My family and I went here yesterday and I'm still raving over the love we all have for this restaurant! Right after we were seated we put in a beverage order and a second server came to take our AYCE order. I have to say the options to pick from are endless! No other Sushi restaurant brought out our food as quick as Hero did, I was mesmerized! The food was delicious and you can choose whole or even half orders. The seafood to rice combination was great. The servers were happy to help in any way as well. They even give you punch cards, when you complete your 10th AYCE meal, the 11th one is free! One of the first words my 11 year old said was, "this is our regular place to go for sushi for now on"! I couldn't agree more. read more

Pretty good. I ordered out since my mom was across the street at the hospital. I ordered 3 rolls and they were really good. I will say they were a little too large I like when the sushi is on the smaller size, it's easier to eat and more enjoyable so that would be my only complaint. This place is so warming and welcoming! Service is always friendly and very helpful. It is above average AYCE sushi. I really like the sashimi dishes with different seasonings and non-Mayo based dressings. They are really good. They do killer poke nachos, with mixed fish, not to be missed! Rolls are great and creative, especially the sashimi. Sashimi is one of the strong points here, order it. The room is spaced out, yet intimate, spread out I like many AYCE. Sushi Hero is definitely one of the better sushi places of Vegas. There's so many sushi place to choose from but what separates sushi hero are all the unique items on the menu. They have a cute little superhero theme with a lot of the items on the menu. There is a daily chef special menu choices not typically seen at sushi places to give you even more variety. Fish to rice portion is perfect. Service is good and really quick. Every time we've gone it gets busy but still the servers find a way to take care of you. Definitely recommend. I moved out here to Inspirada from Enterprise about three years ago and in Enterprise Sumo Sushi II was the place I would go, loved that place just for the hot cheeto roll. Have been looking at sushi joints around henderson and a lot of them are your standard fare, meaning they are good, but like there was nothing that really was like, this is the place to get X. I found Sushi Hero from a suggestion from a friend and they knew that I was a big salmon skin fan... I am not sure what sushi hero puts in their salmon skin roll, but it is like crack, it is so appetizing. Like you come home from a long drive and you rush to the bathroom to pee appetizing, like after a few bites, I am just relaxed and know that I am on the right side of history kind of relaxed. More like 2.50 -ish stars. We wanted to give this place a try. We usually alternate between two different sushi places in the area. Wanted to check if this was worthy to add to our roster. No. The fish was low quality, super bland like it was frozen over and over a few times. They sure love putting eel sauce on EVERYTHING. Very weird, as the menu doesn't even state that the items were going to be drenched in eel sauce. Kitchen items were ok. Tasted like, eel sauce. Lol The server was nice, but not attentive even if the restaurant was slow. Seemed like maybe their first server job? They tried, I guess. We will pass on this. Easy parking in the large lot. Can take large and small parties. Don't know if they take reservations but you will probably get in. Ala Cart or AYCE: There is no buffet but there is a AYCE option for both lunch and dinner with separate prices. At first we started ordering ala cart but then my wife started adding up the price and felt that for us the $25.99 might save us money. Discussing the AYCE with the waitress...they allowed us to switch as we decided to get a few more items. So we reordered some items that we liked and got dessert too. Sushi Quality: Some sushi lovers favor quantity over quality. That is why there are so many AYCE sushi places here in the LV area . Some others love freshness and quality above all else. Sushi Hero seems to have found a middle ground where the sushi is nicely crafted, tasty, and appealing. Sushi rice and sushi rolls were perfect. The raw sushi fish was thick enough to have texture and taste...and fit in your mouth in one bite. Other Items: Shrimp Tempura, Tofu Agadashi, and desserts were small but 5 Stars perfect. Lots of room for two at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. We did the AYCE for $27.95. The menu is huge with a variety of simple and complex rolls. Everything we ordered was good but our favorites were the dynamite, salmon kama, sushi lasagna, and yuzu snapper nigiri. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. I thought this place was pretty good. I actually have never had all you can eat sushi before so I enjoyed being able to try a lot of different things. I thought everything I ordered was good. The fish was fresh and arrived quickly each time we ordered. We came here specifically because they had the AYCE option. We had good service and the waitresses checked on us often to see what else we'd like. We never had to wait. The music was really loud when we got there, but some other patrons asked to turn it down and they did that no problem. I left absolutely stuffed and happy! If I wanted to have my favorite sushi, I'd go somewhere else but for all you can eat this was really good and I'm glad to have it nearby!!! read more

I walked in today and wasn't acknowledged for a good 12 minutes. I ended up just leaving . Not one waiter came up to me & check me in a table or ask how many is in my party. I made eye contact with 2 of them as well . It was wild that they still didn't approach me . They probably do have good sushi BUT very poor service . Smh read more

This poor girl Lisa on a wheelchair and he went over to her, but didn't say a word. Their fish quality is very good for an ayce spot, and they don't put too much rice in their rolls. Good variety of appetizers and no rice rolls. Food's decent - for Vegas AYCE it's 3-4 stars out of 5. Not as good as Sakana or Sushi Neko. Fish quality was good for AYCE, menu had plenty of options. Main critiques were that service was a bit slow and compared to other AYCE they give you way more rice with your sushi and they are much more strict about leftover rice than the other options (threatening to charge you for not eating, etc). Makes the experience more stressful than other AYCEs. read more

Okay so we went in on Mother's Day with a party of 7 ranging from a baby to adults. Being that I am dining with children I expect the server to be more understanding and considerate of that and be patient and give me more than 30 seconds upon my arrival to order. I was literally just getting comfortable at the table when the server approached us with such attitude and rushing to order. We had questions about AYCE , depending on ages of the children. She judged all my children and immediately said you are all going to pay for AYCE except for the baby. First of all my kids were sitting down how in the world could this woman tell their height. I'm sorry but I am not aware of that superpower! Secondly she started by telling us she is the only one there, okay that is not our fault nor should be using that reasoning for being rude and dismissive to your PAYING customers. I will not go into details of what happened but I was highly disrespected and she embarrassed me and my children! She is absolutely lucky I just left church and I was in peace because she needed someone to really put her in her place! We left paid for the items my children ate. My friend stayed with her son and the situation got worse! She completely ruined our Mother's Day lunch! And please don't allow this lady to lie about not wanting to pay I had to go to another sushi spot and because we still wanted some sushi and trust me we ordered plenty of food and paid for all of it because I will pay for good food and good customer service. Oyster has some diced onions/fruit with lemony sauce One of my favorite is the salmon skin salad, skin is still crispy. All nigiris always taste fresh too - usually get the eel, uni, octopus w/ slice of lemon, salmon, sweet shrimp, etc. Even though they don't have Softshell crab like others, they still have a spiderman roll. This was our favorite and our go to place to go. We eat here at least once a month if not twice. But we tried to go there last night (4/5) and put our name on the waitlist which included our phone number. There was about 3 parties ahead of us and the inside had no waiting room so we went to the car. After about 45 min we decided to go check and see how much longer the wait would be only to find out our names were crossed off and we NEVER received a phone call. We wasted our time waiting there for a table. It's disappointing that we were looking forward to eating there because it's always good and the staff is usually just as great.
