Headed to a business meeting in downtown St. Pete and tried Sushi Inc--10/10 experience! From the spicy tuna and salmon rolls to the miso soup, everything was chef's kiss. The atmosphere, the options for different dietary needs, just everything was on point. On top of that, the meeting itself was amazing. We connected, shared ideas, and really started building something special involving the football team, her brand, and mine. My friend and I were craving sushi for lunch, and since we had just been at the Saturday morning market's summer location, this place was convenient. Inside was clean and cool, and just what we needed after sweltering outside. Our server was friendly and efficient, and diligent about refilling our water. They don't offer lunch specials on weekends, so I thought they were a bit more expensive than the places I usually go, but the sushi was fresh, and I really enjoyed my meal. I went with one of their specialty rolls, called Summer Fling, which was tuna, krab, shrimp, asparagus and spring mix - the appeal for me was that it was wrapped in rice paper, and had no rice in it. Restaurant was surprisingly empty at a common lunch hour (12-1pm). Staff got us settled quickly and were very helpful and attentive. After ordering food, appetizers arrived fast and were all fresh. We enjoyed the crab rangoon, which was uniquely shaped like gyoza and had a perfect balance of crab and cream cheese. There wasn't too much cream cheese in it but you could still taste it. Tuna nachos were tasty with a wasabi flavored sauce on it, but it overall didn't have much flavor. Food arrived a bit after that. I hate to say that the sushi wasn't fresh. It tasted like it was sitting out before or was refrigerated. Some of them lacked in flavor, and even the rolls with more flavor weren't anything special or unique. The spider roll was very bland and the tempura's texture wasn't fresh or crunchy. Overall, the sushi wasn't bad, it was just basic and not fresh. Service was good, though. Now it's new owners, but they kept the rolls and they are still tasty. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Not the nicest ambiance, but really you're here for the sushi aren't you. Went here in a Sunday evening and thank God we had reservations. The restaurant is packed and barely a table to be found. The sushi and sashimi was very fresh and prepared nicely. The edamame had great flavor and the two types of garlic and spicy were a nice change to the plain salted kind. The hand rolls were also very fresh and had a very nice crunch. The fried ice cream is dipped in a funnel cake type batter fried and cut in fours. The decor is dark and the tables are small but cozy. I visited for lunch and was satisfied with the service, food quality, and prices. I had a shrimp tempura roll with a ginger salad and miso soup for less than $20. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the soy sauce was really bad. I am not sure if it was an off brand or simply a bad batch but it tasted artificial/ had an overwhelming chemical taste. We stopped by Sushi Inc after the Art Fest on Sunday. Let me first start by saying we had the best server, he was very attentive to our needs and checked in on us. We choose to sit outside because we had a little one in a stroller and it was a beautiful day. We started off with Gyoza dumplings. Next we ordered three rolls The Uptown Funk, Red Dragon and one other I can't remember the name. The rolls were good. We ordered the combo fried rice for our kids. When I say this fried rice was legit, it had large chunks of meat and flavors were on point. The rice came with a salad amd miso soup both were delicious. My date and I were starving and ordered almost one of everything off the menu. I'm just going to cut to the food rating because we got so much. Decent sushi but management is lacking, we waited 1hr and 15 mins for our food and the server said it was because they had tons of to go orders and those are prioritized over dine in. That's ridiculous. It clearly wasn't just us as others were getting visibly upset which is understandable. The server kept apologizing but people have to eat. They clearly need to work on this. Holy moly. This place was BUSY, but I always take that as a good sign. Busy means it's better. Took about 15 mins or so to get a table (not bad for a Friday night) and they have outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is a little tricky if you're going when it's busy but there is a parking garage near by. The menu has a lot of good offerings, we decided to start with the tuna nachos and the pork belly and bbq bao buns. The bao buns were probably the best I've had in my life, no joke.. the pork belly was crisp and SO flavorful the bbq one was as well, the bun was so so fluffy it stuck to my teeth... ooooooo it was so good. The tuna nachos (literally the only thing I managed to get a picture of because I immediately shoveled food into my face) was so fresh and GOOOOD . The tuna nachos are wontons piled high with fresh tuna a wasabi sauce and roe, I can't stop thinking about them, honestly- thank god I have picture proof for reminiscing. For entrees we had the fresh tuna roll and the oh man I forget what the other was called but they were both amazing, the second was a spicy tuna with avocado on top and crunch inside.. it was delicious, slightly sweet from eel sauce on top and the sticky rice but so fresh and really good. The tuna fresh was unlike any roll I've ever experienced and OMG it was good. It was like a salad wrapped up and bound together in magic in a delicious sauce. I will def get again! I can't wait to go back and try more things. The cocktails too.. oh lordt. I had the blueberry mojito- YES it was amazing. Overall: Great sushi spot! The prices are reasonable especially during happy hour and on Thursdays which is happy hour all day. The sushi rolls are made fresh and the sashimi was very good. Our new fav sushi restaurant, adding to our sushi rotation. The rolls were very fresh and tasty while being reasonable priced. I like the location as well in dtsp we were able to go next door after and get a drink at the Christmas bar. The only negative was that the parking is hard to find on a weekend night and we had to pay $10 at a garage next door.
