but tried the dinner deal this time. It's $9 more expensive, but certainly worth it with an extended menu, particularly the grilled squid and chicken (yaki). The nigiri is not my favorite, as sometimes the fish does not taste the most fresh. I enjoyed the rainbow roll and spicy girl roll, and my boyfriend liked the american dream roll and the rock n' roll. While the sushi roll options cannot parallel those of a coastal sushi restaurant, the deal at Sushi AI is truly special, and I consider it a fixture of St. Louis.

Ours was amazing, she said "we don't fork shame here" I fork shame, but she refused. Good for her! I also ordered a cocktail. I would arrive to Sado just for this cocktail, it had a coconut pillow top, that was reminiscent of a marshmallow. Delightful compliment to my savory dinner. I was very surprised at the size of Sado on the inside, we made a turn into the seating then a second turn deeper into seating. I did not get to check out the bathrooms, which disappointed me, but the ambiance was very dark and romantic, also unexpected, there were several tables of friend groups.

Some of the bites are definitely an acquired taste (this meal was my first exposure to eating liver and sea urchin - both very bold and unique flavors) but getting to try new foods was something I really liked about this meal. The restaurant is beautiful, warm, and bright. You get to sit right up at the counter with just 5 other people when you do the nine-course dinner. Each course is prepared in front of you so it's neat to be able to see the chefs prepare the next course while you're eating. When you book the reservation, you get the choice to pick between tempura and yakizakana for one of the courses, and while the tempura was good (which I ordered), the yakizakana was excellent (which my husband ordered). They do a great job explaining what everything is that you're eating, how to eat it, and which order to eat it in. And even though it's all small bites, we left dinner feeling full and satisfied. However, I had a different experience in April. My friend made a reservation for his birthday today. It was the groups' first time coming and they were all very excited. We called multiple times to make sure a group of 12 was okay. We are all aware that not every restaurant is suitable for such a big group, but were told it was not a problem. As soon as we sat down, we could tell one of the servers was very annoyed at the group. From the start, he would answer with an attitude, harshly put the plates on the table, and was outright disrespectful when we asked about a friend's plate that never arrived. This person ended up leaving and going to eat somewhere else. I was a server before and understand that big groups can be frustrating. Nevertheless, there is no excuse to treat a table so rudely when they have been nothing but nice and understanding. The food was great, but we were all extremely dissapointed, specially me since I've been here numerous times with no problem. I had never seen this server before, so I'm not sure if it was an off day for him or what. Most people said they would not come back, which made me very sad since it's good food. Thankfully, the female servers were all very nice and accomodating after the entire situation. I highly recommend Sushi Koi for their rolls. However, do not come in big groups.
