My number one, my heart... Sushi bar. Staff is extremely fast and so so kind. I am obsessed with their house salad/dressing, gyoza and jaguar roll. You cannot beat ordering a glass of wine here...fullest pour in the city. I really love this gem in broad ripple and it'll always be my number one sushi spot - also honorable mention for their patio outside when weather is nice

It had been a few years since my last visit, but Sushi Bar is still quality sushi and amazing service. Highly recommend for a date night or family lunch date. Reasonable and fresh ingredients.

    Sashimi deluxe

Visiting family in Indy and had dinner at Sushi Bar for the first time, it was incredible! We ordered the sashimi deluxe and three rolls (Tiger, dynamite & jalapeño), they were all very fresh and delicious. Cozy and welcoming greetings from Anna the owner, we love seeing all the lovely pictures on the wall of all the smiley customers who visited the restaurants before, will def return again next time I'm in town. Highly recommend!

So glad we decided to stop in to the Sushi Bar! It's in the neighborhood we are staying in while we're in town, and we had a craving for sushi. The weather was lovely so we sat outside. The server was kind and attentive--was very accommodating with dietary restrictions and knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered a handful of rolls, and they brought them out on a lovely display. Everything was really fresh and delicious (and priced well to boot)!

We got rained out at the state fair so we decided to stop in Broad Ripple for dinner tonight. Sushi Bar is located right on the main road so it was hard to miss! There is a very small parking lot behind the restaurant, but you will most likely have to find side street parking wherever you can and walk a bit to the restaurant. Upon entering we were greeted and sat quickly. Got our menus and waters right away. The restaurant was smaller than I expected, but nice and the decor was cute. It felt really cozy, casual, and intimate inside. There were people in and out the entire time we were there, so I'm guessing it's a pretty popular spot! We got crab rangoon for our appetizer; loved the sweet & sour sauce!! Next we got our house salad and miso soup; both really good. For our entrees, we got shrimp teriyaki, chicken teriyaki, and a sushi roll to share. We got the teriyaki because we were unsure how big the rolls were, but a sushi roll for one person would suffice. The shrimp teriyaki was really good, not too heavy. The sushi was my favorite part of the whole meal. We got the Mexican roll and it was delicious! Definitely check this place out if you're into sushi. I'm so happy we found this place and can't wait to go back:-)

We have always had great experiences coming here. The service is always very quick! It can get very busy so expect a small wait on Friday/Saturday Evenings. It's a smaller restaurant but the perfect vibe! They do have outdoor seating and it's perfect during the summer evenings. Food is always great of course. Gyoza is delicious along with their salad, miso soup, & edamame! I also recommend their boxes.

One of my favorite sushi spots in Indy! Great prices and selection of rolls. The patio seating is nice as you can look out onto Broad Ripple Ave.

Service is always fantastic. Presentation of the sushi is always different and keeps you guessing. Will you get a flower? A boat? Who knows! Tons of rolls, lots of non sushi options too. Near the top of the favorites list are the Christmas roll and American Dream

This is by far one of my favorite restaurants to go to in Indianapolis. This place is consistently amazing!! Highly recommend for great service, fresh foods, and the best crab rangoon in the city

We LOVE Sushi Bar as Butler University students. I've been coming here with my friends all four years and have made some great memories. The atmosphere and service is always top-notch and the food is delicious. The outdoor patio is so fun and has a great atmosphere when the weather is nice. However, our favorite are the private rooms, which you can usually call ahead to reserve. It's fun to have a little room to yourselves! In addition, I've been to Sushi Bar for a few birthdays and if you let the staff know, they'll give you a complimentary dessert with candles. I've ordered a variety of items during my many trips to Sushi Bar. My favorites include the crab rangoons, edamame, chicken fried rice, Dragon Roll, and Eel Roll. I also recommend their wine - they're generous with the pours! We will continue to come to Sushi Bar until we graduate, and maybe even come back to visit when we're back in Indianapolis!

The servers had to be prodded three times for water! The restaurant only had two other patrons so they weren't crowded. My katsu curry was cold as if it had been refrigerated. I asked if they had prosecco or a small champagne spit. Since he was new he didn't know, he calls the manager & no. Ok - no problem, I'll take a Merlot & my husband a Cabernet. Drinks didn't come so we asked again, he returned stating they didn't have Merlot. So we said- ok 2 Cabernets & he brought 2 Chardonnay's. He apologized & brought the Cabs. Our appetizers were good, so we ordered dinner. My husband's dinner came 10 minutes or more before mine & I had to ask for our soup and salads. We just kinda laughed it off. Also, There was a young lady who kept bringing others food to our table? It was a pleasant surprise that when we got the bill, he did not charge us for the wine, but were told they don't take American Express. To top it off I left my to go box there I would get carry out, however won't dine in again.

The fish was so fresh, and you could genuinely taste the nori, which makes a huge difference. We branched out and tried the Kumamoto oysters too. Worth it. They're tinier than your typical oyster and came with a range of flavors from the seasonings and sauces. Honestly, we wish they'd been served more simply because we wanted to compare them to the ones we've had in Japan, and all the sauce made that tough. Still a fun order though. Skip the Seafood Pot, in our opinion. It tasted like Bird's Nest to us and just wasn't anything special compared to everything else. Bottom line: come for the sushi. It's the standout, and it's what'll bring us back. With ramen, hibachi, bubble tea, and a full bar also on the menu, there's plenty to explore on a return visit.

All of my loved ones were there to celebrate my birthday, and paired with such amazing food it made it a magical night. It was a Tuesday night and was fairly busy, but we passed any downtime chatting with each other and sipping on cocktails. The owner, Nara, is SO kind, sweet, gracious, I could go on and on. You can tell she really loves her job and running a business. The staff were so attentive for such a large party and made sure we always had fresh cocktails, water refills, and empty plates were removed promptly. We had vegetarians, peanut allergies, and picky eaters, but they accommodated everyone. I think my husband and I ended up splitting 5 sushi rolls total (still dreaming of them) and the table pretty much split multiple appetizers across the board. Everyone loved their cocktails, appetizers, and entrees. When I thanked Nara for such an amazing dinner and let her know it was my first time dining there and that it was my birthday she brought out a round of lychee sake shots for the table and started playing a happy birthday song throughout the restaurant. Literally almost cried because it was so sweet and thoughtful. The sake was crazy delicious and a hit for the whole table. The only *minor* downside was that each cocktail was made individually by what seemed to be just one bartender, so it took some time for drinks to come out. Again, otherwise a perfect meal, but keep that in mind and be patient for drinks to come out! My husband and I's favorite sushi haunt has always been Mori Sushi before now, but now I cannot wait to come back to Hasuno for more amazing appetizers and sushi rolls!!! They have a small parking lot that fills up fast, but there is always lots of street parking in fountain square. It's a great spot for dinner and easily walkable to other spots for nightcaps to end the evening.

Let's start with price- yes it's a little pricey. But I understand they are making up for the cost of the downtown location. Definitely a place to go on special occasions if your budget is not set up to splurge here. Would love to see a happy hour menu here so more people can try the food. Next is the quality of the food, which IMO, justifies the price. "Less is more" is so important when it comes to sushi rice. I love being able to get sushi and not feel so full because the minimally necessary amount of rice was used and doesn't leave you full after one roll. All of the special rolls we liked in the following order. 1) Bonfire 2) Orange Blossom 3) Cherry Blossom 4) Trish 5) Emperor 6)Thursday The miso soup was perfect and priced at $3. The drinks and gyoza were good too, but not too special. I would definitely save my appetizer/beverage $ for the rolls. We ordered smoked salmon, hamachi, and scallop sashimi. Scallop was our favorite for the sashimi, but all were amazing. The star (and priciest) of our dinner we did not capture, but it was the Maduro Nigiri. The quality was very good and fatty, I thought it tasted like Hara-naka. Service was great. No wait. 10 out of 10 recommend.

I'm not a fan of raw sushi, so I always get the sweet potato roll and/or the stop 11 roll. We ordered DoorDash last night and added the tomago roll and it will be added to my favorites at Sushi Club. The stop 11 roll was all gone before I could snap a picture, but there are pictures uploaded by other users. Note: I do substitute soy wrapper instead of seaweed and I add cream cheese to the tomago and sweet potato rolls. It's $2 extra but well worth it. As far as pricing goes, when you order DoorDash there is a slight up-charge, but it's still fair pricing. We got three rolls for $40 with tip and service fees. Three people ate, so overall not a bad deal. If you want to dine in, they do offer AYCE made to order appetizers and sushi. The restaurant itself is no frills, but it's a good bargain if you can eat a good amount of food. If you don't like something, tell the server and don't just leave it on your plate at the end because you'll be charged extra if you leave a certain number of pieces. If you're a light eater like me and AYCE isn't for you, there is a full menu to order from. If you haven't tried this place, give them a shot!
