Low key, casual spot with a nice variety of rolls. Our server, Justin, had a full section near the bar area and provided excellent service to all - from besties to double dates to families with young kids.

This sushi spot is in a great location in downtown. They do have a good selection of sushi rolls from specialty rolls to more simple versions. I came for lunch with a large group during the work week and it was not busy. I ordered the Red Dragon roll and overall it was decent. My friend had the ramen and loved it!

Great spot for a night out in St Pete! We sat at the bar and had the gyoza as an app and then wanted to get crispy rice and fried rice before sushi. Unfortunately the fried rice didn't come out of the kitchen until we were finished with our sushi. We had two specialty rolls which were delicious. Would eat here again!

Restaurant was surprisingly empty at a common lunch hour (12-1pm). Staff got us settled quickly and were very helpful and attentive. After ordering food, appetizers arrived fast and were all fresh. We enjoyed the crab rangoon, which was uniquely shaped like gyoza and had a perfect balance of crab and cream cheese. There wasn't too much cream cheese in it but you could still taste it. Tuna nachos were tasty with a wasabi flavored sauce on it, but it overall didn't have much flavor. Food arrived a bit after that. I hate to say that the sushi wasn't fresh. It tasted like it was sitting out before or was refrigerated. Some of them lacked in flavor, and even the rolls with more flavor weren't anything special or unique. The spider roll was very bland and the tempura's texture wasn't fresh or crunchy. Overall, the sushi wasn't bad, it was just basic and not fresh. Service was good, though. It's a good spot to eat at if you want a quick meal and if you're not a diehard foodie who deeply cares for quality

Ate here just about every week, will never eat here again. Ordered take out, found hair in one of the rolls, wouldn't refund the order, only willing to refund the roll, when the roll was packaged with other rolls. Will be looking for a new sushi spot in St Pete

We came in on a whim on a busy Saturday night and sat at the sushi bar. Staff were super friendly, especially those working at the sushi bar. We got our food really quickly and it was really good quality. Thai, who worked at the sushi bar, was very efficient and personable. Definitely recommend! We will be coming back!

Went here in a Sunday evening and thank God we had reservations. The restaurant is packed and barely a table to be found. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh and prepared nicely. The edamame had great flavor and the two types of garlic and spicy were a nice change to the plain salted kind. The hand rolls were also very fresh and had a very nice crunch. The fried ice cream is dipped in a funnel cake type batter fried and cut in fours. The decor is dark and the tables are small but cozy. The staff hustles but they seem understaffed as we waited awhile to be served. Parking is tough as it is street parking only They do take credit card

Spicy edamame . To salty. The ramen was average. The stock reallygreat. I should've had the sushi. The service was great.

No need to go into how many I had :) and it was not vodka but it was good! We started with the miso soup and ginger salad. Soup was delicious. There were three generous pieces to the order. Then we had the hand rolls/tacos. Kelsey got them from "the other side" of the restaurant because they weren't in the lounge menu and I asked about them. They were small but shockingly filling. Loved them. I got the salmon ponzu and my friend got the spicy salmon. We both loved what we got. Then we got the scallop w/caviar. She asked about wanted nigiri versus sashimi and we opted for no rice. It was amazing. I highly recommend. Then we did the district roll and the dragon roll, both were great and different. I forgot to mention I am not a spicy fan and that the spicy could be in the side. Otherwise perfect. We ended with the Peking duck roll. Also delicious! But we were stuffed by this point. Marisol, the chef, was very creative in her presentation. Every dish was a work of art. The salmon lover roll was absolutely delicious as well had a nice fruity flavor along with it. And lastly, we originally came for the hand rolls (which are no longer on the menu) but they made an exception for us and they were phenomenal. Overall, would come back only 4 stars because everything began coming out at the same time and didn't have a pace to it.. cozy fun vibe! PS.. Our waiter Gabriel was only his second day and he was absolutely amazing and knowledgeable!

This whole restaurant is a omakase experience and form what I saw it's their traditional or nigiri omakase experience. This means the sushi chef prepares a variety of his choice of food directly in front of you. We were one of their earliest time slots right at opening which worked well because we had the place to ourself! All the seating is around the sushi bar, it is a small venue but a very traditional vibe of a sushi/omakase experience My wife and I have done a lot of traveling including to Japan and we absolutely love these because you get 1-1 times with an experienced sushi chef, getting explained where every fish came from and every ingredient. One cool thing that sushi sho rexley did is that they told you specifically how to eat each bite to maximize flavors. The chef and the host were friendly and patient with our questions. Arte, the host gave us a run down of the sake and even let us try some in order to decide, we ended up getting a variety of 7oz pours. The fish quality was extremely fresh and some of them were in house aged with different things such as citrus or fungi which gave such a texture explosion. I was with my wife, my 3 month old baby and my mom and we celebrated my birthday this day and Arte brought out a Japanese cake on the house which was very thoughtful. Overall, I am very grateful we were able to experience this restaurant and get my sushi fix in! I would recommend this and even come back if I'm in town again!
