This place is so warming and welcoming! Service is always friendly and very helpful. It is above average AYCE sushi. I really like the sashimi dishes with different seasonings and non-Mayo based dressings. They are really good. They do killer poke nachos, with mixed fish, not to be missed! Sushi Hero is definitely one of the better sushi places of Vegas. There's so many sushi place to choose from but what separates sushi hero are all the unique items on the menu. They have a cute little superhero theme with a lot of the items on the menu. There is a daily chef special menu choices not typically seen at sushi places to give you even more variety. Fish to rice portion is perfect. Service is good and really quick. Every time we've gone it gets busy but still the servers find a way to take care of you. Definitely recommend. I moved out here to Inspirada from Enterprise about three years ago and in Enterprise Sumo Sushi II was the place I would go, loved that place just for the hot cheeto roll. Have been looking at sushi joints around henderson and a lot of them are your standard fare, meaning they are good, but like there was nothing that really was like, this is the place to get X. I found Sushi Hero from a suggestion from a friend and they knew that I was a big salmon skin fan... I am not sure what sushi hero puts in their salmon skin roll, but it is like crack, it is so appetizing. Like you come home from a long drive and you rush to the bathroom to pee appetizing, like after a few bites, I am just relaxed and know that I am on the right side of history kind of relaxed. More like 2.50 -ish stars. We wanted to give this place a try. We usually alternate between two different sushi places in the area. Wanted to check if this was worthy to add to our roster. No. The fish was low quality, super bland like it was frozen over and over a few times. They sure love putting eel sauce on EVERYTHING. Very weird, as the menu doesn't even state that the items were going to be drenched in eel sauce. Kitchen items were ok. Tasted like, eel sauce. Lol The server was nice, but not attentive even if the restaurant was slow. Seemed like maybe their first server job? They tried, I guess. We will pass on this. Discussing the AYCE with the waitress...they allowed us to switch as we decided to get a few more items. So we reordered some items that we liked and got dessert too. Sushi Quality: Some sushi lovers favor quantity over quality. That is why there are so many AYCE sushi places here in the LV area . Some others love freshness and quality above all else. Sushi Hero seems to have found a middle ground where the sushi is nicely crafted, tasty, and appealing. Sushi rice and sushi rolls were perfect. Lots of room for two at 2:00 on a Friday afternoon. We did the AYCE for $27.95. The menu is huge with a variety of simple and complex rolls. Everything we ordered was good but our favorites were the dynamite, salmon kama, sushi lasagna, and yuzu snapper nigiri. Service was fast, efficient, and friendly. I thought this place was pretty good. I actually have never had all you can eat sushi before so I enjoyed being able to try a lot of different things. I thought everything I ordered was good. The fish was fresh and arrived quickly each time we ordered. We came here specifically because they had the AYCE option. We had good service and the waitresses checked on us often to see what else we'd like. We never had to wait. The music was really loud when we got there, but some other patrons asked to turn it down and they did that no problem. I left absolutely stuffed and happy! If I wanted to have my favorite sushi, I'd go somewhere else but for all you can eat this was really good and I'm glad to have it nearby!!! read more

Horrible service won't be back not fresh messed up on three rolls, give it to another table and then they gave it to us an acceptable, no table you were serving it too. We had asked for salmon, belly, and Jerry and got regular salmon paid attention to peoples orders of what they order. And manager was rude or the owner and kept staring at our table and my poor mother-in-law was like what is he doing? This poor girl Lisa on a wheelchair and he went over to her, but didn't say a word. Their fish quality is very good for an ayce spot, and they don't put too much rice in their rolls. Good variety of appetizers and no rice rolls. Food's decent - for Vegas AYCE it's 3-4 stars out of 5. Not as good as Sakana or Sushi Neko. Fish quality was good for AYCE, menu had plenty of options. Main critiques were that service was a bit slow and compared to other AYCE they give you way more rice with your sushi and they are much more strict about leftover rice than the other options (threatening to charge you for not eating, etc). Okay so we went in on Mother's Day with a party of 7 ranging from a baby to adults. Being that I am dining with children I expect the server to be more understanding and considerate of that and be patient and give me more than 30 seconds upon my arrival to order. I was literally just getting comfortable at the table when the server approached us with such attitude and rushing to order. We had questions about AYCE , depending on ages of the children. She judged all my children and immediately said you are all going to pay for AYCE except for the baby. First of all my kids were sitting down how in the world could this woman tell their height. I'm sorry but I am not aware of that superpower! Secondly she started by telling us she is the only one there, okay that is not our fault nor should be using that reasoning for being rude and dismissive to your PAYING customers. I will not go into details of what happened but I was highly disrespected and she embarrassed me and my children! She is absolutely lucky I just left church and I was in peace because she needed someone to really put her in her place! We left paid for the items my children ate. My friend stayed with her son and the situation got worse! She completely ruined our Mother's Day lunch! This was our favorite and our go to place to go. We eat here at least once a month if not twice. But we tried to go there last night (4/5) and put our name on the waitlist which included our phone number. There was about 3 parties ahead of us and the inside had no waiting room so we went to the car. After about 45 min we decided to go check and see how much longer the wait would be only to find out our names were crossed off and we NEVER received a phone call. We wasted our time waiting there for a table. It's disappointing that we were looking forward to eating there because it's always good and the staff is usually just as great.
