As most of the reviews pointed out this is a solid Japanese restaurant. The items were not complicated, but the ingredients were fresh and everything was well made. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the seafood and the authenticity of the ingredients. It's a small space with simple decor and friendly service.

Went for the 2nd time and didn't disappoint. My boy loves sushi and having this joint down the streets going to make it easier.

The phrase "hidden gem" has been way overused....and I'm gonna use it again. Sushi Dragon is a hidden gem. I have driven by literally hundreds of times and never even saw the restaurant, despite having been told about their excellent sushi many times by Elite Yelper Gary I. It's tucked away in a strip mall (huge parkng lot in back btw) with no flashing lights or big signs out in front. It's easy to miss; but once you've dined here, it's unforgettable. The three of us sat at the sushi bar. If you're a regular, they will apparantly store your favorite sake in a special locker. Gary I kindly shared his delicous sake with us, as well as some delicous dishes Chef whipped up using ingredients brought in by Gary himself (clam sushi and anglerfish liver). I then went with omakase and loved every morsel of some incredibly fresh sushi. Chef clearly has devoted fans. Other patrons had driven from the South Bay area for his sushi and lots of regulars stopped by. I can see why; I'll be back for sure.

Food is incredible, never fails to hit the spot. We come here way too often lol and for any big occasion! Tommy is the best sushi chef, Beto making all the hot stuff in the back is on fire and the service is 5 stars. The vibe is chill and perfect for night out with friends family or solo.

The sushi here is always amazing. My adult sons brought me here for my birthday. And as usual, we had a super great time. The sushi chef/owner is a very nice guy. His name is Tommy-San. He always greats us with a big smile and is ready to have a friendly conversation. That night we had Omakase sushi, which means that it is the chef's choice on what he serves us. Everything Tommy-San made was amazing! Eventually Tommy-San joined us at our table to celebrate my birthday. He made us oyster shooters to toast my bday. Then in honor of my bday, Tommy-San brought out a special Japanese beer that is not on the menu and I had never seen before. We all toasted and shared the beer. Go visit Tommy-San. You'll be glad you did.

All the other reviews were right when they said this place was a hidden gem. They give generous portions and have friendly service. Sushi was fresh and tempura was grease free. This place quiet and cozy during lunch time. Only downside is they have limited lot parking but there is street parking nearby!

    Do they have Omakase here?

Omakasè in Japanese means to depend on the Chef's judgement as what is good for that day. Chef Tommy is a great Sushi chef who brings in the best fish everyday so in that case, yes.…

I'll start with the few negatives because, honestly, there weren't many. With how popular this place has become and the number of regulars that come in every day, parking can be a little difficult. Thankfully, they have someone outside helping direct cars and navigate the parking situation, which definitely makes things easier. The interior is also a little outdated and could use some updating, but once the food comes out, you quickly forget about it. Now for the good stuff. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Great service always makes a difference, and the staff here really added to the overall experience. We ordered the Spicy Tuna Rice Cake, Crispy Shrimp Roll, Mula Roll, and KB4 Roll, and every single one was a hit. Spicy Tuna Rice Cake -- Easily one of the highlights of the meal and an absolute MUST TRY. You get four pieces of crispy rice that have the perfect crunch on the outside while still being light and fluffy inside. They're topped with avocado and some of the best spicy tuna I've ever had. The tuna was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and creamy. I could've ordered another plate of these by themselves. Crispy Shrimp Roll -- Another must-try. This roll has so much flavor and the perfect amount of crunch without being overwhelming. At only $10, it's honestly hard to pass up. I can definitely see myself ordering this every time I come back. Mula Roll -- This one is definitely on the pricier side at $28, but it's worth it. It's loaded with premium, incredibly fresh fish, including unagi and tuna, along with avocado and savory sauces. The fish was buttery and fresh, with a subtle kick of heat that brought everything together. Definitely a roll for anyone who likes richer, more flavorful sushi. KB4 Roll -- A great combination of spicy tuna, yellowtail, albacore, and salmon. What I really liked was that the fish was served chunky rather than finely minced, so you could actually appreciate the different textures and flavors. The fish was incredibly fresh and practically melted in your mouth. Absolutely delicious. Overall, Chiba is a hidden gem in the Valley and easily one of the better sushi spots I've tried. Between the quality of the fish, the flavors, the portions, and the friendly service, it's a place I'll definitely be coming back to. Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Overall: 10/10 -- Highly recommend! The carwash roll was absolutely delectable, not on the menu, probably my favorite of the night. The crunchy shrimp handroll was amazing. We also ordered a shrimp tempura cut roll that comes with a unique sauce that stole the show. Overall great quality sushi, we were very happy with all our choices. The dedicated parking lot is a decent size, no trouble finding parking. Check this place out if you're in the area and in the mood for good sushi!

The quality of the fish is also quite nice and the flavor is not tiring. Not like Octopus, where I can get tired of eating because the same flavor profile is consistent across all the dishes. No. Fuguya might have just become my new favorite spot for AYCE. In terms of price it costs the same as Octopus but the value is bigger and the quality is better! The fish to rice ratio is on point.
