The sushi is pretty good ! However the service is TERRIBLE. you wait for at least 30 mins to get your food. They have 50% off sushi rolls when you dine in, but it's really not even worth it because the "special rolls" are $18-20 ... and they are so small when they come out it doesn't even feel like you're getting a deal. I've been a few times now and the experience has been the same every time, the servers make you wait forever and the food takes forever to come out. Two weeks ago I went and when the manager / owner saw my party of 3 he sighed... almost like he didn't want us to be there. He told us they were so busy we had to come back at 7, which was 30 mins later. Doesn't look like much when you drive by but it is worth a visit! It's located right behind my favorite hibachi restaurant and chase. First things first it's 50% dine in EVERYDAY!!!! Should I repeat myself? Because that should make you want to visit. The menu is pretty large so I suggest looking over ahead of time to have a idea of what you are wanting. Outside of picture shown the house salad is really good their ginger dressing is delicious with a sweet taste. The crab salad is good as well. You nice a portion with this salad. First time visiting Sushi Factory, and overall I have to say it was a good experience! I chose this restaurant because they had a big sushi menu. I loved how many different options they had. They have something for everyone here. I ordered a pomegranate cocktail which was really good, and three sushi rolls: Mario roll, moon roll, and playboy roll. They were so good and all of the seafood tasted fresh! We also ordered a crab Rangoon which was delicious. The menus could have been wiped down before we got them, but other than that, it was a solid experience and I will definitely be back for more! read more

We'd heard about Sushi Factory's expansive menu, and despite the lukewarm reviews here on Yelp, and my usual skepticism toward midwest sushi, we gave it a shot. We came late on a Saturday afternoon, and the restaurant was about half full, though there was only one server. She did seem a little overwhelmed at times, and service was understandably a bit slow as a result. The roll selection was indeed impressive. I wound up getting a bulgogi roll, and a cardinal roll (the latter a shrimp tempura roll with crab and other things). I also ordered gyoza. I was a bit disappointed that the gyoza was deep fried -- I prefer pan fried, and there was no indication on the menu. Both rolls were tasty and filling, though, and fairly inexpensive (50% off when dining in). It's not my favorite sushi place in town, but we'll likely return for the impressive variety of options. These are the only good things I could say about this restaurant! The prices are expensive for what you get. I could get fresh made hibachi in front of me for the price I paid and for a lot larger of portions. It was absolutely insane, I never finish my meals here, especially as a girl and I did. I got the NY Strip + Shrimp hibachi with fried rice! The salad you got served with it was great, the house made soup was terrific! When my plate was sat down on my table, I was surprised. There was veggies that consisted of onions (lots of them), carrots, zucchini and mushrooms. They were good, but I was expecting hibachi veggies (squash, zucchini, mushrooms, onions + bean sprouts). I received five pieces of steak, literally five, I received four pieces of shrimp (yes, you are reading this correctly) all for $24.75. I will never be back here and neither will my party I came with!! The fried rice was 0% fried rice, it was a packaged wild rice/rice, I was shocked!! You also had to pay an extra $1.75 for rice too! The food is good, but the service was horrible. Me and my friend decided we were going to go out and eat sushi today, Decided to go to the Sushi Factory. As soon as we walked in, we were asked how many and we responded to as it just being us two, we were pointed to the waiter who looked very annoyed to even serve/seat us. The waitress took our orders, and we got our food, not once were we checked on and asked how our meal was during that whole time while being there (not to mention that it was us and 2 other tables) as soon as we were finished eating and cleaned up our plates and the table (leaving absolutely nothing for them to clean and just to grab the plates) we tried to call out several times to both of the waitresses that were working and neither of them payed any attention. After getting our check and paying, we waited a little bit longer just for her to get me my change. When we were getting ready to leave, she grabbed the check holder that was left on the table and had literally jogged over to us and told us we needed to leave a tip, even though we were not obligated to leave one, my friend had pulled out $5 from his wallet and placed it onto the check holder and we left. Maybe if we would have gotten better service we would have left a good review AND an actual good tip, She is lucky that she even got one. I do not recommend this place unless you want bad service from the waiters/waitresses. My mother was absolutely furious as she tried to call the manager and tell him about the experience just for him to seem like he did not care and was starting to get upset with her. Again, DO NOT RECOMMEND. Both the waitress and the manager looked very annoyed as soon as we walked in, Not sure why we were treated like this as we are two very well behaved 17 year olds. Beware of Tip amount. I only tipped $6 when the recommended 18% tip amount was $11.55 because Our server never stopped by even once after our meal was delivered and I was not happy about that. We needed salt, drink refill, and additional napkins. Surprisingly, my credit card bill showed total amount including $11.56, not $6. I believe the restaurant manipulated the tip amount. I was so excited when I found out about a new sushi place! My son's girlfriend and I did a girls day out. We both loved our lunch here! The staff was SO nice, polite, and very helpful. This place is clean and so spacious. The decor is very nice. The chefs prepare your food quickly and it looks so beautiful, almost too lovely to eat! They do not rush you, they make you are okay, have enough to eat and drink. Oh and as weird as it it, the Ladies bathroom is HUGE!!! You could have a party in there! She tried to be as attentive as possible without food. We waited at least an hour before our food came to the table. We ordered a crab Rangoon as an appetizer thankfully to hold my husband over for the wait. I order the Picasso and Bruno sushi roll and my husband ordered shrimp bento box with friend rice. We LOVED it. The food was perfectly balanced between the sauces, the rice, everything. We were very happy with our dinner. We joked about taking a few rolls home. Half price rolls, you can't beat it! I'm still new to the sushi world but I enjoyed the spicy salmon and dynamite rolls the most. They had a pretty extensive menu of classic, premium, spicy and basically any other roll you could think of. They also have other items outside of sushi but the deal is so good, it's hard to skip. Tried this for lunch on a Friday. There were a few tables. We only interacted with one employee - she was very quiet. She sat us promptly, delivered our drinks and then the interaction fizzled. It took 20 min for her to come back and take our order and then another 35min for our sushi to hit the table. Sushi is okay. Nothing to write home about. This place is incredible. I'm not even a sushi fan but I've been going here just for the hibachi and steamed buns. Holy cow they are good. The deals here are amazing. Its 50% off sushi like every day and for lunch all of their hibachi or noodle meals are discounted. I love the chicken and steak hibachi and you have to get the bulgogi steamed buns. I have only done takeout and it's been perfect everytime. The hibachi comes with a salad and soup. I havent had the sushi but everyone raves about it. This place literally almost killed me. I purchased a bento box with tempora and specifically stated that I have a seafood allergy; yet, sushi was included in my meal.
